Scott was so cool . I never thought of him as grunge. He was his own man .
He had a choice between us and life or heroine and no more life..You know,I hate heroine.
He was a bad ass un to himself
Stp isn't grunge
@@andresgarcia-jc4mf they're saying that as STP got lumped in with grunge, as did Alice in Chains imo. Both bands are way more expansive than that label.
@@iain2080 and so was nirvana . bleach and in utero definitely had their own identity and even nevermind . that label didn’t fit any of the bands it was given to and it was just something to categorize the seattle alt rock explosion in the 90’s
Holy shit, they were ON this night!
Simon Hall yes they were!
How tight is this version !? Goosebumps when that riff kicks in \m/
Boom 💥
R.I.P. Scott Weiland -- you'll be missed.
There will never be another Scott Weiland! RIP and thank you for your awesome voice and showmanship!
RIP Scott. I saw you twice in concert and you blew me away each time. Now they are cherished memories. God speed.
+SunnyChaplin same here, having also seen him twice. breaks my heart that there won't be a third time.
+Eric Ramos absolutely! and the way he wielded the megaphone....sigh.
SunnyChaplin
tragic shit. have cried a lot of tears for what once was, but will never again be. sucks that the last time i saw them (2008), that they were so great, but that the chick i took to the concert had about no appreciation for how great stp was that night. rock on, sunny....
Yeah, I of course didn't know him, but he was such an incredible force that my heart breaks that he's gone. I remember working in a music store when they first broke and I was never the same after I heard Core. From then on they have always been on my player with Tiny Music especially being worn out. I just adored him despite the issues and demons he had. I have 3 singers I follow religiously and he was always one of them. So sad.
While you're wearing out Tiny Music, I am doing my best to wear out Core and Purple. I love everything or almost everything out of Core including the songs they didn't make singles out of. Dead and Bloated, Wicked Garden and Naked Sunday were top notch in my less than humble opinion especially Naked Sunday. Naked Sunday I think is all Dean playing like two or three keys letting it squeal for a few seconds, then doing it again.
He was a rock legend, and one of the best frontmans. RIP Scott you helped me with your music.
blows my mind every fucking time
I can't believe this (concert) was 10 years ago. I can't believe how much I miss the 1990's and the great music of that time. "Sometimes it blows my mind".
This was the first song I taught my kids on the guitar.
i dont care.
The thing that kills me is that being almost 34 years old, I could have easily seen these guys for this tour, but I had no idea the opportunity was there. I hadn’t yet “discovered” just how great these guys are. In 2010, I was hard core into going to all the Rush shows I could, which I’m very happy I was able to see about 10 shows between 2007 and when they retired, and then a couple years ago, be lost “the professor”… RIP Neil, it still hurts that you’re gone.
I'm 46 years and seen STP many times live and they rock period end of story ! So sad to see such a great performer die so young RIP Scott your words will live in my mind and in my heart forever.
Scott was in his element, full swing. He was an exceptional frontman. So involved with the experience, leading the way. What a loss.
A two-note guitar riff. Just what this song needs to be cool as heck.
I don't know how many times I've watched this concert, just the biggest fan of Scott / Velvet Revolver / and STP, hoping some day I'd get to see them live. Makes me sad. I will never forget waking up and hearing by my mother what happened.
Love listening to these guys tripping. Nothing like it
What a powerful performance all the way around. This band is so locked it's a damned shame that Scott like so many others couldn't reign in his demons.
i was there amazing concert 🙌 great memories
Jeremy Lopez lucky you
He will be missed
JME
This was an amazing show
R.I.P. Scott! Great performance here! Got to see STP twice, Once a Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans. The other time was in The New Orleans Arena. Both times they rocked!!!! gonna miss that!
Amazing! Live Forever Scott Weiland
STP is un- replaceable. Scott was such a show man, a true talent of the stage. They are un-replaceable. Every song a hit. Good Bye. However, as real fans we will watch and listen to your songs as long as we are.
Heard him say somewhere, Vasoline was his favourite song!
Scotts passion wont ever be reached by Chester
+carlos pineda you wanna know about atrocity, atrocity...
+Eric Ramos you got that right.
Jeff Gutt aint got it either. Weiland’s IRREPLACEABLE.
@@xxxvader I've seen Gutt live, he's a great performer and does a solid job. I was lucky enough to see them with Scott on the No. 4 tour. There will never one another one like him.
The love that I have for Scott is a brotherly love. He had. some combination of my four late brothers. RIP Scott...
So bummed I never seen them all together.Ive listened to them since a boy and I still love them.Their sound, lyrics, and vibe are just off the charts. And probably always will be.
Killin this!! Love it.
This performance is giving me chills.
They make my top 20 of all time bands and i was there when first came out we heard sex type thing and then plush
STP and VR helped me alot over the years Scott is an idol to me RIP ♡♡
wish I could have seen them. RIP Scott
Perfection
Very good❤
Love it, aye!! RIP/ RIH
Awesome
Holy crap, they sound amazing!!!
Damn it So sad of his passing.
He was so great .
That whole band WAS INCREDIBLE!..
So many great singers have passed .Really gets to me..
You guys know who I'm talking about ..All of them gone..😪😪😪 Fuck drugs...
So mad that he is gone... 😢
one of the best frontmen ever....shame gone so young
This is a rock concert! ✊🏽STP!!!!

so f-in good there are no words......
So missing you
Scott!!!! 💔💔💔
"What's real and What's for sale..."
The Racers Edge. Yeah.
❤
Scott! I loved you with STP. I was starting to like you with VR. But then, sometimes good things don't last I guess. Where are you my friend?
Gonna miss this guy and this band
july 18th 2020
STP…personally…at there very best
december 2019
Voice still sounds waaayyyy better than the wildabouts version live.
He was in a horrible place health wise by then, not really all that surprising.
Stone temple pilot I'm still alive 1:15 1:17
1:35
I'm still alive
well. I'm 15. Stone Temple Pilots... It was one of my dreams to see them with Scott. guess I'll never get to.
+Capricorn Sister feel for ya, kid. their discs do not do them justice. one guitar, one bass and one drummer, and they were an absolute wall of badass sound in concert, with THE MAN behind the mic.
+Eric Ramos the likes of which we'll never see again :-(
Maybe I’m in the minority, but the good news is that STP has a fantastic new singer that brings something new to the table but is also reminiscent of Scott while not seeming to imitate him. Saw the new STP this year and they rocked.
PILOTS OF GALAXY
STAR NGC 17
Sucks he passed relatively young . He would have thrived in the internet era
scott bigger than god iytai
Power>>>>> Scott...................
All poultry gumps
One of my most favorite bands ever, even though Weiland was a fucking druggee and is now dead. Actually they got an album out of the shit before he croaked. He should have been dead 20 years ago.
He was a complete wacko and was kicked out of the band twice, they brought him back but he was a heroin fuck from way back and was never going to change, except in death.
God! What a shame! ..near to being a "supergroup"!.... makes me fucking sad!
What a wasted talent & life
What a stupid comment. How exactly is a 25 year career, thousands of shows and millions of records sold "wasting" your talent??
What a moron lol
lame
so bad
Your parents raising of you? Yeah, it's pretty bad.
@@KristenDETW Father! and mother still together and doing quite well at 54 years married. Yes. Raised quite well.
Quite comfortably and educated beyond enough to have an opinion of this bunk.
