18:10 I actually really like the map in this segment, it’s like a little bit of Fjordur mixed with Ragnaroks small islands, and it has its own little flare. The kraken island is really cool, a lot of time was definitely put into this one. Honestly if it was bigger then I’d think it make a pretty solid non dlc map to join the official roster. Plus it has such a lovely crops at 21:17, I could definitely see myself spending lots of time there…um…gardening!
Raas. As you being a content creator for ARK. I for one can appreciate how ingrained in the actual community you are putting spotlights on so many player’s/modder’s work with the game.
There is a map being made by a master builder that you are familiar with , YuTay. It is currently 50% complete and his next biome update will be the luxury Forest. Show him some love in your next map video
Ah, here is my favorite series again. Some nice finds in this round, actually. Although Cothoros isn't finished (and I didn't see a lot of resources outside of rocks/trees/bushes), it's one of the most promising this time. The Haven/Event map is also nice, since apparently it is finished I have to wonder if the mod dev went on to create other maps. They certainly have some cool ideas.
@RaasClark, the vip map is a map meant for use by certain clusters who allow people to donate to keep their own private server for their tribe on the cluster
The haven map, if I understand correctly, was made for and is used on the yggdrassil cluster as the event map. Where dino auctions and breeding comps take place.

Just to add, that VIP map was made by someone on a dedicated server i use to play, you paid a few quid and got your own island for breeding, thats why that map is like that

There's a map recently I tried called Ice age which is a very pretty map but is still in development and is a little empty, some floors don't work and sharks swim on land XD The map is very beautiful and I hope it does really well because it would make for a great winter survival map, however it does have issues
That would be awesome not gonna lie but i don't think it's possible because some maps are contradictions of each other by example aberration, the surface is entirely burned as oposed to all of the other ones

The Island Extension CIE does a good job adding every map's bits to The Island. The mod maker has done a great job with it, even adding in a portal room for Gen 2 biomes. My group is having an absolute blast rediscovering all the changes to The Island and the new caves. It even has boss fights!
Maybe it’s just because I have Norse blood, but the moment you said “Haven” I knew it was Norse inspired. “My mother told me one day I would buy / Galleys with good oars / sail to distant shores / stand up on the prow / noble barque I steer / steady course to the Haven...” The name is in part a reference to a song that was made from a poem. The poem translates very differently, which is why the song version is different from the original poem. Translating the Old Norse makes it all sound even more nonsensical (well, not to the Norse but you get it).

Fjordur came kinda close to a map I would make. I'm awkward af and prefer creating on paper. Have see what I'm drawing vs looking at a screen whilst drawing. 🤣
As a yugioh fan myself, I don't think so. Honestly I don't recognise the middle creature as a card, the dragon doesn't resemble any dragon cards I own and the pointy nose dragon kind of resembles the curse of dragon card. That's the only thing I could pick out that slightly resembles yugioh. I am a casual fan and I don't know all the cards, but there wasn't any millennium symbols etc... which you would expect from a yugioh map.
How do you filter by map on the steam workshop? It used to work for me but now it keeps saying no results and this is the only occurrence of this issue I’ve ever had in any workshop. been like this for months too
and what is ur point with saying that yea the maps btw all of them have holes and buggs but is nobody allowed to look at other maps just bc the official ones arent perfect
If you see this you need to try it there is a point on a wyvern where you can go underwater and be fully submerged if you back up so tropical wyvern oxygen tank and good oxygen on the wyvern you could surprise someone on a pvp map
You should continue this series, it's really cool to see unknown maps.

You can use the VIP map for a bit of capture the flag pvp. Invite Bam and his crew and some others and make em duke it out.

Ok and? All maps have glitches, not just fjordur. Fjordur is very much finished, and is one of the best maps around.
