- Took a little trip to the Kentucky Dam Artifact Show. It's always a great show and we look forward to it every year. If you have never been to an artifact show and are in the area I would highly recommend this one.
Just got a chance to watch this walkthrough vid of the show. Wow! Unbelievable amount of incredible artifacts in that room! Hard to take it all in. Thanks for sharing!

is all that stuff real prehistoric and how much is modern made
Great question not all of the artifacts at the shows are ancient and authentic. It’s a mix of modern made stuff for sure. Not as much, but you will find some. Some people might claim they have an authentic piece, but being modern. That’s why we like finding vs buying. You know without a doubt they are authentic when you find them. I usually buy one nice artifact a year, but I always make sure they are papered by Jerry Dickey. Thanks again for watching! 👍🏻
@@TennesseeRocks yeah, i have heard of people throwing modern heads in creeks and stuff. Also, as for these papers, about all they can do is take your money and say, well it has all the features of a prehistoric tool, but that doesnt make it a for sure thing. It kind of sucks all around
@@spacecatboy2962 I agree totally. I use to buy more until we started finding. I’ve bought bad stuff before and have learned a lot from this hobby. Your exactly right having something authenticated is just an opinion. We appreciate the comment and your input. 👍🏻
@@TennesseeRocks jerry dickey on his very outdated website claims he has traveled and dug and spoke and met with people in clubs and museums and so on and on, yet i cannot find a picture or video of him anywhere. You would think he would have something showing his place, collection, or lectures or something. Makes me wonder
@@spacecatboy2962 Jerry stays busy for sure. I haven’t looked at his website lately. He’s an honest guy and I trust his opinion when we have anything authenticated. The only time we usually get to see him is at the shows and we usually chat. 👍🏻
