I recommend this game for players who are not experienced, otherwise you'll be dissapointed. Game feels like playing in easy mode from start to end.
I finished this game a few our ago with no effort, using the main weapon. I had my spectations up from the start but the more you play, the more you see how easy the game turns. Predictable and unchallenging bosses, monsters are weak and can be one-shoted all the way. And what pissed me off the most was reaching the final boss expecting a hard battle but it was a bad joke.
This is wasted potential, sprites are 7/10, enviroments and music are amazing but could be better: there are times the monsters or bullets are hard to see because contrast.
We all have to agree this is one of the coolest Independent companies Around everything they make is like a hidden gem every time
Not really, they've been fairly shitty to a lot of devs. Yeah, the games they publish are fucking awesome but despite Nicalis, not thanks to them.

This game crashes like MAD on Switch. Please see the Steam discussion page for this game BEFORE buying. There's 7 or 8 others that have reported this.
You virtually CANNOT get past floor 7. I can confirm this. There's a 99% chance it will crash, and there goes your progress.
My wife and I have been playing on Switch, and 50% of the time the game crashes and says "an unexpected error has occurred"... Either that, or twice now we have been pushed/clipped by enemies back against a door to the left, which won't allow us to continue. We have to wave the surrender flag. It always happens on a good run, too. Please fix this, it's giving me Neon Abyss vibes on Switch and PS4 with all the run breaking glitches.
Otherwise, holy hell, great game. I just wish we could get a fair shake at actually completing a run. Quite actually it is a 50/50 chance on whether the game will crash or not.

Towerfall is amazing as it is atleast the multiplayer mode.
