I enjoy your videos and please correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought you weren’t allowed to use E-bikes for the purpose of hunting. Now that may differ from M-U to M-U. Look forward to your answer and I’ll double check on my end also.
Hey Dom, appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoy the videos! E-bikes are perfectly legal for use while hunting throughout BC. What you’re probably thinking of is areas with vehicle restrictions in place. If a certain area is closed to vehicle access, (either for burn recovery, or above a certain elevation in some MU’s), then E-bikes fall into the same category. You can essentially use them anywhere you’d be allowed to operate any other type of motorized vehicle. In this particular case, the area is gated to restrict vehicle access, but it’s not closed to vehicle access. Hope that helps! 😁
He’s definitely fixn’ to be a stud this year 🙌 …unfortunately for me, there isn’t even an LEH draw in there, so I’ll just have to settle for pictures and videos, haha
@@solobackcountry9307 really appreciate the support 🙏 This particular one I borrowed off a buddy, and it was a 500w, but it definitely felt a little underpowered. When I do buy my own, I’ll spend the extra and get a 1000w that’s a little more geared towards actual hunting applications. I’m looking at the Bakcou Mule
@@cheechakooutdoors Thanks for your reply also look toward the Mid drive motor rather than Hub drive. Mid drive is more expensive and better for elevation gain.
Great videos of the Elk and hope you eventually come upon a black bear and from my early days in the Fall of the year they regularly helped themselves to young lambs later on in the day. I am not a Hunter ar this late junction of my life so I know little about hunting black bear or any other game animals.
I’m pretty persistent, so fingers crossed I’ll manage to cross paths with him yet this season. I definitely feel that as a hunter, part of my responsibility is to also help manage predator numbers in the areas I hunt and help give the ungulates a fighting chance. The fact that my family loves to eat bears is a great bonus 🙌 Thanks for watching John!
Brother long time! How are you!!? Hope all is well!! How do you like using the e-bike? From Costco? I haven't been out for two years! But I have the fever, and will definitely get out this year! Cheers buddy stay safe ❤
Hey, hey buddy, I'm good! How're you doing? I watched some of the workout vids man, good to see you keeping after it and staying positive 👊 The ebike was good! ...I borrowed this one from a buddy to try out and see how I liked it, and it is one from costco, yeah. I think I'll definitely be getting one, but I think I'll get one with some more power. I just found that it really struggled with some of the steeper hills, even with me peddling to help it. Great to hear you're going to get back out this season, can't wait to see how you make out! 😁
@@cheechakooutdoors good information. I totally have the hunting fever, no more venison. I will definitely get out this year. Thank you for the kind words, everyday is a battle. Keep up the great work ❤️👊🏽
Thanks for continuing to put out great BC content! I biked into that little honey hole a couple years ago :)
Appreciate the support Ashley, likewise!
@@cheechakooutdoors of course Chris its BC helping BC!

One of my favourite content creators I enjoy watching 👍. Do you remember what power this e-bike is like 500 watt or 750 watt e-bike?

Nicely done video 👍 Sub’d & Liked 👍 How far North are you? 🇨🇦
Not far at all, I’m in the Lower mainland, in Southwestern BC. …and thanks for the support, appreciate it!
With gun ban a thing of the past.
I still hunt ‘em with a bow as well, but the gun bans are definitely something we have to keep fighting. Keep up the pressure 👊🏼
