My great uncle, my grandmother's brother, wanted to join the Marine Corps when Pearl Harbor was attacked. He couldn't because he was 16 at the time but as soon as he turned 18 he joined up. He was killed in Iwo Jima.
Here's a fact, the actual start of Pacific Theater is actually in Malaysia with the Japanese invasion of Malaya which began 30 minutes before the attack on Pearl Harbor
I feel your frustration with kids not remembering war heroes, since there are some who were also involved in the following that we should remember as well Vietnam war Panama invasion Gulf war Battle of Mogadishu
MoH Pacific Assault is one of my favourite MoH Games I’ve played. You’re gonna really enjoy this game. At times the game feels like CoD WaW in the Pacific Campaign but as a rated T game. Can’t wait to see you experience it a lot more since this is the closest thing to also a sequel to MoH Rising Sun which I know you wish they made. But great playthrough looking forward to much more of the historical talk in the next MoH Pacfic Assault playthrough.
I can't remember what it's called but I played one with better graphics and it was also set in the Pacific. I loved it as a kid, I think I played it on my PS2, possibly the 360 but it was so good and made me understand war pretty well as a young child.
My old man was on The New York BB34 in WWII. No way I could have done that. Living at sea while hunting and fighting other fire breathing sea monsters!
The man in charge of the Betio landing led with i believe a bullet in his neck the whole two days and spoke out against the military industrial complex after the war man's name was David M Shoup
Oh the army still does the machine gun crawling thing with live ammunition. That’s the NIC course. But it’s extremely safe. The guns are so high up that even if you stood up and jumped you wouldn’t be hit.
And with that rifle spinning in the Pearl Harbor level, that's enough to make the gun spinning Ocelot does in the Metal Gear series look like child's play
What also made the attack on Pearl Harbor also not a complete success for Japan was because they mostly attacked the ships but not the repair yards, war factories, fuel refineries and tanks or the submarines which were underground.
@@DKrueger1994 Yup, so despite the destruction and deaths they caused the attack was anything but a great success. Of course later on you had the famous battle off midway in which all off the Japanese aircraft carriers and dozens off other ships got sunk. So by that point the Japanese navy was gone.
Hey pro! I just stumbled upon ur Channel for the first time the other day with the GTA IV lore videos! Which by the way are some of the very best , most well researched on the topics at hand!! Thanks for doing what U do my friend, may 2024 be kind to U & have the algorithm help get your name out there! Good shit man !!
My friends mom’s dad was on board the USS Oklahoma when it keeled over and capsized and was one of the lucky few that survived it. His dad’s dad was actual on Pearl on shore patrol When the Japanese and survived by hiding under a fuel truck
This was the first game to my knowledge that used active ragdolls, years before they were made popular by things like Euphoria in GTA4. They don’t always activate when you kill enemies but you will eventually notice, especially when shot with BAR or rifle rounds.
Pro the reason the marines didn't get Garands is because marine high command believed bolt actions will win the war and that the Garand was a waste of resources
This is one of the saddest moments in America. It's a shame Is That some people didn't like the video to show that they interested. But there's my first time actually watching a gameplay of a metal of honor video Since I had no desire to but I'd gave it a shot and now I'll have to go back and watch the previous games of the game play. Come to this hopefully we get a part 2 of this but man this is a great game
Professional when will you do Medal Of Honor Tier 1? It’s the first modern Medal of Honor! Insanely underrated game! Also quick history the same guys who made Medal of Honor would go on to create Battlefield and most famously of all Call Of Duty!
Really looking forward to this! Always great to see you play more Medal of Honor games! Just one thing though, the main character's name is Thomas Conlin, not Conklin as you put in the video description ;)
Finally Best moh ever i played hope you have fun through this series 😄 Edit Naah I Hope Pro Have Through The Playthrough Have On every diffrent time cosplay 😆😄
I fear we’ve woken a sleeping giant! Man the United States back in the day was a beast to have someone like one of Japan generals to say that. Now we have been a joke.

Did he ever send any letters over?
I am very sorry for your loss. Its terrible what he went through. Iwo Jima was one of the most brutal battles in the pacific.
New Professional playthrough at 3AM goes hard tbh
Fr, im loving these
The classic professional uploading scheme.
Imagine him and you lost it to a woman
We will never forget Pearl Harbor, and other places attacked on that fateful day. Thanks for commemorating Pro!
Never forget 9/11 too
Hey professional, I’ve been watching you for years now. I’ve even moved to a different country. I just wanna say, thank you for everything.
I used to play this game! It really was one of the best games I’ve played growing up!
Funfact: the guy who voiced Jimmy (medic) in this game also voiced Dominic Corleone in Godfather 2 video game.

I feel your frustration with kids not remembering war heroes, since there are some who were also involved in the following that we should remember as well
Vietnam war
Panama invasion
Gulf war
Battle of Mogadishu
3 player coop with my brothers was great as a kid
World War II game + History lessons = My favorite kind of Professional content.
Best tutorial in game no question, pearl harbor mission while you get driven around is legendary

The cosplay is iconic! Great episode!
53:41 - "someone get me on a damn plane"
That's a reference to the Pearl Harbor movie.

It's one of my favourite games in junior high.
I really hope we see another part soon, your Medal Of Honour play throughs are my favourite.
The battle of pearl harbor also prefers to the movie called "Midway"
I've never played the Medal of Honor games before, so this makes me all the more excited for this game, Pro
Good choice for the Anniversary!
My old man was on The New York BB34 in WWII. No way I could have done that. Living at sea while hunting and fighting other fire breathing sea monsters!
Anyone remember going up against that the top G sushi chef with the katana in the last MoH rising sun level?
The man in charge of the Betio landing led with i believe a bullet in his neck the whole two days and spoke out against the military industrial complex after the war man's name was David M Shoup
I love these older war games. This is actually a really good game!
Oh the army still does the machine gun crawling thing with live ammunition. That’s the NIC course. But it’s extremely safe. The guns are so high up that even if you stood up and jumped you wouldn’t be hit.
I really love how your playthroughs are educational as well. Keep up the great work, Professional.
Keep up the good work, Professional and we praise of your videos
That's so cool a New Playtrough i played this Game but it was a long time ago so it's Awesome you play this👍👍👍
Your playthroughs are very entertaining
You’re right. Just listing to his voice explaining history and stuff.
53:09 actually you get hero moment if you back to first door (at 52:47 but to the left), then open the door with Axe and rescue a XO to medic
Despite losing three ships, the rest that were damaged or sunk were refloated, repaired, and returned to service.
@@DKrueger1994 Yup, so despite the destruction and deaths they caused the attack was anything but a great success.

Even Funny Things Is Medic Kept Vomiting While Healing Your Player Is So Funny TheProfessional
41:40 reminds me of black cats from World at War where you have to save sailors and destroy zeros
you are different from other UA-camrs and I like it.
My friends mom’s dad was on board the USS Oklahoma when it keeled over and capsized and was one of the lucky few that survived it. His dad’s dad was actual on Pearl on shore patrol When the Japanese and survived by hiding under a fuel truck
Been waiting a long time for this one professional thanks for getting around to it

59:02 in my opinion, FDR is the 2nd Greatest American President and leader ever.
Washington is first.
@@elperrodelautumo7511 he had the hardest presidency ever imo. And still managed to set the standard for this thing of ours
Could you play Medal of Honor: Airborne after this and Bully?

I fear we’ve woken a sleeping giant!
Man the United States back in the day was a beast to have someone like one of Japan generals to say that. Now we have been a joke.
