Well said. The ending was perfect, couldn't have been better for both characters. Healing factor being what it is, the whole time in the intro I was thinking, Wolverine's heightened senses haven't been mentioned and really put him over the top. Reduces Predator's own stealth advantage and is superior to the thermal cam. Plus having Wolverine disable the shoulder cannon was brilliant, he plans and adapts as well as any other hunter. I would've liked to see Predator's glaive since there's a reach advantage over claws, but that's about it. Otherwise they came out with enough nasty tricks in the filming that it was a satisfying depiction for both.
I like how they portrayed wolverines tactical side when he cut the canon off. Wolverine does typically barge into a fight due to his healing factor. Amd his style is usually dictated by how much damage he can sustain while fighting but we forget that he's well rounded in multiple styles of fighting, hes got insane tracking skills and stealth as well as mastery over multiple weopons. Hes had to rely on all that when his healing factor isn't working well or he's dealing with multiple powered foes. So I like the subtle display of his tactical side here.

Overall this fight would not be Wolverine's hardest. In this same youtube channel, they literally had him fight and eventually kill Wonder Woman. The difference is if the predator actually wanted to kill the human , one plasma shot and your dead. But as we’ve seen in each predator movie they are honorable in a fight. Just like in the first movie the predator takes off all his gear and fought hand to hand only. If he wanted to go for the kill he could’ve just used his plasma gun

God I remember being in anticipation for this video back when it was coming out. While its obvious who was gonna win I was just more excited to see one of my favorite comic characters battle one of my favorite Monsters/Aliens in movies. Loved the homages to the first film and both actors who played Wolvie and The Predator respectively did a great job.
I stumbled upon the channel back in 2014 and this was the first video I saw. Needless to say I've been a big fan ever since. I'm thoroughly entertained by the content and look forward to the latest uploads. I think it's because the actor was just so convincing as a badass Wolverine. Attitude and personality can exceed the costume. Hollywood actors rely too much on lighting and CGI effects.
Honestly predator kidnapping dead pool and wolverine for their healing capabilities would be the ultimate training tools for the predator clans . The xmen or even the avengers having to go find out where they disappeared to and fight an entire clan of predators trained to fight superpowered beings could be a pretty fun crossover comic, or what if story. The predator in this video clearly only hunted humans, and some humans were able to take them down. Idk why any one would vote a predator to beat wolverine.

1:50 that's TJ Storm, he does a lot of motion capture for movies and games (he recently did Godzilla in the 2014 and 2019 movies). Its really cool to see this from 2013, because he did the Predator motion capture for the game Predator Hunting Grounds that came out last year. Also, that's Jamie Hall in the Pred suit, the nephew of OG Pred actor Kevin Peter Hall.
+Jan Matti This one was done by fans with low budget. An actual studio sponsored suit would be much much better. It wouldn't be spandex, but something more military like. Plus, there's a black and grey version and a orange and red version. We could say that the yellow might be a problem, but there other colorways hes used. Look at Batman, look at Deadpool, look at Superman. Those costumes have been done. Wolverine is no problem.

He shot at people who had guns from the trees. They could have been far away or in the trees too. The predator can't choose to see any other way, but he is completely equal when it comes to weapons. As seen in the movie. It makes sense he would use a knife when wolverine has claws but he would not fire at him if he did not have a gun. The predator is naturally better than a normal human anyways, so he will fight you organism to organism. There is no way for him to tell that wolverine does not naturally have metal bones so that is fair play.
Matty W If you're taking your canon from the movies you're going to have a bad day. Using the Plasma Caster on prey without equal armaments breaks the rules of the hunt. His entirely life would of been spent training for that moment, to hunt down worthy prey and to take it in its own environment, as an equal. To do anything else would be a grave dishonor.

Ok Ok...so who wins this fight. Wolverine vs ARNOLD! lol I'll tell you who. It goes like this. Wolverine finds Arnold doing bicep curls making fun of puny men in the gym. He approaches Arnold. "Hey Bub, try making fun of someone your own size." Arnold throws a dumb bell at Wolverine but Wolverine unsheathes his claws and cuts through the iron. He lunges at Arnold but Arnold immediately falls into a back squat position and Wolverine fly's past him missing a blow. Arnold grabs a barbell and spins it like Donatello extending his arm and gives a come hither type motion with his fingers. Wolverine attacks and shreds the barbell into pieces but Arnold reflects every blow with the bar. Arnold gives a huge Arnold punch and knocks Wolverine back. He then grabs 45 pound plates from the rack and tosses them at Wolverine like frisbees. Wolverine cuts through them but one gets through knocking him in the face. Wolverine wipes the blood from his face and goes into berserk mode slicing and dicing his way to Arnold. Arnold dodges and blocks Wolverines blows with his forearm. Wolverine stares dumbfounded as to how a forearm just blocked his adamantium claws. But this is no normal forearm. It's Arnold's forearm! Wolverine quickly uppercuts Arnold into the stomach area attempting to finish off the buff freak of nature but Arnold flexes his core and shatters Wolverine's claws. Wolverine rages tremendously and lifts Arnold throwing him back into the cardio area. Arnold is thrust backwards through a wall from the movement of the treadmill. As Wolverine looks through the rubble he sniffs quickly and looks above as Arnold fly's down from above smashing Wolverine in the head. Arnold does a double back bicep shot blinding Wolverine with oil shine from the suns glare and bulging biceps. Wolverines eyes give out from the sheer muscular definition rendering him blind. Arnold walks towards Wolverine and lifts him up with 2 arms. He lays down on the bench in a pressing form and says, "You won't be back" to Wolverine as he bench presses him through the ceiling launching him into outerspace. Wolverine is never seen again.

Coming back to this after Deadpool 3. Just wanted to say I still like your version of the suit better. For some reason, I thought the yellow suit in Deadpool 3 looked ridiculous (apparently, I'm the only one that thinks so), but this was way better and looked far more awesome.

The only reason a Predator would shoot at point blank like that would be to keep their target at a distance, probably knew those adamantium claws would be trouble even for it's thick skin.

Yeah my money was on Wolverine too. The Yautja while formidable...have been bested in open combat before by mere humans. So there wasn't any doubt that Wolverine could get the best of one. Powerful healing factor, sharp senses to see through the cloak, his adamantine claws, the Yautja had no way to fight around that.
Oh come on. Just about ANY one-on-one fight involving Wolverine is going to have one outcome. A better match would have been the Predator vs the Batman, although if they put Batman in too many more episodes they might as well call the show Batman vs. . .

wolverine is hard to kill sure, but superman would just chunk him into space before wolverine even knew the fight had started. there are plenty of characters that could take out wolverine, who in the end is a low power character. but predator was an awful match up. reasonably skilled guy with some weapons does not take down a superhero.
William Garcia first off, most of your list is the wrong friggin universe so kiss my grits. Second, i can see Wolverine beating Iron Man. Maybe not the Hulk, but the Hulk is almost as broken as Wolverine's healing factor can be so it's not a fair match up. And no shit Superman could take him. He can take pretty much anyone. What I'm saying is that Wolverine vs Predator is only a slightly fairer match than Wolverine vs Batman because at least the Predator always goes for a kill. Wolverine can't be killed by normal means. All Predator has going for him is his base strength being higher than humans, but that is no where near enough. Putting him up against someone that he just needs to outlast is pointless.

The problem with characters like Wiloverine and Deadpool is that THEY CANNOT DIE. So a death battle style fight will always be one sided if they're fighting anyone but each other... HOWEVER... they don't need to be killed in a fight. All one needs to do is find some way to beat them senseless and incapacitate them... for a little bit, anyway. Sure, they'll just grow everything back, but giving such a character a beating that'll keep them on the ground for a little while, and winning that way, is still possible... it's just tricky.
max steele 2 ways, by your logic... If the predator set off his nuke before Logan could escape the blast radius, then the nuke would vaporize every atom in wolverine's body. There would be nothing to even begin the regeneration process. I was under the impression that even a decapitation would result in regeneration because neuron's firing would start regeneration. I thought the only way was complete obliteration of all cells damn near simultaneously.

Once that plasma shoulder weapon was out of the game, there wouldn't be any fight at all. Wolverine would be twice as fast and therefore, almost instantly fatal for Predator. Wolverine is also OLD and more experienced. The only thing that would allow predator to win is if he nuked the planet from orbit with his ship, and even then, Wolverine would probably regen and return to life once more. lol Can't really kill him. Maybe try spraying Wolverine with liquid nitrogen, kidnap him on the ship, and eject him into space near a star? Other than that, Predators should probably avoid this fight.
I mean Arnie beat Predator with sticks and rocks with no healing factor, so I think it was pretty obvious that the immortal guy with unbreakable metal claws would come out on top.
Ok first problem to this is, Predator would not attack Wolverine, because, Wolverine is unarmed. The Predators have been hunting humans for hundreds of years since the 1700's at least. They only attack humans who are carrying weapons. Before anyone says that they would attack Wolverine because of his extendable arm claws. They don't have x-ray vision to see that Wolverine has claws inside his arms. It would however make sense if this Predator saw Wolverine using his claws in a previous fight. Then the Predator would maybe fight Wolverine, especially if Wolverine killed a few people. Predators hunt for sport. Not just mindless killing. Also, Grey Hulk killed Wolverine in a "What if" comic by throwing a tree trunk into Wolverines' stomach. Predators' shoulder cannon could blow Wolverines' heart completely up from regenerating.

Mr. Pug Wolverine can did just as easily as any other human. If you blast Wolverine's heart out of his body he can die. He's not bulletproof or invincible. He's not Deadpool. blow his heart out of his chest, like the Predator could with his shoulder cannon and Wolvie would die. The movie Wolverine only survived the flashfire from the nuke, not the actualy blast, he was inside the ground when the nuke blast went over him. Had Wolverine been outside when the blast hit, he'd be an admantium skeleton laying on the ground
This is way to one sided. Of course fucking Wolverine would win. I'm the biggest fucking Predator fanboy ever and even I'd say Wolverine would win. I also wanna say, a predator would never have even attempted to kill Wolverine before knowing the full extent have his power. In all the Predator movies, the first half of the movie is just the predator stalking the main characters so it can know all their strengths and weaknesses. Had it actually done that here, it would've either backed off knowing Wolverine can't die, or play it out more strategically and try to hinder Wolverines healing. Another thing I wanna point out, it would've never uncloaked so willingly like that. A predators biggest weapon is the element of surprise. This was so poorly made and didn't properly reflect how a real Yautja would've acted in this situation.
This is the most incredible storytelling l have ever seen. I feel the characters struggle and lead her to PTSD. from the battle of the creature. Congratulations keep it up. I think you deserve to be called from a better movie or Episode. 🙂👏

I have been looking for the Wolverine vs Darth Vader video. Can someone help me find this?
I like how they portrayed wolverines tactical side when he cut the canon off. Wolverine does typically barge into a fight due to his healing factor. Amd his style is usually dictated by how much damage he can sustain while fighting but we forget that he's well rounded in multiple styles of fighting, hes got insane tracking skills and stealth as well as mastery over multiple weopons. Hes had to rely on all that when his healing factor isn't working well or he's dealing with multiple powered foes. So I like the subtle display of his tactical side here.

God I remember being in anticipation for this video back when it was coming out. While its obvious who was gonna win I was just more excited to see one of my favorite comic characters battle one of my favorite Monsters/Aliens in movies. Loved the homages to the first film and both actors who played Wolvie and The Predator respectively did a great job.

I cannot believe this video came out nearly 11 years ago. Recently, an official Wolverine VS Predator comic came out.
The predator is all about pride, and beating other beings on equal-ish ground. He would never shoot wolverine because wolverine did not have a gun.
Yet he shot at many targets from a safe distance away many times while they couldnt see him. He probably saw in one of his vision mode that Logan is a mutant with indestructible bones
He shot at people who had guns from the trees. They could have been far away or in the trees too. The predator can't choose to see any other way, but he is completely equal when it comes to weapons. As seen in the movie. It makes sense he would use a knife when wolverine has claws but he would not fire at him if he did not have a gun. The predator is naturally better than a normal human anyways, so he will fight you organism to organism. There is no way for him to tell that wolverine does not naturally have metal bones so that is fair play.
Matty W If you're taking your canon from the movies you're going to have a bad day. Using the Plasma Caster on prey without equal armaments breaks the rules of the hunt. His entirely life would of been spent training for that moment, to hunt down worthy prey and to take it in its own environment, as an equal. To do anything else would be a grave dishonor.

I'll tell you who. It goes like this.
Wolverine finds Arnold doing bicep curls making fun of puny men in the gym.
He approaches Arnold. "Hey Bub, try making fun of someone your own size."
Arnold throws a dumb bell at Wolverine but Wolverine unsheathes his claws and cuts through the iron.
He lunges at Arnold but Arnold immediately falls into a back squat position and Wolverine fly's past him missing a blow.
Arnold grabs a barbell and spins it like Donatello extending his arm and gives a come hither type motion with his fingers.
Wolverine attacks and shreds the barbell into pieces but Arnold reflects every blow with the bar.
Arnold gives a huge Arnold punch and knocks Wolverine back. He then grabs 45 pound plates from the rack and tosses them at Wolverine like frisbees. Wolverine cuts through them but one gets through knocking him in the face.
Wolverine wipes the blood from his face and goes into berserk mode slicing and dicing his way to Arnold.
Arnold dodges and blocks Wolverines blows with his forearm. Wolverine stares dumbfounded as to how a forearm just blocked his adamantium claws. But this is no normal forearm. It's Arnold's forearm!
Wolverine quickly uppercuts Arnold into the stomach area attempting to finish off the buff freak of nature but Arnold flexes his core and shatters Wolverine's claws.
Wolverine rages tremendously and lifts Arnold throwing him back into the cardio area. Arnold is thrust backwards through a wall from the movement of the treadmill.
As Wolverine looks through the rubble he sniffs quickly and looks above as Arnold fly's down from above smashing Wolverine in the head.
Arnold does a double back bicep shot blinding Wolverine with oil shine from the suns glare and bulging biceps.
Wolverines eyes give out from the sheer muscular definition rendering him blind.
Arnold walks towards Wolverine and lifts him up with 2 arms. He lays down on the bench in a pressing form and says, "You won't be back" to Wolverine as he bench presses him through the ceiling launching him into outerspace. Wolverine is never seen again.

Yeah my money was on Wolverine too. The Yautja while formidable...have been bested in open combat before by mere humans. So there wasn't any doubt that Wolverine could get the best of one. Powerful healing factor, sharp senses to see through the cloak, his adamantine claws, the Yautja had no way to fight around that.

Maybe not the Hulk, but the Hulk is almost as broken as Wolverine's healing factor can be so it's not a fair match up. And no shit Superman could take him. He can take pretty much anyone. What I'm saying is that Wolverine vs Predator is only a slightly fairer match than Wolverine vs Batman because at least the Predator always goes for a kill. Wolverine can't be killed by normal means. The problem with characters like Wiloverine and Deadpool is that THEY CANNOT DIE. So a death battle style fight will always be one sided if they're fighting anyone but each other...
HOWEVER... they don't need to be killed in a fight. All one needs to do is find some way to beat them senseless and incapacitate them... for a little bit, anyway. Sure, they'll just grow everything back, but giving such a character a beating that'll keep them on the ground for a little while, and winning that way, is still possible... it's just tricky.

max steele 2 ways, by your logic... If the predator set off his nuke before Logan could escape the blast radius, then the nuke would vaporize every atom in wolverine's body. There would be nothing to even begin the regeneration process. I was under the impression that even a decapitation would result in regeneration because neuron's firing would start regeneration. I thought the only way was complete obliteration of all cells damn near simultaneously.

Not disagreeing with the results, but all the predator needs to do is just incapacitate wolverine and then strap his bomb to wolverine's face or something.

I can't see Wolverine having this much trouble taking out a predator.
Once that plasma shoulder weapon was out of the game, there wouldn't be any fight at all. Wolverine would be twice as fast and therefore, almost instantly fatal for Predator. Wolverine is also OLD and more experienced. The only thing that would allow predator to win is if he nuked the planet from orbit with his ship, and even then, Wolverine would probably regen and return to life once more. lol Can't really kill him. Maybe try spraying Wolverine with liquid nitrogen, kidnap him on the ship, and eject him into space near a star? Other than that, Predators should probably avoid this fight.
I mean Arnie beat Predator with sticks and rocks with no healing factor, so I think it was pretty obvious that the immortal guy with unbreakable metal claws would come out on top.
Well not immortal if the healing factor gets overtaxed, like Raiden was able to do with the Murasama HF Sword

If you remove context then it seems bad but the Predator had completely beaten Dutch, it just got unlucky.

Ok first problem to this is, Predator would not attack Wolverine, because, Wolverine is unarmed. The Predators have been hunting humans for hundreds of years since the 1700's at least. They only attack humans who are carrying weapons. Before anyone says that they would attack Wolverine because of his extendable arm claws. They don't have x-ray vision to see that Wolverine has claws inside his arms. It would however make sense if this Predator saw Wolverine using his claws in a previous fight. Then the Predator would maybe fight Wolverine, especially if Wolverine killed a few people. Predators hunt for sport. Not just mindless killing. Also, Grey Hulk killed Wolverine in a "What if" comic by throwing a tree trunk into Wolverines' stomach. Predators' shoulder cannon could blow Wolverines' heart completely up from regenerating.
That just adds more strength to my point, thank you.

Wolverine can did just as easily as any other human. If you blast Wolverine's heart out of his body he can die. He's not bulletproof or invincible. He's not Deadpool. blow his heart out of his chest, like the Predator could with his shoulder cannon and Wolvie would die.
The movie Wolverine only survived the flashfire from the nuke, not the actualy blast, he was inside the ground when the nuke blast went over him. Had Wolverine been outside when the blast hit, he'd be an admantium skeleton laying on the ground

This is way to one sided. Of course fucking Wolverine would win. I'm the biggest fucking Predator fanboy ever and even I'd say Wolverine would win.
I also wanna say, a predator would never have even attempted to kill Wolverine before knowing the full extent have his power. In all the Predator movies, the first half of the movie is just the predator stalking the main characters so it can know all their strengths and weaknesses. Had it actually done that here, it would've either backed off knowing Wolverine can't die, or play it out more strategically and try to hinder Wolverines healing.
Another thing I wanna point out, it would've never uncloaked so willingly like that. A predators biggest weapon is the element of surprise.
This was so poorly made and didn't properly reflect how a real Yautja would've acted in this situation.
