OMG! Chris, I just made them with salmon, and it was awesome! I am ketovore, so I put a little Dijon mustard, garlic, and dill and made a dill dipping sauce, and no one could have known it was ketovore! Thank you very much!
I just made these but with minced pepperoni, Parmesan, Romano and Asiago cheeses. My husband said to tell whoever gave me this recipe thank you! We love them :)
Just look at the various ways people are using this recipe. These are unbelievably tasty. I made ours using some chopped up, leftover double smoked ham from Christmas, sharp cheddar cheese, a few chives and some caiun seasoning. These were so good. Everybody has got to try these because you just can't imagine the texture and the taste. No one would ever know that these are super low carb which can be completely carnivore, or can be made ketovore or keto depending on your lifestyle. Great great great! 😋😋😋👍
I made these, and now I’m hooked! I envision this dough formed around beef lil’ smokies, or flattened out into a burger bun shape. I’ve really missed fried crunchy foods!
This would be a great way to make onion bhaji's or even fried fish and chicken! Especially if you cooked the chicken first to ensure it was up to temperature and then battered it.
Looks like Mel is, indeed, a fritter-lovin’ pup. 😝The crunchy outside & soft inside just looks amazing! A million thumbs up for creating this recipe, Chris!
Awesome ❤ I will make a sweet version for the upcoming carnival here in Germany missed those carnival fritters, I will add Glycine as sweetener so even the sweet fritters will be carnivore.

These are wonderful! I took the fritter batter put it in a pastry bag with a star tip. Piped churros sprinkled with cinnamon and xylitol. Addicting. Then I just made spoonfuls of doughnut holes. With the cinnamon and sugar. Tonight we are going savory. Gonna make bacon cheeseburger fritters.
That does look incredible indeed! I can think of a few other combos but I would like to know if you used a sweeter cheese or some of that allulose you might be able to make a fried dessert?
Best thing to do is strain the solids, let it cool to room temp, and then put it in a container to store in the fridge. You could probably keep it at room temp still but I keep any oil that has had food cooking in it in the fridge just out of extra caution. 😊👍🏼

Pressing flat isn’t an issue. Getting them to hold their shape before cooking so you can stuff them is the problem. If you cook them they’re not going to seal. If you don’t cook, they’re a paste, and you have to figure pit how to get them to form shape.
