Try and don’t drop down on your knees, Yes, It feels safer but it’s not the right thing to do. If you get a ball straight at you try to let the ball hit you, just like a scoop/bucket. One last thing, I see that you are diving straight to your side, try to dive forward to cut the angle. I can assure you that you reach longer if you do this.
