      Exactly why Islamism must be addressed in the Western World. Our youth needs to be educated on their supremacy, but instead they are indoctrinated to support it.

      Exactly right! Perfect example is the Pact of 'Umar, an agreement between the Islamic state and the dhimmis, included laws that distinguished non-Muslims from Muslims in social interactions, limited non-Muslim behavior, and emphasized the social superiority of Muslims.

    Often when there is dissent expressed in the United States against policies of the Israeli government, people here are called anti-Semitic. What is your response to that as an Israeli Jew? Shulamit Aloni replied: “Well, it’s a trick, we always use it. When from Europe somebody is criticizing Israel, then we bring up the Holocaust. When in this country people are criticizing Israel, then they are anti-Semitic.” - Former Israeli Minister of Education Shulamit Alone

      it depends on what you mean by "criticizing Israel". do you think that Israel should do nothing after the October 7 massacre? do you think we should say thank you to our aggressors and invite them to a 2nd round of killing, mutilating and raping men, women and babies? do you think all the jews in Israel should pack their things, "return to Europe" and give all the land to Hamas and the Jihadi community? you know, anti-Zionism is not just criticism of Israel it's the demonization of the jewish state to oblivion and their people at default. so i don't care if anti-Zionism is or isn't antisemitism, but 99% of antizionist ARE antisemites. are you one of those?

      No, no one says that opposing policies is anti-semitic. As Sharansky has said, it's anti-semitic when it includes one of the 3 D's: delegitimization, demonization, and double standards. As to Aloni, that's like quoting Jill Stein and considering that to be representative of the US.

    I was curious whether the talk might have any real substance, such as a serious discussion of whether a permanent Jewish-only "right of return" could possibly be compatible with equal rights - whether basing immigration policy on racial classification can ever be justified, particularly when that racial classification is based on religious mythology (i.e., the consensus among modern historians being that stories of Moses, Egypt, and "chosen people" are fiction rather than historical fact).
    But the talk was like a white supremacist arguing that white people can only be safe if there are government policies of segregation and discrimination against non-white people - but, instead, that Jewish people can only be safe if there are government policies of segregation and discrimination against non-Jewish people. And, instead of a list of horrible crimes that non-white individuals have committed against white individuals, along with hyperbolic claims of how much non-white people hate white people - there was a list of horrible crimes that non-Jewish individuals have committed against Jewish individuals, along with hyperbolic claims of how much non-Jewish people hate Jewish people.
    Why is it so hard to understand that individuals are not good or bad because of their racial classification, and that individuals should not be treated differently based on their racial classification? In fact, it is precisely those ideologies that falsely claim that racial differences are somehow real and fundamental, and that individuals should of different races should be treated differently, that lead to horrific outcomes like apartheid and genocide.

      I wonder if you apply the same argument to the Muslim countries where you know there is no way they will let themselves get overrun by Jews or Christians, or any other group.
      Additionally, if the law of taken were to allow everyone equal access to coming to Israel, it would defeat the point of having a Jewish state. There is but one Jewish state in the world, and we are less than one percent of the world's population.

    • @WestleySherman
      @WestleySherman 2 місяці тому

      @@kimberlyburdge649 For somewhere around a century, millions of non-Jewish people have been subjected to vicious racist persecution by Israel and Zionists, generally. The one "little" Jewish state has caused and is causing (e.g., plausible genocide) horrific suffering in the world - while engaging in outrageous victim-blaming, much like a bank robber claiming to have shot the security guard self-defense.
      Much of US history is very dark. Many of the "founding fathers" owned slaves. The early history of the USA is a history vicious racist of persecution and ethnic cleansing and, quite plausibly, even genocide against the Native Americans.
      But there have been lights in that darkness. In his address at the Battle of Gettysburg where the tide had finally turned against those fighting to continue the institution of slavery, Abraham Lincoln asserted that the USA should have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people - that no group should have disproportionate control of the government - that the US government should not be controlled by a hereditary ruling class (aristocracy), nor a particular race (apartheid), nor a particular religion (theocracy).
      And, more recently, Martin Luther King Jr. asserted that individuals should be judged on the content of their character rather than the color of their skin - that individuals should not be treated differently on the basis of some sort of racial classification.
      And so now, with good reason, white supremacists are deeply unpopular in almost all parts of the USA. But Zionism is to Jewish people what white supremacy is to white people. White supremacists claim that white people can only be safe and prosper if there is segregation and discrimination against non-white people (with Jewish people generally considered to be non-white). And Zionists claim that Jewish people can only be safe if there is segregation and discrimination against non-Jewish people.
      Many countries in the Middle East do not share (modern) US values that oppose racial and religious discrimination, and that believe that countries should be diverse, inclusive, pluralistic multi-racial, multi-religious, etc. And, partially for that reason, the USA treats these Middle Eastern countries rather badly. Does Israel want the USA to treat it the way the USA treats Iran or Iraq?
      If Israel and its supporters continue down the path of bigotry, segregation, discrimination, persecution, apartheid and, plausibly, genocide against people who are not Jewish then Israel and its supporters should expect to become deeply unpopular in much the same way that white supremacists are deeply unpopular.
