I cover it in video so you can see the steps. But in short, Beta says that you check the transmission oil level by removing the check bolt and seeing if oil seeps out the hole. Separately, they say that when changing the oil, you simply fill in 750 ml (no level check involved). The conflict is that the check plug is too low in the casing and oil will seep out with only about 400 ml filled in (or about half of what's actually required). So there's no point for the check plug, and no way to check oil level other than a drain and proper refill (using 750 ml).

Fill it with kerosene or diesel and lay on right side to drain, repeat till flushed
