So many questions to be answered, what was their lives like? where did they end up? What did they do for a living? Are any still with us today? Thank you for making this..
Wonderful video with beautiful men and great music. While there are many handsome men in this montage, the guys at 1:41 is exquisite! 🙂 BTW, the death of Alain Delon in the past couple of days is sad. He was 88, and that's not a shabby life. Still, the loss of such a beautiful and talented man is sad.
You have exquisite taste...also, not sure if you collect LGBTQ+ art and ephemera, but I'm working on a video of art and ephemera from the upcoming sale this week at Swann. Wow! I hadn't heard the news about Mr. Delon. Sad indeed. What a classy man. Great actor too.
Please go tell that to UA-cam. And stop trying to tell me what to do. Don't like the censorship? That's a YT problem. And why I also post on Substack. UA-cam has almost deleted my channel for lesser "crimes" so be kind...or rewind elsewhere. Thanks.
In elementary school we were bused to the high school pool once a week for swim lessons. Since our first lesson fell on St. Patrick's Day one year I made sure my mother bought me green trunks.
You're more than welcome to check it out Substack: collidepress.substack.com/ Sadly, UA-cam's censorship bot police (and the bot-like humans who created such dumb rules) hate to believe that underneath our clothes...we're naked. Stupid bots (and bot-like bureaucrats). lol
Clint, hope the historical 2:57 context don't get the YT bots in a hissy fit with you 😮 otherwise the archive was top notch again, as usual. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
@@CollidePress and it always makes me wonder what the context of an image is that grown adult guys get a few beers and say ' hey guys let's get naked and build a human bridge' Their efforts are there in the ponderverse for eternity now 😎 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
Haven't made any exclusively about any wars (or conflicts), but I will put it on the list. I'm sure a lot of guys would like to see some of what they experienced/survived represented. For Memorial Day, I did a LONG montage that includes some images from Vietnam. Though most of it is admittedly earlier: ua-cam.com/video/cZ8OC60jff0/v-deo.html
Some small notes, first my most sincere tribute to all these men! May they have been happy both in friendship and in more intimate relationships! I confess that I felt ashamed to know that in my country until the eighties, homosexuals were persecuted, judged and condemned! But today everything has changed and I feel proud to live in a country that is most supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community.
For the past 50 years, I have kissed my friends, including my straight male friends. Obviously, I don't kiss them if they are not comfortable with male-male kissing.

Thank YOU for watching...and hope you enjoyed making up some of their stories. I know I do. :-)
Yes ...keep thinking 'what's your story' in every photo. Especially guys in uniform. Did they make it back home, etc. 😐

@@superbill1752 I agree 100%, but I fear that UA-cam disagrees.
Those stretchy bathing suits from the 1950s leave very little to the imagination (fortunately, lol).

LOL...didn't wanna get pinched? Or did you? :-)
@@tommunyon2874 I'll bet you were adorable!
What all swanky handsome men
Glad you enjoyed...thanks for watching!
1:13 I love the expression on the face of the man kneeling. He looks like he is proposing.
That’s how I’ve always interpreted it. Wish I knew the story. Thanks for watching. 🌈✌️

Cool.
I'd love to see the uncensored version of 2:57.

Right? We're weird by design. Also, I went ahead and blurred that image...just in case. Ugh. I hate censorship. So much.
@@CollidePress so true Clint, it's original is more a Substack posting for safety 🥴🥴🥴🫂 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
Already updated. You're GOOD at this. When are you starting your own Substack? :-)

Oh, the Joy of seeing no tattoos!
Different strokes for different folks. I don't mind them, but I don't need them either. :-)
The kiss at 0:35 is very beautiful and daring for the early 1940s.
