    I am so envious ! The sites you have covered (especially the marine locations) are so amazing, I just wish your mum and I could be with you. What a wonderful adventure you are sharing and it is revealing to all of us just how varied and interesting the coast of WA actually is. More please - looking forward to the next episode. Continue looking after Archie, who is the secret star of the show. Love Dad xxx

    Oh der nearly 2 weeks behind (we've been in the States..) loving the straight from "King Waves Kill" to snorkelling!! plus some fantastic underwater shots. Two questions. 1. I'm always intrigued by Australian ephemeral lakes and rivers - you crossed the Gascoyne river, was it flowing? 2. Regarding watching the Olympics, it made it sound like you are streaming this on the internet. Does Australia not have the equivalent of "freesat" that you could hook up to the caravan? p.s. good job with the off grid work.

      Haha thanks for the comment! There was a very small amount, but not a lot! It’s so hot here that most of the rivers are dry, but in the wet season after heavy rain may run for a week or two!! When we watched the olympics it was either through the caravan tv (if we have reception) or just via our mobile app using internet (when we had some), you can get wifi routers and things connected but we didn’t bother!! Thanks for watching as always!!!

      Thanks for watching!! The road in was pretty terrible, but the sand wasn’t too bad luckily so it was pretty easy! Getting there was the hard bit!!

    Hi it is Chris and Sarah from New Zealand. We have been following your travels and have just subscribed.
    We are looking to do two years starting 2023 and are now doing the planning. The one very tough part is our two dogs. You may have covered it and we know dogs can be restrictive but we would appreciate your experience with Archie and what we need to plan for. We know this could be a video on its own so just the big issues you have had is fine and maybe how has Archie coped? Chris

      Hey Chris. We have actually done a travelling with your dog video if you check our back catalogue.
      In summary, it is perfectly doable if you are prepared to plan ahead a little and spend some money on dog sitting.

      Take a look at the video and let me know if you have any specific questions 😊
      More than happy to help - could talk about dogs all day!! 😂🐕‍🦺

      Hi Chris & Ange!! We actually haven’t had a problem at all with dust so far, apart from a very small amount in certain places. We do have the positive pressure hatch but we haven’t used it yet! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

    I know you have mentioned that your van is semi off-road so I was wondering how it is handling all the corrugated roads you have been on? We also have a semi off-road and are trying to work out where we can go and places we will need to take off our list. Any tips you have would be great to hear.

    • @StaycationOz
      @StaycationOz  3 роки тому

      Hi Tracy! It’s been great handling what we’ve thrown at it so far, however we do go extremely slow if towing on corrugations! Also after a section of corrugations well jump in and just check everything is still in place. There are a few screws which come loose though, so every now and then I’ll go around and check as many as I can, inside and out, as well as the wheel nuts! We’ve had a few handles and sink plugs unscrew themselves from the corrugations!
