Thank you for the review. You were the only person who tried to connect the piano to the DAW, and that was very helpful. I also liked your explanation. subscribed with both my accounts. :)
I just got it to use with the Meta Quest 3 in order to learn piano. The midi functionality and the price as well as the fact that it was tested and confirmed to work with the PianoVision app is what made me choose it. It's exciting to see you use it as a controller - maybe I'll be able to figure that out too.
It seems like its the X88C model. Its one of those basic model from the comp. They have much advanced model like X88e which from what i read is a whole new level from these (tho i doubt if it can match the more expensive Roland FX30 or Yamaha Y125)
Nice video, man! would it be really bad to use it live as a MIDI controller? are there any drawbacks besides the low quality in the material of the keys?
Thanks! No the connection itself was pretty responsive in the DAW. Maybe the half spring half weighted keys would throw you off if you're used to a more traditional MIDI controller?
Are you talking about when I connected it as a MIDI controller? I used Logic but you should be able to use any DAW and/or VST with it! Otherwise its just the camera mic picking up the actual sound from the keyboard lol
@@HHGGS my problem is this: I bought the piano and I really want to use it as a controller for the piano sound of GarageBand or maybe KorgModule app. But somehow, nothing happens when I connect it to my phone via USB lightning with USB-C adapter cable. I tried the bluetooth midi but the latency is not good enough for live performances. thx
Hi Do you think this Terence folding piano is good for traveling? I am a beginner of piano ( I like classical piano pieces) and want to keep piano practice at least an hour a day during a month vacation.
Good question! I think it folds nicely and is the size of a small duffel bag so definitely is meant to be portable. The only issue I would have is that the keys don't feel like a normal piano. If that's ok for you then it's very reasonable for travel!

No problem! It's the only thing I ever do with electric keyboards (plug into a DAW) so of course I had to try. Thanks for the subs! :)

That's awesome!! And any DAW with a VST should allow you to use it as a MIDI controller :D have fun learning piano!

Neat! Thanks for the additional info!

Cool video, do the keys produce a noticeable sound when you press them?
And can you connect an external speaker to it ? 😊
Yeah, kind of a "thump" sound. And yes! You're able to connect an external speaker through the 3.5mm jack :D
Does it have ..grand piano ?
Is there an option to change the hertz? I prefer tuning the key of A to 432 hz instead of 440 hz.
I did not see that option :(
Probably will have to change it in post
May i know the weight pressing the key same like digital piano?
So it's definitely softer and more springy than a normal piano
May I know which model is this?
I think it's just called Terence Folding Piano no model number
Hi, i notice it has sus port. What is that for sir?
Are you talking about the port for the sustain pedal? I'd have to look at it again to know which port you're referring to
It should have pedal
👍👍
Sensitivity in the sound or not???
Im interested in this keyboard like controller
do you mean like velocity? Yes it definitely records velocity :D
In fact, here's the video where I used the keyboard to record a guitar part: ua-cam.com/video/oMifad_Cc14/v-deo.html
@@HHGGS great 😃😃 i need one
Ola como faz pra regular a sensibilidade desse instrumento? Comprei um mas está muito estridente sem sensibilidade?
what app did u use for the sound?

@@HHGGS yes, for the midi controller. So you used it for a laptop, not phone, I guess. I guess you used a usb to usb-C cable?

@@joserizal8331 i think you need to use a USB-B to Lightning adapter for your iPhone DAW
Do u think it will be good for me? As a beginner
Depends on what you want it for. Beginner music production? Absolutely. Beginner classical pianist? Maybe not haha
Nice videooo
Thanks!!
Headphone out into the spark!
I literally realized I could've done that then had the spark as the interface into the pc after I uploaded this 🤣🤣🤣
You're sharp sir 😧👍
