I've lived in Queens my entire life, and while seeing stuff like this is funny, actually living here sucks unless you're making over 100k a year. I totally understand the appeal of this city from an outsider's perspective, but honestly, this place is a literal overcrowded cesspool and overall QoL is very low. My fiance and I are looking to finally move in about 6 months and I cannot fucking wait to gtfo of here!

I don’t know how people live and work there. Been there quite about 30-40 days over the last two years and I’m fed up with tourists, shirtless guys playing flutes, and the dark/cold nature of the locals. Just a depressing place to be for more than a few days, once the newness wears off.
