If she's in a community of racers, they all want her to learn and do better
so she doesn't block them or wreck them.. helping others helps them.

I definitely think 2025 is going to be a massive learning curve getting use to car and new tracks but I do see her getting a couple of top ten and maybe one top 5. Overall I definitely think she is going to fit in and have more success with indy and open wheel racing. Plus she going to access to more data, more test and practice session and she will have more female drivers to lean on for support and advice. Also drivers can't intentionally wreck like in nascar.

I got to give have hailie credit she never gives up on herself and is not Afraid to take chances and try her hand at different types of racing. I also love the fact that she always seems to be so positive and is always having a positive mindset. PS even if she doesn't do good in her 1st year in indy NXT I'm not going to hold that against her because after all she needs Time to develop, get use to the car, new tracks and everything else. I will always support her and root for her no matter what.

I don't understand the argument of her struggling in Xfinity being a result of AM Racing having bad equipment. Even if they don't have bad equipment, it's not like Hailie is some unproven commodity who never had an opportunity in great equipment. She spent 3 years in trucks (1 season of which she drove championship winning equipment) and didn't accomplish anything of note. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she is a bad driver, but she certainly wasn't among the most talented prospects in the sport within the last few years. And there is nothing wrong with that. She was more than capable of holding her own and getting solid results. I'm just saying AM Racing shouldn't be to blame for things not working out for her in the sport. Especially when she drove for Thorsport in trucks in 2023 and didn't improve her performance from previous years.

Kyle, why no background noise when asking these generic questions? I really liked her when she drove those baddass offroad trucks. I also liked her in ARCA, she dished it out but never complained if she got dumped on the last lap or two. I bought her merch just as I did for Danica, I wish drivers didn't get moved up too soon, she should've stayed in the trucks longer, in my opinion. Great interview on both sides. I think people tend to forget how young Hailie really is and she is doing a great job on the business side and the racing side she's excellent at it. I tell you what there's not a lot of people that would get involved in as many things as she has, some stranger off the street can't just jump in the car and drive. I wish Hailie the best in here endeavors I believe one day she will shine brighter than she ever has before.

Great interview Kyle! Direct questions that pulled out thoughts that we as fans have been wondering about. It would be nice if you could stay in touch with her career path as she goes forward in IndyNXT. By the way, your adding the questions in worked great. Hearing the question (in advance - no background noise), seriously helped listening to Hallie’s answers as the cars were driving by. Even though we needed to pay close attention to her answer, the fact that we did not have to struggle understanding the question, really helped.

Female drivers have a better chance to be competitive in open wheel racing. Because the guys can’t crash into them, w/o putting themselves at risk.
The one criticism I have about her efforts in NASCAR, was. She didn’t seem to be focused enough. I enjoy her UA-cam content but to me just didn’t seem to be serious enough to make it.

im no fan of hers, i'll leave it at that. There are a few "pretty good" ladies in truck and ARCA. The "REALLY GOOD" ladies in in the dirt/lower pavement series. Most know Jade Avedisian and Kaylee Bryson. Kaylee in the USAC Silver crowns was Rookie of the year AND finished in top 5 points last year. First female AND i think...first Rookie period to finish top 5. Earlier this year won her first Silver crown race. She raced more in Trans Am roadracing this year AND just one the Championship in her SGT class, and Rookie of the year. Jade has won several midget series as well as other series AND a national champ in Midgets last year i believe. They both started young like several ladies and know how to race, AND race the track...not running over people. I think there is a huge wave of talented ladies moving up. From watching Brysons in car on road courses,..i honestly think she could handle a ARCA or possibly a Xfinity on a course. I think her Vette even has same type transmission as cup. It is a sequential shifter type,...click back upshft, click forward downshift.

She has been asked about her departure from AM Racing in several interviews but she always shies away from the subject matter. Kyle you being a journalist should have asked some harder question to have Hailie open up about the subject matter. I found out that AM Racing forced Hailie to sign an NDA to keep her quiet about certain aspects of AM Racing and the team owner. If she didn't sign it she wouldn't have received the balance of the money owed to her from her contract. Kinda of a legal way to blackmail someone. The team owner could give two shits whether this team wins or loses, he's just using it as a big tax write-off. All the sponsors on that car, are his companies. And the whole time this is going on Ford has been totally quite.........

Check out her run in SRX. There she was allowed to actually compete. She was raced hard by some of the best drivers in Motorsports and she was running up front. She was also roughed up by several Indy, Dirt, and NASCAR drivers and still contended for the win. She then placed second behind Stewart at Eldora in a backup car. I don't think she was let go from AM Racing, I think she quit. I also think she should have never left Toyota development driving. She should have never took the bait from Ford. I think she now realizes her mistake. You might be right, she could fade into the obscurity of Indy car.
