- Fishing Deek Creek Utah proved my redemption from my recent fishing slump. Late August Fishing for Bass kicked my tail in the valley. I tried mixing things up and fished the Provo River and was skunked 🦨. I had four unsuccessful fishing outings in a row with a big ole goose egg 0. I decided enough was enough and I was going to catch a Bass regardless the size and headed to Deer Creek Reservoir. It truly is a great fishery. This year water levels have fluctuated to the extreme. I have never seen the water soooo low. Despite the conditions Deer Creek still proves to be a great fishery.

Nice trip brotha. I live in Heber and me and DC have a love hate thing lol.
I live in Spanish Fork and it can be that way sometimes. However for the most part it treats me really well. Just need to have more of the little class of fish removed so the big one can grow. Tight line sir!
@@GillsNReelsFishing Just like nearly every Utah reservoir it needs more food. I would love to see a solid bait fish population in there and places like it. Shad shiners ect. Of course we probably never will but one can dream.

@Shifty Outdoors to be fair this was a month ago and I thought I would try my hand at fly fishing the Provo. Fly fishing is not my gig. I’m trying to learn though 😛
