My late, great friend, Dave Berryman was, like me an ardent fan of The Moody Blues. His second favourite band was The Alan Parsons Project and he tried to get me interested but I declined. How I regret ignoring him. Alan Parsons is a genius. Bezzy and I could have had some wonderful conversations about this music.
I love the contrast of the amazing band pouring their heart and soul into their instruments, whilst Alan Parsons remains the powerful, solemn, unwaivering rock in the middle of it all. What a masterpiece!
OMG, never cease to amaze at discovering something new from these guys. What a beautiful song, and love, love, love Alan's singing, even if I appear to be in the minority
alan found a way to print a lot of soul into this ,back then, techno sound into a rock setting. 40 years later ,we can say his music walked across the years fully intact, still highly relevant, and still carrying this soul he printed deeply rooted into his music. i hope the youngests will be able to understand what his music is all about.love.
A Band..an assembly of folk with the aim of presenting musical art. This presentation shows what can be accomplished, in real time, by a group of individuals who blend together and compliment each other. This presentation exemplifies the pinnacle of that which can be achieved! Gobsmacked, astounded and forever grateful for this work!❤
I would have loved to go to this concert. Waaaah that I didn't know! The Alan Parson's project is still one of my most beloved musical collections. I adore every album I have. It was my first introduction as a small child to Edgar Alan Poe. Because of this, I still adore 'The Raven' and the stories adapted on the first album.
“There’s a sign in the desert that points to the west, where you can’t tell the night from the sunrise. And not all the king’s horsemen nor all the king’s men have prevented the fall of the unwise.” Cut lyrics. I guess Vegas didn’t appreciate the negative publicity.
All of these APP videos, songs etc. are just great with fantastic musicianship. Over the years, the lineup has changed but AP never sang lead vocals on the original recordings, he had fantastic vocalists like Chris Rainbow, Colin Blunstone, Elmer Gantry & Lenny Zakatek. In later years PJ Olsson has been added to good effect, but Alan, mate, PLEASE don't do lead vocals, get someone else to sing.
He sang this from the heart for Eric.
My favorite band: The Alan Parson Project. We miss Eric Woolfson.
Sí, pero PJOlson también es bueno. 👍👍❤️❤️Claro que todos lo extrañamos. 😔😔

This song is a precious diamond into the world’s music panorama.

@@Majnun74 Lucky! You get to listen to it for the first time. Sometimes I'll listen and it will once again seem brand new. That is staying power.
Bezzy is with you in your heart. Listen together now. ❤
fantastic music, i´m born in 1961 and grown up with this special sound. This man is a genius.
Yes fantastic !! I was born in 1961 too !! Many bands , singers and music to talk about !!!

I'm only recently discovering their music, and I find Alan incredibly handsome, he's like a Greek god! Majestic :)
Only one word for this band, Legendary!
This version Is really nicely done. This is just a really good song! Been a Parsons fan since 1977.
Mi too! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

All the performers seem like they're having a lot of fun, but I can't help but grin when I watch PJ Olsson dancing across the stage.
Ohhh that's his name, I always call him TinTin in these videos.
Otro genio PJOlsson 👏👏👍👍❤️❤️
He’s delightful ❤
Well it may be two years after you posted the comment, but thank you for the laugh you have given me, I really need it right now :)@@rassisca3931

thanks for the music Alan Parson.
Love this song and a longtime favorite. Classic "I didn't see that coming" ending. Wonderful live.
One of my fav bands of all time since 1974

Simply AP genius! Nothing more to say...
Stellar live performance, a maestro
Beautiful, culminating song from Turn of a Friendly Card, an album that has no weaknesses. RIP Ian Bairnson and Eric Woolson.
Amazing vocals ! And music, of course !
Stupenda, grande Eric....
I like it when a band just comes out to play their music and really gets into it. None of this new age digital freaked out stuff of today.

Underrated , no way!
i used to criticize Alan's singing. Now, I'm enthralled. He loved Eric.

I like Alans version but miss Erics version when I hear this

I love Alan's voice; it is how I got into his music in the first place.
One of my AP favorites. Eric sings it much better though
Ich mag APP sehr, aber das Singen sollte Alan Parson denjenigen überlassen, die es können.
Always love them. But he's one scary looking dude, gotta say.
I think he's gorgeous. Lucky we don't all like the same types :)
the guitar solo is wrong
it really is wrong. Could he not do it?
Ian could.
They are profassionals only in studio. Not alive.
the solo was wrong
It's a solo. The whole point is a chance to improvise.
I love that guitar solo
