Look up Touristanbul which is the portion of Turkish airlines that provides hotels and tours. Make sure you book directly with Turkish Airlines and not a 3rd party site like kayak. I had a 7 1/2 hour layover in Istanbul and I took the 3 hour tour. It was awesome!

Istanbul airport is sooooo hot. Definitely not enough air conditioning. Very sad being it’s been updated and major additions. Should had spent another 300 million on the air conditioning. You will sweat getting to and from this huge airport.

I have this bag. It’s just OK for me. It’s very pretty but the sides are soft so they don’t stay up making it kinda hard to pack. The bag gets very bulky very fast and the last trip I took in May, it BARELY fit under the seat on American Airlines and I didn’t even have that much in it.. But, it seems really sturdy and as I said it’s really pretty..
