Both Goruck and Evergoods blow these out of the water in worksmanship and material quality, pretty funny to see them compared 🤣 Cotopaxi sits at a lower tier with Patagonia and the likes IMO
I hear you! And tend to agree on the tiers for me personally but wanted to give one a try since I see them all the time. I think they’re an easy to recommend travel combo for someone unwilling to “take a chance” on a brand someone hasn’t seen in person before
Goruck costs almost double the money, are you serious dude? Sure their workmanship is great but have you ever considered that some people may not be willing or able to pay a small fortune for a backpack?
I don't like the "loud" branding on all these mainstream bags. If you want me to advertise for you, I should be getting something in return. And with the Allpa in particular, I don't like that it has zero structure, not even a frame sheet. If you pack it tightly, it's gonna put some very uneven pressure on your laptop. It also pulls you back quite a bit, because of the depth and no load lifters.
@@MNP208 No, it's not. You can easily find any piece of clothing as well as other products you wear visibly, with minimal or no branding. I refuse to be a walking billboard for these companies, even after giving them large amounts of money. I get it on a $5 shirt, but when I pay $100-150 for a t-shirt, that thing better look clean. Same goes for bags - I get branding on a Tomtoc, who make a great quality travel bag for $80, but not on one costing upwards of $200... For $250 you can get bags made in USA and out of better materials than the Allpa, with no branding.

I had a lot of loose stitching OK my GR bullet. Nothing worth sending back for, but GR is overrated IMO.
now compare the prices and write it again ... goruck and evergoods cost double.
@crazykooc3549 well goruck had big discounts last week so its comparable, but yea Cotopaxi is a better bang for buck

Sierra is selling the old models for $119 and $99. No water bottle pocket, but a great deal if you don’t care about the color. I just ordered one!
Nice!

One person’s lack of frame sheet is another person’s comfort 🤷🏼♂️
Isn’t “loud” branding on almost everything we wear? I mean, look at shoes these days!
