Excellent video and thanks for posting. If anyone wants to use the threaded boss to secure the camera to the bike panels, be aware that it needs a 1/4” UNC threaded screw/bolt. Also, if mounting the camera under a front faring, ensure that the maximum fork travel will not impact the camera. I’m looking to make a bracket and forward mount the camera in front of the headlamp, which is not what I wanted and don’t really want handlebar mounting.
Thank you, well done! I´m having the same vibration problems with Viofo MT1 ua-cam.com/video/MR38YCMmk1c/v-deo.html. So I´m using other cameras mounted on the handlebars, with no problems. Unfortunately the MT1 cameras are very prone to register even the smallest vibrations which makes the videos unusable. The Falcon seems to be slightly better!
Thanks for sharing mate, just had one delivered today. Going to fit over the winter onto my Honda Goldwing. Still working out best place to mount cameras and may install the main recording unit in my rear trunk.. Thanks again.
Really nice setup iv been looking for a while for a dash cam for my t120 this looks like it will do everything I need, great video again thanks for sharing maverick all the best mate
Compliment Sir, you're a genious, you do your own electrics. As soon as I see more than 2 wires, I break out in a sweat. Although having a basic knowledge of Mechanics, enough to help with roadside breakdowns, when it comes to electrics, you'll find me running off to the dealership.., shouting for help! This seems to be a fantastic device, one to put all other filming equipment manufactures out of business. Very much looking forward to your first experiences and review after a longer tour with it. Then maybe, i'll have it on my Birthday wishlist next summer. Oh, one other thing.., is the Sizzapp, which I don't have (yet), really necessary if I have the Vantrue F1 fitted with it's bike movement sensibility and tracking capabilities?
The SIZZAPP sends you a text message and phone if the bike moves so you don’t need to be near the bike. The dashcam you have to be by the bike to connect to it to see the footage.
Very good vid 👍Can confirm the camera is good, had mine about 3 months now and can't complain for the money, just need to fit mine to the new bike now. I noticed you never mentioned the ultra miniature screws for the sd card cover are not compatible with sausage fingers haha.
Thanks for the extensive video. Appreciate it. Oké about the front camera. It looks like there is or no image stabilisation or just a pretty bad one. To record traffic situations it good enough but to use it in a video it’s not good at all. The image quality is all over the place. What is your impression?
Hi, Question; how is the front lens holding up? (bugs, sand, rocks can easily damage it?) 2024 feb; Just got one for about $300us For me, the unit seems more worth like $200us something. CONS; -Regarding the memory card; Vantrue uses the FAT32 format, which is not secure and very old fashioned and limits files to 4GB and windows made partitions to 32GB. You can use micro SD card up to 512GB though. (512GB records about 28h of video (per minute; FRONT 4K=233MB and REAR 1080=74MB; together 307MB per minute)) -VLC player would NOT play any of the .MP4 files because of HVC1 video format. Win media player has no problems. -Rear camera cable could be a bit longer. Front camera cable is a fragile high speed data coax cable. -CPU unit is not really waterproof and a USB-C connection would be better than WIFI to your phone/laptop. (Who wants to watch the video stream while driving ???) -Feedback voice is a very annoying Chinese English tone with bad grammar -Camera's seem nice and solid, control box less so; very plastic-y -System has a 2 amp fuse; so uses about 25Watt, which is quite a LOT !! The front 4K camera and especially the CPU block gets a bit warm. For me; Video quality and anti vibration are good. In all; OK-ish. Thanks for your review!
So far so good, expected to be covered in crap but I’m surprised it still has a clear picture , all in all I’m happy, 4gb file size is no problem as I have 2 min recording

@@cynicaldodgyknees6248 sounds a good idea
Can this be used in a car? I like how the cameras are smaller than other dash cams for cars
@@rartis95 they make a version for cars
Great video, very informative......I bought one! VanTrue owes you a commission on my sale! Thank you!

Was hoping to see actual footage from this camera system

😂😂 I’m did nearly lose them twice
Looks a great bit of kit plenty of features 👌
With image stabilization (front) the package would be complete. Thanks for the video.

For road safety or accident it’s fine. Wouldn’t use in a video
@@Motourev you would expect something better considering the price tag or is that me…
@@motorcyclistfromholland8856 honestly, I wouldn’t. I would expect dashcam footage to be basic.
Hello mate, can you rotate the camera in case the surface it is mounted on is not leveled? thanks
You can flip 180 only so camera mounted normal or upside down
My thoughts too, so ruled out one mounting spot, unfortunately.

good vid, can you turn the cameras on and off while riding the bike? I may not wish to record parts of my ride
Yes by using the controller set on the dash

@@davidsandilands1285 press and hold for a few seconds switches it off.
