@@kgpatrick1 I saw them in Vancouver a month ago, huge dance floor full of bearded guys just rocking out. I watch the concert videos like the Caverns over and over
@@markmuth2498yeah, I can. Although the banjo isn’t frequently plays a fingerpicking style that does not sound typical for bluegrass. Definitely my favorite
I played Celtic fiddle and flute in my younger years but could never master the bluegrass style of fiddling. I’m now 77 and part disabled from a cycling accident. I do so miss my music making, so a huge thankyou for this uplifting music and amazing Appalachian scenic views. Wish I could visit but the busfare from Australia is too exy.

Saw them live for the first time last summer. That was one of the top concerts I've been to and I've been to a lot of concerts in my lifetime. Love the boys!

I met a woman in the hospital... and took her camping... she had NEVER been camping! blew my mind. I insisted she experience camping. On our drive to our spot I played Banjo Odyssey. she freaked out on me. I hope she had an experience. She don't talk to me anymore. I think I scared her. It was fun. She had never shit in the woods. My husband made her a chair to sit & poo thru.. cut up my chair for her! I love making memories.
Check out their live in Boston show.. similar staging and lighting. Shorter set but they were tighter and the camera work was perfect in that one. I Thibk the Audio quality was recorded slightly better in that one. Both great performances

When I was told about this music I thought it was bullshit but I realized it was about my past and went so deep it made my heart bleed for the old folks back home.
Boys and girls - this is what great talent looks like! They're like they just got in from the 19th century in a time machine. What a big, rich, textured sound they have - fronted by absolutely wonderful vocals - especially their front man.
Yeah, stumbled into them during full covid and played them for months straight, bluegrass with a bad ass edge! And Danny Colbert never stop the silly grins
Экое разгуляево! И все от души и при полном технически безупречном уровне исполнения, когда нет никаких ограничений по звуку и звукоизвлечению... Блеск.
The last time I felt this exhilarated by new-to-me music was when I first saw a video of Hillary Klug fiddling and clogging to "Cotton-Eyed Joe." Now, just like then, I thought the smile would break my face! Pure Appalachian bliss.
