New “cab” day! Laney LFR-412 (iPhone in the room)

Initial power up of the new Laney LFR-412 (2600 watt, powered FRFR!).
Only got to about 4 volume-wise and it's deafening--it'll be perfect for a live band situation.
Just plugged the QuadCortex in--didn't tweak any settings to this cab. But did test out the internal IRs as is.

Laney is horrible at getting people to demo their products, I have the 212 and been thinking about upgrading to the 412

Sounds great man. Im using the Laney 2 12 atm and its awesome with the Quad Cortex it is really good. But im thinking about one of these now. I guess its a fuller sound with the bigger cab and speakers?

How does it compare to a standard 4x12? I know the LFR is a different thing than a standard 4x12 cab, it's basically a big PA speaker, I'm just asking how it compares in terms of low end thump and "bigness" relative to a standard 4x12 cab.
