When I was looking at the stock and thinking about quickly loading shells…. Just imagine a speedloader for this. Personally the animation that happens when reloading some jakobs rifles in borderlands 3 comes to mind
The Buzz Bee Rapid Fire Tek is probably the blaster Coop is referring to at 5:15. Lever action shell ejecting, but uses a box mag instead of a tube mag.
Nerf also has had a number of Level action blasters over the years. Including both shell and non shell based ones. Including the beloved Slingfire that was well before I got into the hobby.
when i was 9, i got my first nerf blaster, it was a slingfire, and i got it, because i wanted to be like the scout from tf2. this brings back some good memories, thanks for the nostalgia, frank
Hey Frank, loving the content, I think you should remake the heavy gunner showdown video as it was really fun the first time but now there are so many more options like af v twin, prometheus with and without hopper extensions, jupiter with proton pack, or even a perses with the OOD hopper.
@Miguel Rodriguez I definitely don't think it is a comedy loadout video, it is basically reviewing lots of blasters that are similar to inform consumers which is the best for different needs
To be fair lever action rifles in real life are pretty temperamental too, only reason they are semi relevant are because of specialty cartridges a la 45-70 govt. Also wouldn't 3D printed plastic smoothen out over time?
Theoretically yes. But where does the extra bits that broke off to make it smooth go. Hopefully out, but it also may cause extra problems staying in and scratching everything further.
@@benhingley9523 true, the plastic particles that get scraped off often stay inside the blaster, but that's part of what you should expect from any blaster. It's good practice to open up a blaster from time to time and clean up/relube its internals in order to get rid of these particles collecting in the grease that coat the whole mechanism. Good maintenance keeps a blaster healthy ! :)
you don't own many lever actions do you? the entire henry corporation is built on reliable, affordable lever actions and they've had huge success and no complaints. marlin built their name mostly on levers, including the caliber you mentioned. even with them gone now, ruger bought the rights to keep making the lever actions. by all logic they're more reliable than any semi-automatic gun, and easier to use and quicker to load than pump actions. as far as plastic goes, i dont know id never buy adult nerf guns now that i know they're 200 dollars
I would like to mention that in a super stock war where you could still have an fps advantage with a Wingchester and a sniper scout role could be where this shines.
Every time I'm watching a review of a lever action blaster, I wish so much you could do the one-hand load. It would be so cool! Also, I love shell ejecting blasters. Wish you all the best!
A little pointer a lot of us lever gun users do in person, get some paracord and wrap it around the lever loop. It'll help so you don't beat up your knuckles cycling the rifle.
I liked the Tactical Preview section at the beginning, very nice! It might also be fun to include some of your "hardcore parkour" testing procedure? 😂 Thanks for the great review! 🧡
Years ago, I used to have a lever action blaster. It was like this blaster, but was magazine fed. Despite having to hunt down shells after running around the house with it, I was definitely in love with shell ejecting Nerf guns.
I like this new highlight reel at the start! Hopefully you keep doing it, especially for things without an unboxing. Suggestion for a review: the Skewer by Taffy.
I can see this being used casually as a sort of “power weapon” thats preplaced before the start of the war ala battlefield if everyone’s starting with ~70 FPS blasters
i am 16 now, i remember being very into nerf guns 5, 6 yrs ago, damn brings back memories, coop772 looks a lot different now, thanks for making my childhood fun
Whats this? A high quality in depth third parry nerf blaster review with a funny and handsome host with years of content available to watch afterwards by golly I must subscribe
I haven't played with Nerf in years, but I still love coming to watch every time Coop uploads. Also noticed you changed the channel image. That picture of you totally screams "dudebro."
man frank starting to look better again, losing weight etc. im happy to see it since i watch his stuff since ages and really love him even tho idc abt nerf since ages anymore
2:47 as someone who has used an actual lever action I can confirm that's how you do it also you can't keep your fingers on the trigger because that can get caught when you pull it back
Idk what you're talking about you usually keep your three fingers inside and keep your trigger finger just forward out of the way. Never seen someone actually take their entire hand out to cycle it unless it got jammed for some reason
I just bought two of those. one for modding, and the other is for normal use and for my gun rack. for the modding one I replaced the spring with a weaker one to where its spring isn't as hard to prime. I also spray painted the outside. I also 3-D printed my own parts and replaced some of the parts so the gun has a bigger shell hold
Coop's complaints about the grip are also assuming that you're running without gloves. I'd be wearing a pair of fingerless bicycle gloves if I were to go to a game with this blaster. That's my opinion, but having those gloves to pad my hands against the rougher parts of the blaster and prevent sweaty hands from letting my grasp on the blaster slip, and I'd go fingerless so my fingertips would still be exposed to do more dextrous tasks like pulling the trigger or loading shells into the blaster.
Its so funny looking that operating the lever action pulls the whole trigger off with it, but then puts it back in place and is still able to fire the blaster
I'd buy this if it wasn't 3D printed. I get they need to for cost reasons but if I'm dropping over 200 bucks on a blaster I want it to be smooth and reliable
@@hallepeek6465 I did end up getting one and while it feels solid it's definitely still fairly rough and some of my shells don't work properly due to them being a little off. Overall very happy but I basically have the exact issues I was expecting, I also have similar problems with the Spring Thunder, but again it's still pretty awesome despite the minor flaws
Be nice if the lever bow was either straight or convex, instead of concave. Would be more comfortable to prime in the typical fashion, plus a wrap or gloves would help further.
For those unaware on what im talking about, Shellington aka Remington and Wingchester aka Winchester. The bottom of a bullet casing aka brass or shell is called the rem so you can already see what they did there and I dont need to explain the Wing one, Pure genious
Hey frank just wanted to say I love ur new profile pic! And I’m glad to see that you are content with yourself and that your health is doing good physically and emotionally
Ik it’s a performance issue but having jams is cool especially because there are different types of jams that usual nerf guns, Ik it’s a nusence but having the occasional failure to feed, failure to eject, ect is cool
There's no doubt about it, shell ejection blasters are always fun to use and to watch.

It's surprisingly accurate to a real lever gun even down to the capatability with the short ammo. Alot of lever guns need short nosed bullets.

Jaw dropping scene of Coop reenacting Texas Ranger with a Henry rifle. Circa 2022.
Coop this honestly hits HARDER then both the Max Stryker and Nexus Pro(Pro line of blasters) By a good 25FPS
