    Perfection! When we eat out, I have to ask for over medium so all the white is cooked. And some places still don't do it right!
    At home I generally scramble the eggs because I can't flip them well. But this method will make them perfect for me and my toast! Thank you, Runny!

    That's really cool, the way I do it is to use very little oil, fry for like a minute, turn off the oven and put a lid on it, and around 1 to 2 minutes later I remove the lid and it looks like in the video. But I want to do it like this now, seems faster.

    This is a basted egg. Basting is a very good cooking method for fried eggs, because it leaves no brown areas on the white, not even underneath. Looks yummy, nice video. :)

    I like the way you did them, sometimes I fry really hot and spread out for a crispy white, and a soft yolk with some soy sauce on the crispy part. 3 fried eggs over rice is great!

    love 'em! Here's just a suggestion: To try and keep the immersion, avoid cutting so much as it disrupts the visualization you're trying to put in someone's head. You're awesome for doing this! Thank you!

    In Spain, eggs literally swim in olive oil in order to be fried most of times XD not complaint at all, just different. I do like using less oil though.
    Fun fact, there is a painting by Murillo where some people fry eggs in a big pan, you may like it.
    Sorry my English sucks a bit.

      It's literally 100% dependent on the chicken's diet. Chickens that eat more mealworms/I assume higher fat diets tend to have darker yolks.

    • @MeVSGravity1
      @MeVSGravity1 9 років тому +1

      +hydeistlove It could also be the camera's white balance or rather the set white point (google both for details). This can be given by the camera but many UA-camrs also change it to get "stronger" and more beautiful colors. Plus during upload and processing colors might change, too. But the egg white is actually super white, too, if you look at it. Pretty sure it's the first mentioned settings :)

    Has anyone else seen the super complicated tutorial on soft boiled eggs on America's Test Kitchen?
    You have to use only a little water and then I think you boil it for a minute in relatively shallow water, then take it off the heat with a lid on the pot and let it slow cook for maybe 5 minutes? Then you use a $26 tool to slice the shell so you can scoop out egg with your spoon.
    Look it up and enjoy.

    I prefer an omelet, on butter and butter only :) Properly cooked on the bottom, but top just barely. Fold it in half and put on a plate to rest for just one minute so it fuses together while it's still hot. Meanwhile cut few fresh vegetable, or make a nice toast. Once you're done it will be just the right temperature.
    I do like whole eggs with runny yokes too sometimes, and I think they taste better fried in oil for some reason. Go figure :)

    ehhh i'm not a big fan of runny yolks.. or isolated whites anyway.. though sometimes i eat hardboiled eggs
    i like my eggs scrambled or in omelette form. i also dig japanese thin omelettes that you can roll up, plus they're easy to make. but the EASIEST to make is a frittata. you add parmesan to it so the eggs can resist heavier cooking, and just bake it like a johnny cake
