Perfection! When we eat out, I have to ask for over medium so all the white is cooked. And some places still don't do it right! At home I generally scramble the eggs because I can't flip them well. But this method will make them perfect for me and my toast! Thank you, Runny!
runnyrunny999 yeah I know, just wanna tell you my preferred style of your asmr videos. *gosh I'm really excited right now coz you reply to my comment, thanks runny! looking forward to all your future videos*
That's really cool, the way I do it is to use very little oil, fry for like a minute, turn off the oven and put a lid on it, and around 1 to 2 minutes later I remove the lid and it looks like in the video. But I want to do it like this now, seems faster.
This is a basted egg. Basting is a very good cooking method for fried eggs, because it leaves no brown areas on the white, not even underneath. Looks yummy, nice video. :)
I like the way you did them, sometimes I fry really hot and spread out for a crispy white, and a soft yolk with some soy sauce on the crispy part. 3 fried eggs over rice is great!
I know not everyone will agree with me and that's fine, but I much prefer Runny's normal videos. ASMR doesn't work on me and I find them a little boring. I love Runny's chit chat in his videos :) keep up the good work!
いいと思います。がんばって。Your sound for this series is getting much better. I was not sure if I would like it at first, even though I have always liked ASMR videos. I miss your blah blah time, but you still make the regular ones so it's okay. :)
love 'em! Here's just a suggestion: To try and keep the immersion, avoid cutting so much as it disrupts the visualization you're trying to put in someone's head. You're awesome for doing this! Thank you!
Runny san, I always loved eggs whatever form. I believe eggs are the most inexpensive, easily digestible, and very nutritional super protein. Hell with cholesterol.
In Spain, eggs literally swim in olive oil in order to be fried most of times XD not complaint at all, just different. I do like using less oil though. Fun fact, there is a painting by Murillo where some people fry eggs in a big pan, you may like it. Sorry my English sucks a bit.
The second method is what i always use, but i wish the yolk could still have the strong yellow color after cooking is done. But still close enough to being perfect!
+hydeistlove It could also be the camera's white balance or rather the set white point (google both for details). This can be given by the camera but many UA-camrs also change it to get "stronger" and more beautiful colors. Plus during upload and processing colors might change, too. But the egg white is actually super white, too, if you look at it. Pretty sure it's the first mentioned settings :)
Has anyone else seen the super complicated tutorial on soft boiled eggs on America's Test Kitchen? You have to use only a little water and then I think you boil it for a minute in relatively shallow water, then take it off the heat with a lid on the pot and let it slow cook for maybe 5 minutes? Then you use a $26 tool to slice the shell so you can scoop out egg with your spoon. Look it up and enjoy.
I prefer an omelet, on butter and butter only :) Properly cooked on the bottom, but top just barely. Fold it in half and put on a plate to rest for just one minute so it fuses together while it's still hot. Meanwhile cut few fresh vegetable, or make a nice toast. Once you're done it will be just the right temperature. I do like whole eggs with runny yokes too sometimes, and I think they taste better fried in oil for some reason. Go figure :)
funny that little hole in the lid didn't prevent explosion ehhh i'm not a big fan of runny yolks.. or isolated whites anyway.. though sometimes i eat hardboiled eggs i like my eggs scrambled or in omelette form. i also dig japanese thin omelettes that you can roll up, plus they're easy to make. but the EASIEST to make is a frittata. you add parmesan to it so the eggs can resist heavier cooking, and just bake it like a johnny cake
"have no worries you can make it" this was really encouraging and made me really happy even though im not even cooking an egg right now
eggcellent video!
+philipthethird And that eggsplosion!
He had great eggsecution while cooking.
Of course, he's an eggspert
Hi (sorry for bad english)

Oh god 😂 the master of sassiness right here
Mrs Frizzle ??
What the...? Oh. OH. That's interesting. That is really soothing in the weirdest way.
Finally, a recipe even I can do! XD
I've never seen an ASMR video with an explosion, but I think I could grow to like it! Awesome work my friend!
So THAT's how it's done. OMG YES. This was very calming to watch after a horrible day. Thank you for the video, Taro-san!
What I will say might seem weird to you but japanese eggs look so beautiful...
Perfection! When we eat out, I have to ask for over medium so all the white is cooked. And some places still don't do it right!
At home I generally scramble the eggs because I can't flip them well. But this method will make them perfect for me and my toast! Thank you, Runny!
Thanks for the tip!! I will definitely do this next time and I love over easy eggs so this is perfect. No need to "over easy".
I cannot wait to try this method. Thank you for vlogging!!!
I love the sound of egg when its cooking in the pan
I absolutely loved this video. Great work. Relaxing to watch. And the egg was perfect
Beautiful egg work! 👍🏾
so cute! i love the sound effect in the background. so relaxing
Wonderful video, Runny! Nice work.
I live in Washington, United States and I've been making my eggs like this forever! So cool!
Among all of your asmr videos, the first one is the best in my opinion
+Jo Shigeru
I've made only 3 vids till now lol
runnyrunny999 yeah I know, just wanna tell you my preferred style of your asmr videos. *gosh I'm really excited right now coz you reply to my comment, thanks runny! looking forward to all your future videos*
I had a mask on when watching this and this was soooo relaxing to watch

+Uzimachi
This seems easier to me because I'm preparing other stuff at the same time in the kitchen.
This is a basted egg. Basting is a very good cooking method for fried eggs, because it leaves no brown areas on the white, not even underneath. Looks yummy, nice video. :)
so very very very happy you are making ASMR cooking vids please never ever stop ^_^
I like the way you did them, sometimes I fry really hot and spread out for a crispy white, and a soft yolk with some soy sauce on the crispy part. 3 fried eggs over rice is great!
When i was a kid i like my egg cooked completley, but as i grew up i like the yolk runny
the sound of eggs popping in the hot pan is so good! hahaha
best sound ever. so nostalgic
I know not everyone will agree with me and that's fine, but I much prefer Runny's normal videos. ASMR doesn't work on me and I find them a little boring. I love Runny's chit chat in his videos :) keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! This is very useful! I've been cooking eggs recently but can never make it look good.
Not a fan of asmr, but I didn't know this was how you made the white-top eggs. I tried it today and it was delicious :) Thank you runny !
love 'em! Here's just a suggestion: To try and keep the immersion, avoid cutting so much as it disrupts the visualization you're trying to put in someone's head. You're awesome for doing this! Thank you!
That yolk at the end is making me so hungry.
Miss having my own kitchen. In a little over a week I will have one, though and I think I will definitely make more eggs.
Arigatou Runny-san. I learned something new!!
This is my favorite way to cook my fried egg!
This asmr series is sooo cool :3 I really enjoy it! Can't wait for the next one. ^w^
Do you think you could do an asmr of an egg scramble? Or something similar? Whisking sounds are quite a treat.
It seems you decided to go with it, awesome :)
Love these!~ Good work!
I love these video's !!
Great video runny. What is the make of the pan that you use? I've seen the pans with the detachable handle in other videos.
just fried my egg this morning like this! gonna start using this technique every time (:
Your egg yolks look delicious!
This was sooo helpful!!
Japanese eggs always look so delicious! :D
Music to my ears. Going to make some eggs now!
美味しそう! よくできた、runnyさん!
This is my favorite recipe for egg!! My ex-boyfriend taught me the water trick. Yes, he is Japanese ;)
Cooking ASMR. Cool.
Runny san, I always loved eggs whatever form. I believe eggs are the most inexpensive, easily digestible, and very nutritional super protein. Hell with cholesterol.
I always wanted a sunny side up with perfect yolk but could not perfect it. Always epic failure xD this is loads of help, now I know what to do.
I love ! Chef you're my hero !!!!!!!
Awesome vid! nice one handed egg-cracking too. I can't do it without breaking the yolk :(
In Spain, eggs literally swim in olive oil in order to be fried most of times XD not complaint at all, just different. I do like using less oil though.
Fun fact, there is a painting by Murillo where some people fry eggs in a big pan, you may like it.
Sorry my English sucks a bit.
can those egg be any more fresh? the freshness is insane
目玉焼きが珍しいとは驚いた。
塩をかけて醤油なしで食べるのが好き。
The second method is what i always use, but i wish the yolk could still have the strong yellow color after cooking is done. But still close enough to being perfect!
i like this series very much too!
Looks good!!
I LOVE THIS!!!! ASMR + YUMMY FOOD MAKE ME WAN NOM NOMZ
Love it~ also, its crazy how orange the yolk is! In the USA they are so yellow! I want to try japanese eggs! They are probably yummier~
+hydeistlove It's like that in many other countries. Buy free range eggs and you have a better chance of getting orange yolks.
Type of egg and they are the same. At least to me.
It's literally 100% dependent on the chicken's diet. Chickens that eat more mealworms/I assume higher fat diets tend to have darker yolks.
+hydeistlove It could also be the camera's white balance or rather the set white point (google both for details). This can be given by the camera but many UA-camrs also change it to get "stronger" and more beautiful colors. Plus during upload and processing colors might change, too. +kyle simmons hmm ill try free range eggs then!
Has anyone else seen the super complicated tutorial on soft boiled eggs on America's Test Kitchen?

this is therapy for me !! ^^
you like your eggs the same as me! when people ask how I like them, hard or soft, I say pink, and have to explain, lol
First! Great video, Runny-aan! ^o^/
pretty egg!
Huh, I never thought of using water to steam it. Thanks :D

I've gotta try this...
This way, I might find a new way to make my eggs.
UPDATE: I've made it several times since posting the comment. It is officially one of my favourite ways to make eggs.
I have yet to find a perfect dark orange yolked egg. ...in the states. mmmmmmm 😋🐣🍊
+julesS When we owned chickens (just two backyard chickens) our eggs looked like that. They tasted a lot better too!
Looks great, and if very similar to how I do mine. The difference is I flip once, because I'm not a fan of soft yolks.
+Jane Murphy When I ate eggs, I also flipped once, cause I didn't like soft whites. Runny yolks, mmmmm.
yeiii thanks RUNNY!!
I like eggs on seasoned stainless steel pan, broken yolk, flipped once, with salt.
i love eggs, so eggcited
Runnyrunny u should start doing cooking myths/experiments !
dying from all the puns
Now I know how to make that kind of egg
How do you like your eggs?
I like them runnyrunny999
I like this method and I also like to poach eggs.
Looks so good but i don't like the soft yolk, btw in my country we used so much oil 😷
i love when my egg looks so white like this :D
lots of oil, crispy white stuff, runny inside!
very nice!
this look really nice !!!! : )_
Your awesome....
I'm going to try this tomorrow! Greetings from Germany! おやすみなさい。(_ _)zZ
i throw mine over a pre heated high heat surfaced with oil for the crust and like to a the yolk between running and cooked
does your method leave the bottom crispy?
I like my eggs crispy & fully cooked
a little butter in the pan, one minute on a side, one minute on another.
What's Runny cooking at 3:10 on the left hand side?
I believe it's karaage
funny that little hole in the lid didn't prevent explosion
ehhh i'm not a big fan of runny yolks.. or isolated whites anyway.. though sometimes i eat hardboiled eggs

Eggs-actly...
over easy - all the way
I've always wondered how people make fried eggs look like this
omggg runnyrunny and asmr ;-;;
Low heat but a really hot frying pan - i dont get it .__. how can one achieve that?
That is some very runny yolk!
