I was to say thanks for the information you provided it was much needed. I will be flying with Turkish Airline in September. I have a question regarding your check luggage. I was told by Turkish Airline customer service that we are required to get our luggage since my layover is 15 hours. Do you happen to know if this is correct? Also, I have a room in Istanbul Airport at Yotel (Airside). Have you stayed there?
Hi you are welcome. So we didn't have to get our luggage but if that is the case for you I would leave it at Yotel, in case you can't then put it under bus as there is room during the tour. I didn't stay at Yotel but it looked good, have a great time.
I travelled between London and Singapore on Turkish Airlines last year, and the Touristanbul tours were fantastic - well-organised and the guides were really commutative (in English).
I also know that you can choose between that free tour and free hotel. ...I don't know which one should I take. .. having a layover from 3pm to 10am next day..
Thank you for the update. I'm thinking about signing up their promotional offer. There is a layover of 7 hr and 50min. Since Im a US citizen glad I got to save few bucks on visa sign up.
Hi. This video is very useful so thanks. Did you say you took an evening 6pm as well as a morning 11am tour? I was looking at the screenshot at time index 4:26 but I don't see either of these tours. Could you confirm?
Hi I’m unsure if it’s same cruise we went on at night. It was a very simple sandwich diner they gave us which I didn’t particularly like . We went in November so it was chilly and still glad we did it , remember it takes a while to get out of airport so plan to get to meeting place by like 5:45 so you check in for tour etc
Hi, that was the Evisa but now American's don't need the Visa anymore so would be free, not sure where you are from. I said it was worth the Visa, because I got to do the 2 tours and do some sightseeing instead of being stuck at the airport for 7 hours.
Congratulations to you and all other U.S. citizens for finally getting visa-free status! 😂 For me personally, an e-visa is still required. 😔 Just out of curiosity, does e-visa vs. visa-free make an actual difference in time spent getting through customs and out the airport? For example, will the American sitting next to me with the same connecting flight have a safer time taking the Touristanbul tour without worrying about being late than I do? Or will our considerations basically be the same?
Ah hope its like the evisa and easy to get and not bad price, still same time for either , its a super long walk to get out , give your self at least 45 minutes to get to the tour meeting spot to be on safe side
@@fusetravels Good to know. Thanks for the heads-up! Plane lands at 4:50 p.m. and I want to make it to the 6:00 p.m. one. That should just barely be enough time. 🤞
Istanbul airport is sooooo hot. Definitely not enough air conditioning. Very sad being it’s been updated and major additions. Should had spent another 300 million on the air conditioning. You will sweat getting to and from this huge airport.

Some people have stated that about the hotel, wonder if you could do both? doesn't hurt to ask and research
Thank you for the update on the visa, we travel there in March and this is great news.
My pleasure and yes it is!

Hi I had yes but the tours change and also depends day of the week so I would check on the website, I have link in description.
I also saw that there is a free hotel program from Turkish Airlines. Wondering if that is something you took advantage off as well? Thanks again.
I did not as they didn't have that when I went so sorry wouldn't know anything about it
People told me it is possible. But you have to choose between a free tour or a free hotel.
@@teriod100 ah okay if choosing I may prefer the hotel so I could get some sleep.
Hello, I am planning on booking the 6pm tour soon. I was wondering if you could tell me more about the Bosphorus Cruise.

Sorry I was logged on with my husband account and replied above , it’s me lol
@@fusetravels thanks!
What if im from a country that I can’t get an e-visa for turkey is it possible to go on the tour??
if the country your from needs an E-visa and you can't not get it, then no you won't be able to go on the tour
How much does the airline charge for seat selection? Thanks!
I am unsure but you can login and check your flight details and options etc
What is the 56 box u mentioned ?
not sure what 56 box is so I have to check my own video to see what you mean, will get back to you.
What happen to your carry on luggage and personal luggage ? Locker room ?
I added carry on under the bus for the tour and had my bookbag with me
Where to store my carryon luggage in the airport? Thanks
I didn't store it, I took it and they stowed in under bus during tour
Hi, can you tell me what about the checked luggage? Do you have to pick it up when you land in Istanbul and check-in it again after the tour?
@@imnotarob.t no my bag went straight to my final destination
@@imnotarob.t mine went to final destination since it was a layover
@@fusetravels thank youuu ☺️
