Loved the demo using the modified transformer! Would the output voltage still be proportional to the input current if it was rectified and converted to DC?
I did try that and found the output was not very linear. I don't know why this did not work. If anyone reading this knows the answer please let us know,
Thanks Jim, very cool! Often wondered if you could have ahalf a turn, use to think it was a bit like digging a halfa hole! Now I know different. Seems to be only applicable - half turn part - to the EI core transformers, can't see how it can be done on a toroid.
