My husband and I collect old porcelain Coca-Cola signs, and have a vast collection. It's funny, because both of us HATE the actual drink, and love Pepsi, but for collecting, it's all Coke.
Love how passionate this guy is. He’s an example of what can happen when a company treats its employees well; he not only served the company to the best of his abilities, he also completely embraced the brand and the role it plays in our culture, and became a free spokesperson for them for life. Coke’s current executives and shareholders would do well to keep this man and his story in mind, same for other big brands.
Omg, that’s so cool! I have one of the reproduction platters with her image on it, it’s on my wall with a couple other old Coke promotional products. Her image has been reproduced so many times in these past decades, your great grandma really left her mark on American history!
My search started in 1975, about the same time my Grandfather retired from West Point MS Coca-Cola Bottles, his only job 1920-1970's. Bottle washer - Manager!!
Imagine geting payed so much as a delivery driver that you can afford to buy out the owner of the distribution post? You can't do that today...
Probably wasn’t a delivery driver the entire time. Likely worked his way up the company ranks.

I collect Coca Cola bottles! My stepmom started me on it when I was 11… she had been collecting since she was a teenager.
Cool!

Celebrating a corporation that pushed to move MLB All Star game from a state w/less stringent voting requirements to a more strict state?
Coco-Cola slaps
Wonder if he drank Pepsi.
Waste of money and time , but whatever he likes i guess
His collection is worth over $1M. It's called an asset, learn about them.
“Waste of money”… until he decides to sell all of it and him, his children, and his grandchildren are set for life.
