I love where immersive audio is going - and the amount of investment producers and studios are putting in... it's definitely something we should all be looking towards. PMCs are incredible speakers too!
I do Atmos Mixing with an entire PMC setup as well in NY, the studio isnt open to the public. But every room in this place is PMC heaven. Hearing Sublime or The Temptations in an Atmos studio is unreal..
I’ve been mixing 2 channel with simular Sony headphones for 3 years now while I build my 4th studio in life. The wh xm2’s is what I use. I Tryed the xm3’s and xm4’s but the lower mids were muddy no matter how much I eq’ them. The xm2’s do the Sony 360 as well. With some slight subtractive eq and low end boast so signal is near flat to ear. I’ve actually had the best mixes of my life. lol. I couldn’t mix with the xm3’s or xm4’s.
amazing studio amazing episode learnd alot again! crazy monitor setup its impressive how mixing is changing. im always blown away about all these setups how they routed how they put together! thanks warren for this amazing video!
Was just thinking about you Warren and there you was in my recommended videos. How can I pm/email you? I have something I'd really like to be able to ask you about. Another awesome video too, and what a jaw on the floor studio!! Terrible for my gear lust lol 😂🙏🎸🕉️
Great video. Love the mix of immersive rooms you are doing. And I think as much as I love Atmos it is not the only game out there. He is working on so many things . In so many formats. I am assuming because it is something I am working through. Having to switch to The writing monitoring system he is talking about is probably because of the latency involved in atmos etc mixing. It is really hard to put anything down for me at 512. And it is a big deal Apple,Sony and Dolby all sound different. And do binaural different. The line about there are no stereo sources in nature is also a very important thing. The more you get away from stereo sources the better it sounds . That is for me everyone is different and that is what makes this so much fun. Thanks again to the both of you.

Here to stay
There's no denying that immersive audio is here to stay

Thanks ever so much for sharing
WOW some gear. Hes dialed into his thing for sure.
The analog hardware to my ears and many others always eclipses dsp software that just cant replicate the mojo. UAD, WAVES as examples.
Thanks Self-Law!
@@thegroove2000 I like a combination of both!

Thanks ever so much! I really appreciate your amazing insight! Yes, we are trying demonstrate all kinds of rooms at all different price points!
It’s brilliant that you can take that speaker setup anywhere! You could sell the exact specs and allow others to experiment in open or closed spaces.
I've been away and now I'm back! Love this!
Welcome back!
Seriously how friggin cool is that shit...OMG...go dude is all I can say...friggin proud of you...top setup...love the scaffolding...✌😀💜

Future looks bright
5:30-6 Minute marks I got distracted by the hand on the left behind Clark's Chair lol
Great interview! But... who's the guys hiding behind J. Clark's chair? 🧐👀😁
LOOK THE GHOST IS BACK AT 25:26. ABOVE THE MONITOR. WARREN RUN.
Haha that’s Erica’s hand
More Atmos video please
Always more to come! Haha
YOOOOOO THERE IS A GHOST HAND AT 2:42 THE BOTTOM LEFT BEHIND THE GEAR.
LOL..YEAH I WAS LIKE IS THAT A CAT??..THEN IT TURNED INTO A FIST..
Haha that was either Eric or Conor’s hand
Haha indeed NZU
@@Producelikeapro ha ha ha.
@@thegroove2000 the guys often have their shadow in the video or refection with confuses people! Ha
Pay no attention to the hand behind the chair.
:)
Thanks Audrey!
So cryptic about the C15 but its just 2 sine waves in fm with feedback through a comb filter and some fx. Not that mystical... Peace
