I have the Vitarifolium which looks very much the same as both of your plants. It is also very easy, growing all the time with no crisping, etc. Love the plant. I find the Veitchii is the same, but maybe slower growing. I am starting to believe that it is the velvet leaf anthuriums which are more sensitive.
Vittarifolium is definitely next for me I think- I don't know why I've waited on one tbh. I had a friedrichsthalii arrive once that died almost immediately so I think I got intimidated. Great to hear you've had a good experience! Hope I come across a good one soon. Also agree, Veitchii is so.sloooooow😂
So funny everyone says those plants are easy but I struggle with both. I grow outdoors and my pallidiflorum always looks like 💩 and I've killed 2 wendlingeri working on my 3rd. Congrats on your success
Ma'am I need you to create an Amazon storefront lol. Where did you get the pon planter you have the pallidiflorum? Just recently found your channel & am loving it here🖤🌿
Thank you so much! Ah, the planter- it's cute right? 😌 And ur not wrong here- i've been meaning to get it together and create a storefront 😂 In the meantime, here's that link; amzn.to/3wmfOWz 🌱✨
😂 I know😆 They can be so pricy! Hope u can get your hands on one that’s not too crazy. They really are worth it. Once Ecuagenera had some growers choice of these as fresh imports that were pretty reasonable. 💚
the strap leaf Anthurium must all be easy. I have friedrichsthalii and that has been, by far, my easiest. It has massively thick roots and doesn't care if it gets dry. It does produce A LOT of roots, I have had to repot it twice in less than a year because it just filled the pot (the roots are so thick they bowed out the pot pushing against it). It is smaller than pallidiflorum and wendlingeri, so may better for a spot with limited space.
I think I’m gonna have to try again with the friedrichstahalii- this seems to be alot of people’s experience with it. I got one as a fresh import and it basically disintegrated. It deserves another chance I think 😂
Great question! Also thank you and Welcome! So I have been growing more plants in pon lately because when it’s successful, the plants are really easy to take care of & seem to have less problems than aroid mix plants. I have been testing this out on some of my easier anthuriums so that I can share which plants are good pon candidates with those who are pon-curious, and which are not great. Sorry about the long answer 😂
Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Curling a bit could absolutely be a watering issue, which I hope it is bc u can fix that usually. I don't really think it's the humidity bc there's are pretty tough generally. I keep both of mine in ambient and run the heat occasionally. Usually I try not to drop the temps below 66 in the house. Any signs of pests? U might just have to get in there and check out your roots and see how they are looking if it's getting worse. If the soil continually dried out, it could have become hydrophobic and not able to absorb water well in which case u can change it out. Hope that helps! Good luck with your 🌱
❤ amo folhagens. Parabéns
Obrigada! 😊💚

Why did you plant one plant in pon and the other anthyrium in orchid bark? They are both beautiful. I just found your channel. I did subscribe. 😊

@@EnchantedPlantQueen OH no. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I really enjoy your channel.
Hey 😊 does the wendlingeri has the same shiny leafs as the pallidiflorum?
Hi! In my experience, Wendlingeri does not have the same dramatic sheen. It's definitely more textured too.🌱✨
My pallidiflorim leaves are curling……am I not
Watering it enough? I’m so sad! It’s in a super chuncky mix
