Patrick, my fellow Dogma fanatic, any chance for a DD2 spoilercast/deep dive podcasts? Obviously it won't be as story heavy as Alan Wake 2, but we've waited 12 years! I'd love to hear about everyone's emergent adventures and compare them with my own
Great to see Austin again!!! Much like Elden Ring, this will be a game where I ignore the internet, grab an adventuring journal (notebook) and my trusty quill (Pilot G-2 pen) and treat each session like I'm in character in a D&D campaign. I'll take notes on NPCs I've met, quests I've found, rumors picked up in taverns, landmarks and places on the map I need to explore, advice from various pawns, etc. That was how I played my entire first run of Elden Ring, avoiding all reviews, guides, streams and videos until after I rolled credits, and it made it one of the most memorable and personal gaming experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend doing the same with Dragon's Dogma 2!
I honestly sadly can’t stop myself from looking at every bit of preview that comes out on UA-cam cuz I’m so obsessed over the game, but as soon as it comes out I’ll definitely not watch any “how to” videos or anything like that, I also want to figure out everything organically. But I never thought about keeping notes on stuff as I play , I’ll definitely be doing that now , thanks for the idea !
"Dragon's Dogma is about loneliness" well I guess that explains why Dragon's Dogma hit me like a ton of bricks when I beat it for the first time this year. Anytime my friends asked why I couldn't stop talking about DD, I couldn't really describe why but now it makes sense. I was absolutely the kid who couldn't get a DnD group together in junior high, and as an adult scheduling sessions is an absolute nightmare. I literally beat DD during a few week hiatus in my group's weekly session.
Man, finally some passionate real fans who really share new details about this game and also play the first game. Not like all the other UA-camrs who repeat the same Bullshit script just to get some views or just because capcom choose the wrong people to try this game early. AMAZING CONTENT, KEEP IT UP GUYS👌👌
I am so excited for DD2 but what I really want to say is that Austin and Co from AMCA (which I found via Jeff Grubb) lured me into their content thru the intelligent hilarity of their conversations that makes me laugh and reflect on the world critically. Since then I have been pulled into lots of adjacent podcast content on Remap, Shelved by Genre, Just King Things, Friends at the Table, Mages and Murderdads, etc. and have been enjoying them all for what they are brining into the world. Thank you for your commitment and passion across all these media forms - not too mention your perspectives on the social/political/economic states of the world we live in. What a wonderful community of people you all are.
Kudos to you Austin, this is the most competent combat I've seen of this game and I wouldn't expect anything less lol. I can't friggin wait for this game!
YESSSS, fellow dogma heads unite!!! DD1 is one of my all time faves & I still CANNOT believe DD2 is a real thing, let alone that i'm gonna play it in little over 2 weeks. Going in blind tho & updating the Blocktube add-on with DD keywords (btw. everyone should be using blocktube if you wanna avoid youtube spoilers for games, it's a life changer!)
As someone who absolutely hated inventory weight management in the first game, the idea of a pawn that will take care of that for me sounds absolutely amazing lol.
Gonna be deep deep into FF7 Rebirth between here and then but man I'm so excited for DD2, I'm glad it looks good and just as weird as the first game. I never finished the first so I never found out what the big weird ending is but I feel like DD2 will supplant DD1 as the game to play. Also, excited to see what they learned from MH World and similar games since then, Ik the combat designed went to SQE but still.
If this thing runs well on the Steam Deck, that may well be it for me and the outside world. Dragon's Dogma 2 and Unicorn Overlord should absolutely not be allowed to come out in the same month. They government needs to step in and save me from myself.
I wouldn't get your hopes up for Steam Deck performance seeing that the PS5 version is apparently an unstable 30fps, but maybe with settings tweaked it could be fine. Also excited for UO, that demo was amazing.
When an NPC die, You can go to the morge and revive him/her with a wakestone, the quests Will be on/active again. If You wait to much, the NPC will go to the cemetery, then they are dead for the rest of the Game.
I'm glad to hear this talk. Always nice to see and hear Austin. A little bit unfortunate that the audio mixing is a bit off. I kind of have to ride the volume controls to hear Patrick, and then back down again to not further damage my eardrums when Austin is talking.
I have 2 questions: can you change skills while adventuring? (Like when it becomes night time i would use my flare arrows as magick archer). Question 2: does the healing arrows of magick archer heal your player too by shooting the ground or something?
The worst thing about this game is when one of your pawns start using magic on a huge enemy, it’s hard to see wtf you’re doing because of all the colorful effects if you’re a fighter.
Anything about difficulty? DD1 was never really hard, but had difficult yet manageable moments - are there difficulty settings in DD2? I only read Itsuno talk about dynamic difficulty. I hope it's not as difficult as souls games, I don't want my beloved Dogma turning into yet another souls-like.... even tho I love FROM, but here i just wanna feel ultra powerful eventually like in DD1.
I think the meta will be to start as a fighter to get the best armor then switch to whatever vocation you want to play. Obviously make your character tall and fat so he can have a large carrying capacity
PAPA BEAR!?
PAPA BEAR!!!
Hijacking my own comment to say you're looking good Austin! I have that shirt too, and it rocks.
Glad to see you here and I'm excited for DD2!
yeah what's up
I’ll never tire of Austin walker saying something is “wiilllld”
Glad everyone enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed coordinating it
there's still time for a DD 101 before the sequel's out, right? riiight??

Haha, probably not. I'm even going to be *gone* the week this comes out, but promise, we'll record something -pk@@mikebooker2401
if you give me until the end of the year like Elden Ring, lol, yes, I promise -pk@@mattevanst4967

Man, that's pretty awesome. I'll try to do that, thanks for the idea :D
I want to keep a chronicle of events in a similar way. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles style but with more flair. ^^
BatChest. Better play first game to understand that you just imagine game that's never exist dude

:) Always lovely to see Austin, and getting to hear him talk about Dragon's Dogma 2 makes it even better
Never enough Austin Walker. Love to see it. 🙌🏾
Welcome back, Vice's New Gaming Podcast (Vice City in our hearts).
damn, that's a good throwback
@@RemapRadio Nothing but love 🫡🙏🏽💙
44:45 is the sole reason why I ever gave Dragon's Dogma a chance & now DD is one of my favorite games of all time, haha. Thanks Patrick
"hanging out is a key thing in this game" SOLD
absolutely just paused the video there to come and comment the same god damn thing hahahaha, i fucking LOVE a hangout game
Absolutely thrilled to hear Austin Walker's comprehensive coverage of the Dragon's Dogma 2 demo. Beyond hyped for this game.
I get Austin from like three other sources by now, but I always love seeing him doing remap stuff
best commentary/footage ive seen on DD2 yet. thanks guys :)
HI AUSTIN WALKER!!!! 😁
I will never get tired of listening to Austin talk about video games 🙌
Man, finally some passionate real fans who really share new details about this game and also play the first game. Not like all the other UA-camrs who repeat the same Bullshit script just to get some views or just because capcom choose the wrong people to try this game early.
AMAZING CONTENT, KEEP IT UP GUYS👌👌
I would have loved if Austin replaced his missing audio with him trying to recreate the sounds acapella.
WHAT'S GOOD INTERNET! So happy to see Austin
I'm excited to see Austin join for this hot preview scoop.
Mappin' the DD with Scoops and the Bear
whats good internet (this. this is)
Thank you! Austin is one of the few people I wanted to hear impressions from Dragon's Dogma (possibly 2). Great video all around.
20:00 that ricochet skill looks insanely cool
THE PROFESSOR IS BACK
The only person I trust with Dragon's Dogma shit
Austin is simply a delightful human being. 😊
I knew it when I saw it teased on the schedule. Hell yeah.
THE WIND IS PUSHING MEEEEEEEEEEEEE
TIME IS RUNNING FREEEEEEE
i started cracking up out loud at the 21 minute mark bravo
Rift Stone of Dudes Who Shouldve Hooped
SO GOOD TO SEE AUSTIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY GOAT!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful community of people you all are.
That looks great. The true spirit of the Cliff Racer lives on!
Omg Austin!!! Love him so much and so happy this showed up on my Home page ❤
one of the great gamers
This is everything I wanted from a sequel. Can't wait.
Kudos to you Austin, this is the most competent combat I've seen of this game and I wouldn't expect anything less lol. I can't friggin wait for this game!
Great chat, Austin is pure entertainment to listen to!
HELL YES
The-Boys-are-Back-in-Town.mp3
One minute in and I cannot handle "Lion Bob Ross." What a character design!
Can not wait for this game. Great to see Austin. Always happy to be infected by him being hyped.
AKA Papa Bear
im not going to watch this because i wanna go in blind... but this is so FUCKING HYPE
Love that you guy's actually know what ur talking about
Fuck yeah
Love how this looks, love Austin. Hell yeah.
This game is gonna be something truly special.
YESSSS, fellow dogma heads unite!!! DD1 is one of my all time faves & I still CANNOT believe DD2 is a real thing, let alone that i'm gonna play it in little over 2 weeks. The GOAT 🔥🔥🔥
21:33 It's very good footage.
As someone who absolutely hated inventory weight management in the first game, the idea of a pawn that will take care of that for me sounds absolutely amazing lol.
I missed the first one, so excited for this.
Whoah! This guy knows his stuff!!
For three hours!? Holy shit that’s longer than I’ve ever done anything in my entire life!
This was awesome, thank you 🙏
I'd love to see co-op in dd. Just allowing a another local player to control the pawns, would still be super fun and worth the effort.
Gonna be deep deep into FF7 Rebirth between here and then but man I'm so excited for DD2, I'm glad it looks good and just as weird as the first game.

Was that FMV of a steak???
Austin!! 🎉
Fantastic video.
Wtf this game looks sick
papa bear :')
9:30 you're telling me this isn't just FMV of real meat being cooked????
If this thing runs well on the Steam Deck, that may well be it for me and the outside world.
Dragon's Dogma 2 and Unicorn Overlord should absolutely not be allowed to come out in the same month. They government needs to step in and save me from myself.

9:30 ... This might be the most important addition to any game of all time... *cough* excuse me...
Austin 🥺🥺
yoooo austin :D
I only have one question:
Do goblins still ill-like fire?
Telekinesis, glowing double sided weapon, dashing, and energy blasts. Is the Magic Spearhand just a Jedi?
Anyone got a link to the podcast from last year where they talked about DD2?
I'm glad to hear this talk. Always nice to see and hear Austin.
A little bit unfortunate that the audio mixing is a bit off. I kind of have to ride the volume controls to hear Patrick, and then back down again to not further damage my eardrums when Austin is talking.
Damn right
The lisan al gaib has returned
I have 2 questions: can you change skills while adventuring? (Like when it becomes night time i would use my flare arrows as magick archer). Question 2: does the healing arrows of magick archer heal your player too by shooting the ground or something?
Which class is the one where you can teleport above an enemy and strike from above?!
The worst thing about this game is when one of your pawns start using magic on a huge enemy, it’s hard to see wtf you’re doing because of all the colorful effects if you’re a fighter.
Patrick outs himself as a bad Pawn dad.

I keep seeing videos of all the people that tried out the demo and they wouldn’t stop getting bodied honestly , I’m pretty sure is decently difficult.
YOOOOOO
Is this going to be on the podcast feed?
I might have Cado sneak it onto the end of Remap Radio? -pk
What's an "Austin Walker"? Is that like a dog walker but for Austins?
Trickster tricky colours
Y’all need to get your SEO together (or whatever I’m ignorant )! It was way too hard for me to find this video
I only found it via Austin's twitter
Ogres just hanging out during the day is kinda lame. I'm glad night time is still dark. A lot newer games you can see perfectly fine at night.
Super let down by the battle and ambient music that I've heard so far in DD2. The first game had some incredible music.
Damn OK. I wasn't really sold on DD2 cause I'm bummed this series still isn't just 2 or 4 player coop but that does look cool.
Thank God is single player
Good, we don't want Dragon's Dogma to be multiplayer. Go play your Fortnite garbage.
They completely botched the armor system for this one
I think the meta will be to start as a fighter to get the best armor then switch to whatever vocation you want to play. Obviously make your character tall and fat so he can have a large carrying capacity
I only have 20 minutes
time failing quests is bad gameplay. fomo questing sucks
I just realized no daggers mean MA probably doesn't have Immolation anymore. Game's officially bad :,(
the fights take forever zzzzzzzz
