Endgame bosses in MoR may not be as difficult as the ones in Calamity on hardest difficulty, but they do feel much more intense, but at the same time, satisfying to fight
they have way more thought put into em imo, a lot of effort put into making sure they are intense but fun rather than just, "lol dodge this" type of stuff calamity throws at you

It's some "I am the door, and I am the key" type of stuff. A game that gives you the manual on how to beat it. Great design

Chlorophyte Bullets don't work well in this fight because of elemental resistances (Chlorophyte Bullets deal nature damage and Akka is resistant to Nature damage). Read up your elemental sheet!
Maybe it's just a coincidence but the fact that nebuleus yells their attacks out, and are a finale post-endgame boss, makes me think that this is a Ultrakill reference.
I got a new PC, so I was excited to try new mods I had trouble with before The _second boss_ had me playing Superhot I won though, moving in slow motion gave me time to react to his moveset while super undergeared
I've played MoR back in 1.3 and it looks like a lot has changed. I think Nebuleus is one of the coolest modded bosses I've ever fought and that was before the rework.
Just beat master mode ultimate nebuleus, shes probably the most fun ive had fighting a terraria boss! The attacks might look overwhealming, but once you learn how to dodge them they its just pattern recognition. They are very fair and balanced, theres no bs or cheap hits now that damage got balanced. btw the devs were kind enough to give infinite wing time during the ultimate form, so no insignia needed (I find insignia kinda cheating for mods with post-mo content so it didnt do much difference for me)
There was a rework for 1.4, but even before that rework Nebulous was still similar to the EoL, so I'd say there's no basis on the EoL here no matter what version of Nebulous you're talking about.
girus is gonna be fought before the Demigod, despite her apparent prevalence in the mod rn, her thing is more of a side story compared to the main story progression of the mod (though liden is pretty important in itself)
using the funny dolphin gun isn't really something i'd suggest, try using the Omega Obliterator's weapon - deals way more damage and you dont have to aim as much.
looks like re logic looked at this mod ant went: 'damn nebuleus looks really cool i wanna make it look different so no copy right and easier for my players so they do not rage quit, oh and hold up it had a second form lets do that for daytime, yes a perfect boss for our game!'
Me and my friend would Love to play this mod. But since its so new there are no guides for us to follow so we didnt know what to do I would absolutely LOVE YOU if you made a guide for different classes on mod of redemption.
Up on what switchy said, so far all weapons are working but certain particles arent. The portal where you meet the wayfarer is bugged and you have to view the cutscene in singleplayer, the cutscene for Erhan is bugged and Erhan won't spawn. The skull digger also can't spawn. The thorn and keeper bosses work like normal.
A little thing to think about when empress of light got mentioned: what came first Providence or Empress of light? If you know the answer than you know what i mean and if not, git gud
Bro I forgot about Ukko, Akka and Nebulous on my no cheat playthrough I had beaten all lab bosses ( obliteraters too) except Zero (the green and black thing) so I thought my playthrough mostly complete it turns out I still need to do theese 2 bosses on top of Zero
But we also battle against gods in calamity like the slime gods, the profane godest, the devour off gods(he is considered to be at a godly level because like in his name, he can devour(kill) gods, só that would basicaly make him a god in my opinion)
Those attacks dont really look that hard to dodge imo. Although I think Calamity is to blame for that. *Dodging every boss pretty easily even though I literally just got Terraria and tried out Calamity moment* P.S: expert+death, although i struggled alot on exo mechs because my potato computer could just barely handle them with massive lag spikes where im just frozen being frequent
Calamity is great, but it's slightly more quantity over quality compared to other mods. It's still very high quality though, almost all bosses are enjoyable and provide a reasonable challenge
@@doug2555 true. calamity is a bit quantity over quality, and you can really see it with some of the bs attacks from Yharon and DoG. scal and exo mechs are pretty good though.
DEFINITELY do Redemption first, way more forgiving and you won't miss out on much if you don't do harder difficulties, compared to Calamity which is fully designed around revengeance mode, which is very unforgiving toward newer players

If you have a good alignment, you can right click the neb summon to switch to summon her second form after beating her
