- I've been enjoying a lot of soul and funk lately and getting to see @durandjonestheindications1622 was awesome! One of my favorite parts of the show was seeing Durand fall to his knees and sing with so much passion at 22:44. It made the show so much more intense and personal for me. I also think Aaron left the crowd with so much feels when he teared up saying that his S.O. was out in the crowd at 27:06. Another highlight for me was the duo that Durand and Mayteana had. The way they sang and held each others hand at 1:20:28 made was intense!
If there's anything I have to complain about, it was the loud screams and hair flips in front of me. Unfortunately, I didn't arrive early enough to get the front railing otherwise I would've had better views of the tour members. Also, there was a small break during Is It Any Wonder?, someone bumped into me and I accidentally stopped recording for a second or two.
Anyway, this was a really great show! It took a while to find all the names of the tour members along with the covers they performed. If you like soul and funk don't miss out and catch them live while they're on tour!

This band doesn't get deserved recognition because it is not considered "mainline or current". Rather, it is (I think), more an Oldies style sound that appeals to old assholes like me who drove slow, and if you could fit a pack of Marlboros under your car it wasn't low enough. We all listened to oldies then and D,J. & The Indications fit well in that old style music. And make no mistake, there's a big difference between oldies and shit that's just old. And at any rate, I know a gang of folks who still have a little style about em' and they too, appreciate this band....and a a few others who are making similar moves. I hope they keep it up

Thank you for the upload!! Been listening to them for years and finally got to see them. Was on the right side by the bar. Loved how everyone was just vibing and having a good time. I bought a piece of their merch (bowling shirt) and ran into some people huddling a small white gate outside. Durand was sitting down, he came over and Aaron was nice enough to to bring a pen and he signed my shirt!

Haha love that the title of the 5th song is "Don't You Know" (I Really Love You) - The Ambassadors, seeing as this track pulls HEAVILY (in the best ways) from this classic song. Thought they were going to do a medley when i first read the caption. One can even mash up the lyrics and arrive at a hybrid haha "Don't you know it's how i really love you...baby yes I do".
They have sooo many influences throughout the songs they play!
