We discovered (my 6 year old daughter and I) your channel about a month ago. We have watched about 90% of your videos and we love them. My family is from Southwest Nebraska and every time I see the Cornhuskers shirts or things it makes my heart so happy. I Live in Utah and I miss home so much.
I got stung on the back of my neck with a wasp and it hurt so,so bad! And it hurt for weeks and itches as it was healing! Bless her heart. Seth is scrumptious, I could just kiss those sweet cheeks. He’s a beautiful baby. Love y’all from Kentucky!

I love watching your family! I used to enjoy my summers with my kids. And usually the neighborhood kids were at my house lot of the time in summer. I had Eight children and they had many friend. Now they are grown with children of their own. The talk about all their good childhood memories . I miss those days!

For the people who disliked this video, the only thing I can think of is, you are jealous! Sarah, I like where you moved your couch that was by the sliding door. I love how your kids have chores to do. There is nothing wrong with that at all. More parents should be like you and Solo. All of your kids are adorable, but there's something about Destiny that I just love. She's the type of kid you could just pick up and squeeze her little cheeks. You and Solo should be very proud of the family you are raising. I just can't tell you how amazed I am at how wonderful the two of you are as parents. God Bless you and your family.

My first go-to for pain is always ice. I only had 4 kids, but it seemed like there was always something happening. You two are good parents, keep up the good job

I worked as a School nurse and ice was my secret weapon when the little ones would come in to the clinic for bumps and little scrapes....made them a small ice pack and everything was better! TY for sharing moments of your lives with us!! 💖😀💐
Freeze pops are awesome too! Especially for mouth injuries like bloody or swollen lips.
That pool was such a good investment for your family, the kids love it, and use it so much. Now for the warm weather. It has been cold here, in New England, I still had the heat on last night. I just want to say how much I love your channel. I'm not religious in anyway but it's lovely to watch and follow you and your wonderful family. I suffer with ill health and the highest risk so under the shielding act in the uk. I have been in isolation for 10 weeks already and can't go out until the earliest of July 31st. It may have to be until the end of the year. You give me joy and smile everytime I watch your family. Sarah and Solo you are amazing parents and amazing people for everything you do to devote your time to helping people 🙏😊

When I was 5 I stepped on a wasp nest and got 25 stings. My mom put me in the bathtub with a box of baking soda. I lived. We usually make a paste with baking soda and water. Make it thick like mud and apply it.
Putting a damp teabag in the sting can also help the pain. Something to do with the tannins in the tea? Am not sure, but it's supposed to help ease the pain.
Have you ever thought of getting Belles hair shaped? Her hair is beautiful and the trim will define her curls even more!
Sarah, let the green onions go to seed at the end of the growing season, collect the seeds and plant in the spring for even more green onions

A couple of tips about container gardening:
1. Lettuce and greens don't do so well in the heat. They tend to get stressed, become bitter and go to seed early.
You might want to move them where they're in the shade in the afternoon. Also, you might want to put something under the container so that the hot patio doesn't transfer the heat into the container.
2. Tomatoes *love* the heat, so having them out in the open and on the cement patio is a good choice.
It'll be important though to water consistently (not too much or too little), otherwise they might cause cracking of the skins.
When you do water, please try to not get it on the leaves or splash dirt onto the leaves. Both can cause diseases to form on the leaves. (Tomatoes seem to have a weakness for that.)
I've read that some people cut off the top 1/3rd of a pop bottle and use that as a funnel for watering their tomato plants. It channels the water directly into the soil, reducing risk of disease.

you can also 're-grow' celery. keep peppermint in a container as it spreads like crazy and will take over the garden bed...strawberries also spread so need their own enclosed patch!
moonshayde yes, the strawberries need lots of room because their feelers wander. Also, the feelers need to be cut back to control how much they spread. If Sara/Solo, puts hay around the strawberries and water them, the hay will help keep the plants moist and don’t need watering every day. It is very easy to over water and will impede the plant growth. Also, there will be very few strawberries this year but next year, hopefully, they should produce quite a harvest!
It’s hard to believe that I haven’t left my apartment in 10 weeks. Time isn’t standing still though, so we will make it thru this. Thank God I have a great caregiver who does all my shopping, paying bills, and walking my dog. I am blessed.
Seth is getting so big and handsome, I must say you and Solo make beautiful babies 😊😊.

I know that we use white vinegar for jellyfish stings in Hawaii. Don't know if that would help a sting from a wasp. Noelle is such a fashionista. I love it. 👍
I had my 5 grandchildren ages 2, 4, 7, 10 and 12 here yesterday. First time since quarantine began. It was LOUD and chaotic but great. We baked, played and had a great time.

You can also regrow all of the onions, you cut the bottom 1/3 rd. off of the onion & put the root end in the water & change the water every 3 days till you see roots. When you see the white little new roots put them in potting soil & lightly water. You can regrow celery by putting in water all so.

Glad you got into gardening. It’s so much fun watching vegetables grow and they taste so much better! I put two tomato plants in the ground this year because last year they got root bound too fast in their pots. I’m also trying cucumbers this year. 🥰
peppermint is invasive will choke out everything you plant it with better in a pot on it's own and needs lots of water - also cilantro in pots but for the summer left in the shade or they will bolt (go to seed fast) - dry the seeds for the following year could be a home school lesson there - I hope you enjoyed Mother Day - house is not that bad 12 people live in that house you have to live and have fun and make memories

I could honestly sit and watch you guys for hours! Lol! Poor Belle...I recently got bit by a spider on the side of my nose (close to my eye) and it immediately swelled up and was SO painful! I hate stings or bites. That veggie casserole looked SO delicious, especially with tortilla chips. God bless you guys!
There are 2 things you can do. If the stinger is not in, aloe vera is a great way to take the burn and pain out. If the stinger is still in, use meat tenderizer with water and make a paste for it.
Celery, romaine lettuce, onions, and carrots you can plant in water to start roots then plant in dirt for more nutrients.

If you plant them in dirt they don't grow very well but if you leave them in a glass they will grow all year long . you will have them for ever!! I am going to container garden. I will be using plastic bins 14qt. Because they are less expensive & have lids so at end of season clean out , mix in manure and put lid back on put up in shed til next season. Cross fingers hope it works.

I see so many parents freaking out and feeling stressed but you have been doing it for so long and seem to have a great system. Ive seen people say their kindergarteners have 4-7 hrs of work everyday and i CRINGE. You are a huge inspiration and help with parenting. Much 🖤✌
