This amazes me so much. When the update dropped I hopped right in and started a Death-Malice rogue playthrough, and let me tell you, It took, many, many tries to beat the exo mechs. Too see you having mastered the fight to such degree impresses me greatly. Love your content, keep up the great work.

Was watching this for some pointers so I can beat it myself but you have the whole world excavated for an arena and seemed to struggle a little... how am I supposed to do this with a normal world?
You can still fight it in a normal world just destroy every floating islands or planetoids and a few platforms no need to dig the entire world up btw im on revengence and it works pretty nicely
agreed-this fight is a bit overkill. for whom is this boss? maybe i sound like a giant puss, but why implementing a bossfight dat a large portion of the players cant beat? would be ok to do this if the boss was optional but as a final boss of the mod? this seems like gatekeeping and makes it so dat many ppl. wont complete the mod.
@@thetableguy22 let’s put it this way GP beat malice SCal a few hours after the update GP has yet to defeat malice Draedon due to the sheer difficulty. Hell, beta-testers couldn’t.

they really need to make this fight more... accessible? like, both Scal and Yharon limit the arena and they're both easy enough here, the dev team literally expected you to make your world the arena and it's still really fucking difficult thanks to thanatos snapping his neck like an owl to snipe you with the laser
I still don't get how dreadon is on the same tier as scal. I cannot come close to beating it and I have post scal tier equipment. Maybe it's just a new boss and I've been used to the same scal for what was 2 years I think at this point.
I feel ya man, I’ve only beaten them on multiplayer because you get to respawn as long as your teammate survives. Currently trying to beat them on death malice with post scal gear as ranger, but so far I’ve only managed to kill one mech before the rest eviscerate me.
If Thanatos wasn't here (I think it's the worm name), this would totally feels like a boss on the same tier as Scal, but because of him and his instant shot that seems like impossible to dodge if you don't have an entire world to fall, this fight seems harder than Scal

ares, apollo & artemis really easy to cheese if you have slime mount and a magic mirror or anything that teleports you somewhere far, basically dig a hole all the way to hell and literally just use your slime mount and since im a summoner i let my summons do the work(if you're not a summoner you might need to make the hole bigger so you can hit them) and when you reach the bottom just tp up and wait for them to come back and use the slime mount again to go down because since slime mount downwards is so fast the attack they do (Ares, Apollo & Artemis) and btw the laser downwards and sideward that Ares does you can just do the same thing tp up
like i understand why they did it. but it definitely needs a lot of work if, I understand correctly it tracks how much damage your doing within a certain amount of time and actively adds DR until eventually reaching zero then there's a timer that resets every time you hit it, you have to wait till the timer hits zero to deal damage again.
I actually beat it all i did was getting rid of like half of the planetoids and flatten out a fairly large portion of the map but ofc i died a few times but i killed it so it is possible to kill it without turning ur whole world into an arena

OK here's a challenge, I know that draedon is an extremely difficult fight even on normal, but do you think you could do it with only pre-providence weapons? You can keep the accesorys and armour but only pre-providence weapons. (I say pre-providence as anything below might actually be impossible)
as long as you deal more damage than the defence + dr of each boss, technically any weapon is possible as long as you are good at dodging. i saw a video where someone beat dog with the uzi

Personally the exo mechs needs some serious nerfs, there are many cheap hits, beating it without destroying the entire world is unbelievably time consuming, and don’t even get me started on malice mode.
iirc I used Cheat Sheet for this world specifically. The easiest way is to temporarily install Fargo's Soul Mod and cheat in the Universal Collapse bomb; it will destroy all the blocks in the world.
It's fun outside of malice, but I'm not a huge fan of needing this much vertical room to have any chance to dodge his attacks consistently (or maybe I just need more experience with the fight)
honestly the draedon superboos pisses me off, I finally beat supreme calamitas for the first time and then suddenly the update drops only a few days later, blocking the end-game gear which I could've gotten before the update, this boss is way too much and I refuse to play calamity again until it is nerfed, ((my main gripe being just how massive of an arena this boss requires to even stand a chance against))

i fought in my normal world , half of it to be exact , got the lowest elevation side , destroyed all of the floating islands and a bounding potion

For Thanatos, Dragon Rage is a very powerfull weapon when it use its final laser, you can kill it in 3 secondes

Hey man how were you able to moove the adrenaline/ rage bar? I cant do it after the updt
it changes it position after you reboot the game (if you changed x and y coords of bars of course)
In calamity settings you can change the x and y positions of the bars and can also unlock it(meaning you can move it with cursor)
