You should review the Alien³ Dog Alien by NECA if you ever have the chance of picking it up.
The articulation is absolute greatness on it. Probably one of their most articulated figures.
I like his look but those battle damage marks are really bad. They're inaccurate too, because Jungle Hunter had smooth and non-battle damaged armor in the beginning of the film. Also, are your figure's hips loose? Literally every NECA Predator i bought has loose hips, to the point where some of them buckle under their own weight and fall backwards.
Jarmo Verriet Not Anthony, but the hips on mine are solid. They seem to have been getting better about the hips lately, at least on my figures.
RaginSpartan86 That's good to hear. My Ultimate City Hunter had such loose hips he would just flop backwards and fall over, but none of my new AVP Preds had the issue. I just asked it because it's a really annoying issue that's a dealbreaker on these figures for me.
The only NECA I own with loose hips is my Friday 13th Pt. VI Jason. Everyone else is solid.

The hinges are different colors on mine too. Seems like it's present on every copy.

Great figure.
This is also the 1st issue Jungle Hunter there were 2 reissues. You can tell because he has the short upper torso joint and the helmet is molded from 2 pieces as it has a seam across the top. The 2 reissues have better articulation and paint, and the battle damage is better on the 2nd issue and the third issue has no battle damage and the metal parts are painted darker.

i regret not getting that back then, prices went crazy high despite no changes to the figure. Line sure is fragile though
I really hate how the paint came out on the unmasked head. Its okay but if you look back at NECAs early predator wave 1 classic predator head sculpt and paint detail kills this one in my opinion. Even thinking about rebuying that old figure to pop the head on this figure. Since this is supposed to be the ultimate version I think 2 extra head sculpts instead of the mask and extra skull would have been a better option. One closed mandible look and one open.

The cable on the left arm was broken on mine at one end when I took it out of the pack. Doesn't look like it would reach to where it's supposed to connect at all.
I recommend to buy the translucent one

Those tramp stamps were initially drawing me away from getting him, but I had to get him bc the first Predator movie is my favorite. However, I’m happy to report that the tribal tattoos are gone from the recent re-release of Ultimate Jungle Hunter! In its place are more realistic wear markings.

Yep, same here. I ordered mine about 2 months back and the figure overall looks much dirtier and darker, including his skin, which seems more movie accurate.
I got the predator the details are good and the helmet looks good

Not sure if this was intentional, but I bought a Jungle Hunter Predator yesterday, and, through no fault of my own, his whole neck piece is loose. I don't know what happened, his neck is just loose, and won't stay on his body sometimes.

Lol I got the joke with the Batisita image since Natisita haves that awkward stupid sun belly button tattoo. Also all the predator figures seem good also will you pick up the 40th anniversary figures once they are released? would love to see how the Dutch figures look also great job as always anything 👌

How would you suggest customizing the loin cloth? I was thinking of cutting it off mine and then making a cloth version to tie around under the butt flap.
I know this comment is late but I found a very cheap knock off version if this figure sadly it fell apart after opening it

I think the head from the 2010 Predators classic Predator figure looks a lot better than the unmasked head on this.

I used a graphite pencil to kind of shade in the “belly button tattoos” and the look realistic now. I guess they are supposed to be bullet holes

@@AnthonysCustoms you just have to be careful it’s more for display because the pencil will rub off/leave streaks.

Might be able to use isopropyl alcohol to remove the "tramp stamps"!

Ambush predator uses the Snake predator head. Nothing from that was used on this guy

Mine doesn't have the weird belly tattoos on the mask! Running change maybe? I don't know but I love that it looks more natural.

No mine was at best buy so I doubt it was a bootleg. But I know there are a lot of bootleg Predators out there on eBay and such.

Mine just broke but i have a solution I use mighty bond too glue it but my predetor does not look like that but the body it's the same but the mask it's not the same to yours but the only thing that I don't have is the plasma fire

this came out 2 years ago. it's not up for pre-order. probably just a bad listing or maybe a reissue but that is unlikely.

How does it compare to the first release? Is this the same figure? A new mold or upgraded mold? His elbows look bad but that's minor.

Impossible Pie It's so different. Imagine the original release, but with Marvel Legends articulation. Double jointed knees and elbows, ab articulation, etc. So many accessories too! This is definitely the best Jungle Hunter figure to date. Oh yea, the wrist computer opens, which the original didn't do! This thing if damn near perfect.
Completely new core body mold with reused bits like the mask and Plasmacaster.
Jarmo Verriet I bought it, I like it but that wire going to go wrist broke!!! And I don't like the limited arm movements but I can glue the wire back to the end end but limits his arm articulation. I have the first release but haven't opened it might just try and sell it.
Is this worth collecting for the price that is is now?

It must probably not me neck or it’s pretty bad at detail or at joints move because if it’s 17 it’s not that good. If it’s more it’s better .
It may sound like heracy, but i actually removed the hoses on his arm and shoulder, to allow for more movement.
I don’t blame you, it hinders his left arm to the point where it’s barely posable.
The ones at Target have awful paint jobs, several unpainted parts, crooked paint, big blobs of paint in some areas, and each one looked very different. I guess Target is selling the knockoffs.
some one with a steady hand could take those carbon scoring effects off the helmet with an exacto knife if it really bothers them. I mean they look fake enough to almost be stickers
Weird, my figure has hinges in the wrists but yours seem to have balljoints
NEDERGANS is this the original jungle hunter or the ultimate body, the biggest difference is no chest joint
