    =============================
    We had a great day fishing Deer Creek Reservoir for Rainbow Trout on this early November 2020 day. In this video I will share what we were fishing with and some of the techniques that worked for us.
    Make sure you watch to the end to see the lake being stocked with 3,000 rainbow trout by the Utah DWR as we were leaving.
    You can get the Soldier Soul Micro Shrimp lures we were using here:

    Love your videos! I have learned a lot and my success relate has increased 100%!
    What poles are you using for trolling?
    Additionally, will be getting a down rigger so if you could include a short video for set up and accessories that would be awesome
    Thanks

    I haven't fished Deer Creek much, but the 1st was with Ryon and came home 6 rainbows and a fishing rig snagged off the bottom. Funny story about that rod and reel, I cleaned up the reel, took it all apart completely oiled and greased it up and works perfect. I use it all the time ....thank you Deer Creek lol. This is a great informative video Matt ,I'll be using your technique soon ......tight lines

    Do you slow the boat down when a fish is on, or just keep going? How fast were you going?

      We don’t slow the boat unless we have something really big on and then also reel in all the other poles. We typically troll about 1.5 mph.

      Dylan - thanks for watching! Deer Creek, Jordanelle and Strawberry are all great lakes to stop by for trout next time you are in the area.

      @@KokaneeAddictFishing I’m going on a charter to either deer creek or jordanelle so I’m excited because I’m from Louisiana and never salmon or trout fished

      @@KokaneeAddictFishing I believe it’s called Kokanee kids outdoors, which is reasonable because I’m quite a young fisherman. (With a lot of experience though)

    I've had the same problem at Deercreek, the rainbows just don't want to go in the net no matter the length of the handle.

    Do you use a fish finder while trolling?
