@@ShadowTreeHomestead I hear the original filters are installed before painting, so they’re more or less glued into place. Not looking forward to that first removal!
Great channel. We live in west Texas and recently bought a place with two acres. Finally bought a Kubota 2601 to help around the place. It was a great investment! Keep the great videos coming!
should have stuck a shop vac on the rear fill port to create a vacuum that stops you losing the hydraulic fluid . look it up for next time actually a pretty neat trick
Need to change out the fuel filter also. All our tractors get oil fuel changed out and air filer blowed out at the start of corn planting season. And the same before we start planting beans hydraulic filer gets changed every other year we keep records on everything we do to them we have 5 tractors and 3 road trucks with hopper bottoms.
Yes sir, I ended up changing it after the video was recorded. My local dealer was out of stock and I had to wait a few days. I’ve got a notebook I keep all the maintenance logged in. Thank you and nice to hear from guys with experience.
Last video; July 2021. Here it is August 2022 …? All ok … or am I missing something? I have a Kubota tractor and found your videos (with you as “a learner”) to be somewhat informative, if that makes sense!
Thanks for posting. I’m at 48 hours in mine. I’ve never used a filter wrench on an install. I hope you can get those off at the next service!
I didn’t install those anywhere near what the factory filters came tightened at. Those puppies were really tight.

I always use a wrench to tighten my filters up never had a problem getting them back off
He needs to use the wrench. He actually uses his tractor and having the filter come loose out in the field can be disasterous

Way too tight on the oil filter bro! Have a big Screwdriver and hammer ready.
