David Tennant was my favourite Doctor of all time. He was a huge part of my childhood, he could make me laugh and he could make me cry. The Tenth Era was a true adventure, he made me fall in love with Doctor Who. I love Christopher Eccleston and Matt Smith but David Tennant will always have a special and the biggest place in my heart
Same. Also I feel like nobody respects Rose and her relationship with the Doctor, but what they dont understand, is Rose is his first friend after the Time War end and all of his family is dead. Shes the first person that he takes the chance to help, and the first person who he takes the risk to love after the Time War.
It's actually just a quote I stumbled upon the other day and really liked it. I wasn't sure if I should use it, because I wasn't sure if it was easy enough to hear/understand, but it seemed appropriate, so I went ahead. It's from S2, at the end of The Age of Steel, when Rose is saying goodbye to Mickey. He's telling her they've had a good time together, and she says, "All those years just sitting there, imagining what we'd do one day. We never saw this, did we?"
It's Rose talking, though it's actually from a clip where she's talking to Mickey and says, "All those years just sitting there, imagining what we'd do one day. We never saw this, did we?" I thought it sounded appropriate.
Every Doctor brings his own little special flare, that bit of magic to each episode. But that saddest thing about every Doctor is, no matter how great they are, no matter how much you love them, their song (drat the Ood.. there's no other way to describe each Doctor's time now!) will eventually come to an end, but what's great is a new song will starting playing right after :3 We miss you David.
Incredible! What a brilliant video...so well edited and the music is perfect. Now I'm sad all over again at the thought of losing our beloved Ten. How could anyone else compare?
Okay, like I just said to you on Twitter, way to make me bawl like a baby! Oh, my sweet baby Jeebus. *sniffles and clings to Ten* DON'T GOOOOOO! *sob* Thanks for that video. Really. It was just perfection.
Man, what a tear jerker. I am going to miss DT so much. I feel a bit sorry for Matt Smith. He has a tough act to follow. David Tennant will always be MY Doctor.
There really are no words no matter how many variations I try to string together that can even put a dent into how completely and utterly brilliant and beautiful and remarkable this video is. It is beyond amazing.
I'm in tears, literally. This was so beautiful and so so so worthy of Ten. The clips both audio and visual were perfect. Ominous enough as we see the end coming but perfect as well as a tribute to him and the people he cared about. Lovely, absolutely lovely...and now i'm going to watch it again 5/5 i don't want him to go! :'(
Thank you very much! The quote is Rose, from S2, at the end of The Age of Steel, when she's saying goodbye to Mickey. He's telling her they've had a good time together, and she says, "All those years just sitting there, imagining what we'd do one day. We never saw this, did we?" I thought it sounded like an appropriate quote for her and the Doctor, too.
I'm crying! Seriously! Ten just is so...he is so...crazy, not mad, crazy. Crazy by a serious way, crazy by a sad way, crazy by a sarcastic way. Oh, I say just: Crazy by way of Ten.
He was my favorite doctor, and always will be he played the role so well, and he made it so much more fun and adventurous, he knew how to make and you smile, laugh, cry, all doctors made us cry but THE Doctor (David Tennant), MY Doctor was the most heartbreaking i only started with Christopher Eccleston, he was the first doctor i watched and the only seasons i can find are the newest ones, David Tennant Will always be my HERO, let him be yours too :) he will always have a special place in my heart
Thank you for a brilliant video. The best parts for me were at 0:55 where the Doctor is holding back tears and the volume of the music increases; and the hilarious Donna saying "You want to mate?" which makes it that much harder now because of how her time with the Doctor ended. :(
I started to see Doctor who last month and now I saw the end of ten the first time. Your video makes me cry again. It's so sad. Thank's for it so much! TEN FOREVER!!
You perfectly showed David's portrayal of "The Doctor" and you actually made me choke up and that is saying a lot , because I've watched a lot of DW tributes , but my favorite ones are definitely the David Tennant ones and this is now one of my top favorites, well done :D
Aww, thank you! And thanks for subscribing! That means a lot to me, 'cause I love your "And then he'll be gone" video, and your Farewell to David Tennant. They're both brilliant. Yay!
Wow. The combination of the music with the video was perfect. I think when the 10th incarnation of the Doctor dies, I'll come back and watch this to make it all better. Thank you.
Oh my god...I really thought I can live without the tenth doctor....and now I am sitting here and cry. I like Matt, but Ten will always be my doctor. A wonderful video!
This is brilliant! It's very touching and therefore a perfect tribut to David, who is a brilliant and very touching actor. Everyone should bring so much happyness and warmth in the world like this Doctor :)
wow... that was beautiful, i'm crying as i type this. great tribute to the 10th Doctor. Matt Smith isn't horrible, but David will forever be my Doctor. thank you for this video :)
This is the most amazing thing I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Brilliantly edited and heart wrenchingly moving. I cannot express how much this video means to me. Did you know that I have made a playlist over the course of 2+ years that by now contains over 400 fantastic fanvideos of all my shows and my absolute favorite one to this day remains to be this one. I can't believe it's over 6 years old now. It's really is magical, what you can do with your editing talent. I know that this comment is very late and chances are you won't be seeing it but by the slim hope that you do I'd just like to say this: this is flawless. It's fantastic, brilliant, wonderful, gorgeous, emotional, raw and so much more. I just have so much love for this video, and for you. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world, we are all very grateful. ❤️
You know what I just thought of. I'm not glamorizing suicide in any way. Just keep that in mind. But how about a troubled teen for a companion and after she's seen all of the death and bad things in the universe. Sadly it's enough to push her over the edge. And she leaves a net for the doctor on the tardis before leaving. And when he's trying to track her down, her parents are devastated. And she's gone. Or he. Not being sexist but most of the companions are girls. And it would be the most heartbreaking thing because the doctor realizes how bad the universe is and he never really thought it was bad enough to send someone over the edge. And that shatters his heart. I promise I'm not Moffat in disguise.
Just got the July SFX down here in Australia and found the link to this vid.... WOW ... this is the best 10th Doctor tribute video I have ever watched... it really hits home how close we are to losing number 10... I am not sure what I am going to do ... I don't know if I am going to continue on with the 11th... after all DT is my Doctor.... Thankyou for this ... so much
Love the video. The voiceovers...the overlays...they're all just beautiful. My favorite bit is the last section dedicated to all of his companions...they're just so brilliantly done. Question though, and I've seen this scene in other videos but can't seem to find it in the episode: at around 2:48 Rose and the Doctor are running, looks like from the episode Tooth and Claw. However I've skimmed through that entire episode and haven't found it. Is it a deleted scene?
That is actually what gave me the idea! 100%. When you posted it up on FP, I immediate made the first part of this video, and I've been tweaking it ever since. Haha, wow. I'm glad you noticed that! I actually just commented on the boards right before I saw this comment, telling you that your desktop had been my inspiration!
Oh dear I was just sobbing into my cereal for a moment....man you're SO GOOD AT YOUR OVERLAYS WOMAN! lol! That was breathtaking, and such a wonderful tribute to him- and so great that both standard and new quotes that aren't really used much were combined! Excellent, 5 stars and favourited:)
I just watched through the videos on UA-cam and I got here. The first sec. of this video catched me a touched me deep in my heart. This video is incredible. It is taking your hurt and make is making it ache...the goosebumbs are still on my body
*crying* I'll miss him so much... Ten is, and will always by my Doctor... I'm dreading it, but at the same time I can't wait to see what David does next, cause he's just brilliant in everything.
This is so beautiful! All the quotes and the overlays were fantastic and I just loved from 1:44-1:57! I dont think there will be a single dry eye in the country after watching his last episode! 5* and faved!
this is a truly beautiful video. absolutely lovely. with the music and the editing, you have created a wonderfully emotional farewell to Ten. excellent job!!
Oh my god. Thank you! I've been wondering about that all day. It sounded like Rose but I couldn't remember and I've been searching "rose tyler quote we never saw this did we" then replacing rose with "doctor who" and "billie piper". Never found anything. Brilliant adding that, it was perfect.
This is just BRILLIANT! Absolutely beautiful, the subject matter is beautiful too but this just tops everything! :D David Tennant, 10th Doctor, will always be my doctor. This video tribute is completely BRILLIANT! (Everytime I use that word, it's 10's voice in my head :D)
Cant agree more with you. Matt Smith did awesome job in these 3 seasons, but 10ant was simply phenomenal, for me he is one of my favorite roles ever played on television screens (not including movies, only TV Shows). Only difference is that I fell in love with his companionship with Donna as they were simply a perfect match! Also will never stop missing Ten.
I was so sad when he left. I actually knew he was going to have to leave because I watched the season after it had already ended and started with Christopher Eccleston. I hated when David left. I cried so hard my head started to hurt. The worst part was when he had his meltdown at the end when he knew he'd have to save Donna's grandfather. He was brilliant and he made me cry. Best Doctor ever. I really like Matt Smith but I think it's impossible for him to top David. David was amazing.
Oh my god, this was so amazing. Really, just... guh. Everything about this flowed so well, the voiceovers were perfect and oh, man. The music! Zimmer's music is ridiculously wonderful. I loved this, I really did! Wonderful job! :D
Yes and I reckon he's well over the 1000 year mark by now..he was over 900 years old in his 7th life (Sylvester McCoy) and in the BBC books he celebrated a birthday over the 1000 year mark in one of those stories. That was in his 8th life!
One of the best 10th Doctor vids I've seen. Well done! I liked the show with Chris Eccleston, and Matt Smith is 'meh', but David is the one who made me fall in love with the Doctor. The one who STILL makes me laugh and cry.
I'm speechless...I'm used to get emotional after watching a video but there...*cries* All the quotes and the music and the clips...everything was perfect ^^ You're one of the most (or the most) fantastic vidder around here...*claps*
BRILLIANT FANTASTIC SUPERB!!! (and sad, please don't die Doctor 10!) Awesome video, well done indeedy! One of the best I have ever seen, and I have seen a few!!! Bravo!!
Why do I even come back to this video, why do you do this to me? You did a fantastic job and I love every piece of this but it always makes me cry. I miss 10 so much, sure I also like Matt Smith but David Tennant is still my doctor. Only one more episode with him and then we will probably never see him as the doctor again. Now I am sobbing, anyway, let's hope the 50th will be great.
Wow! That's amazing. That seems like an odd reaction, an odd thing to say when someone tells you you've made them cry ("Really? Cool!), but in this case, I'm honored! Thank you for all the lovely things you said :) Gosh, I'm going to be all kinds of miserable and inconsolable when that final episode goes out. Luckily it'll be during the Christmas/New Years holiday, because I may not be able to properly function for a few days as I mourn, haha.
Thanks! The whole Pearl Harbor soundtrack is beautiful, but I think I used 'Heart of a Volunteer', but only about half of it (I cut out the first half or something of the song). I'm glad you enjoyed it! You'll have to watch it again if I get the audio back, since there's also some voice-overs and what have you, heh.
Wow, that was... just *stunning* hun, WOW! I love instrumental videos, but this is by far the best I've ever seen! I loved every bit of audio you used and the clips matched the mood perfectly! You have such talent, I just can't even grasp how amazingly brilliant you are XD! So keep up the great work! 5* and faved!
Amazing tribute. And very fitting to. After what he did in Waters of Mars I have a feeling this is going to be a kind of real death even though we know he's regenerating.
And by the way, that was a perfect video realization of that desktop background I had a bit ago. Remember the one with the Doctor lying on the floor that said, "Everybody knows that everyone dies, and nobody knows it like the Doctor. Because it's his turn soon." Oooh, never thought I'd see that in video form and here it is. Love it!
amazing just amazing the best video I think I have ever seen. I will miss david in the doctor spot and will cry when he regenarates because it will be actually quit sad
@Perinlyn Funny, I was thinking that they made too many references to his earlier incarnations. There was the montage of earlier Doctors and companions in the first episode, his library card in Vampires of Venice (ok, that one was funny), "reverse the polarity of the jelly baby," and meeting Sarah Jane and Jo on SJA. Probably a few others, too.
Don't get me wrong, 10 and 11 were amazing, but 9 is my top favourite. He was my first Doctor and stunned me with his raw emotion; here he was, fresh out of the Time War, and yet he still found time to smile. He had funny moments, and sad moments, I love his relationship with Rose, and how she changed him for the better after he became a bitter war veteran. Miss you 9, and wish you were coming back for the 50th
Matt IS the Doctor. And so was David. And so were all the others. Splendid fellows, all of them. They make the part their own and I'm really glad they do. I love Nine, I love Ten, I love Eleven and have them be together on screen would be the most wonderful birthday present. Alas...

I'm like crying and smiling at the same time. Me dad is looking at me like I'm mad. Like if you miss David as the Doctor.
10 will always be my Doctor
Tennant acting is just so perfect
it has been 7 years but i am still crying everytime i see the tenth doctor
Same 😢
Same except its been almost 10
"everything has its time and everything ends" prob my favorite quote
It's Rose talking, though it's actually from a clip where she's talking to Mickey and says, "All those years just sitting there, imagining what we'd do one day. We never saw this, did we?" I thought it sounded appropriate.

Man, what a tear jerker. I am going to miss DT so much. I feel a bit sorry for Matt Smith. He has a tough act to follow. David Tennant will always be MY Doctor.
I have a rule, If it makes me cry, I have to like and watch it every other day. Very well done, and bravo.
Tabby-in-the- TARDIS12 I'm glad I don't have that rule, because otherwise I'd have so many videos to watch I wouldn't make it through the day.
My Doctor. Thank you Tennant.
Yup, it is a deleted scene from Tooth and Claw. It can be found in the S2 DVD Extras.
And I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
WHY DO I KEEP WATCHING THIS SAD STUFF *sobs*
I feel bad for the people in 20010 that might have thought The Doctor was really going to die.
2009*
Antonio Dee I still believe it was 20010!😆
JabberJack 20010? Dang what am I holding some kinda time phone?
That was Elton from Love and Monsters who said "we forget because we must"
River: "everybody dies"
9: "EVERYBODY LIVES!!!"
There really are no words no matter how many variations I try to string together that can even put a dent into how completely and utterly brilliant and beautiful and remarkable this video is. It is beyond amazing.
the BEST 10th Doctor Who tribute!!!!!
Not only is it saved as a favorite in YT... its saved as a favorite in my heart.
I'm in tears, literally. This was so beautiful and so so so worthy of Ten. The clips both audio and visual were perfect. Ominous enough as we see the end coming but perfect as well as a tribute to him and the people he cared about. Lovely, absolutely lovely...and now i'm going to watch it again 5/5

I bursted in tears at "It is his turn" point. Beautiful tribute. Beautiful.
I'm crying! Seriously! Ten just is so...he is so...crazy, not mad, crazy. Crazy by a serious way, crazy by a sad way, crazy by a sarcastic way. Oh, I say just: Crazy by way of Ten.

Oh....just. It's just so beautiful. And the music...*tears up a little* 5 stars well deserved my dear!
I really enjoyed that, almost brought a tear to my eye, and i'm a 41 year old man!
wow... that was beautiful, i'm crying as i type this. great tribute to the 10th Doctor. Matt Smith isn't horrible, but David will forever be my Doctor. thank you for this video :)

It was wonderfully painful and poignant. You have my awe as a video editor and my respect as a fellow 10 fan. Thank you.
WOW... omg... this is amazing!!!!I didn't cry for a very long time for a doctor who video... but you, made me cry a lot! he was the best!
*bawling all over the keyboard* Amazing editing! A great tribute to a great Doctor
You know what I just thought of. I'm not glamorizing suicide in any way. Just keep that in mind. I promise I'm not Moffat in disguise.
The Doctor You say that, bout Amy and Rory jumped off a building. So....anythings possible?😕
Thankyou for this ... so much

You made an incredible touching piece of art... Ten is long gone by now, and I still miss him...
I almost cried. And that is saying something. I've only ever cried at one video about DW and I almost cried at this one. This is really great.
Nolaespoir, this is amazing. Seriously. You deserve a lot of credit! This is breathtaking! I love how you include the comedic lines at the end!!!
I just watched through the videos on UA-cam and I got here. The first sec. of this video catched me a touched me deep in my heart.
This video is incredible. It is taking your hurt and make is making it ache...the goosebumbs are still on my body
lovely video, so sad, but amazing, the voiceovers were so perfect!
OMG this is just amazing!!!
You made me cry
Your editing skills are awesome!!
Supurb. Bravo. This is by far the best I've seen. There is nothing so poingnant as the death of a beloved hero.
i got so involved with this show i cried you will always be greatly missed
Cant agree more with you. WAAAAAAAAHHHHH ;___; this vid really made it sink in that he's leaving...brilliant editing... wonderful job!
Yes and I reckon he's well over the 1000 year mark by now..he was over 900 years old in his 7th life (Sylvester McCoy) and in the BBC books he celebrated a birthday over the 1000 year mark in one of those stories. That was in his 8th life!
Amazing video. Great job. David Tennant is the best and will never be beat. Though he is now 'gone' he will never be forgotten. Long live 10!
Best tribute to the Doctor I've seen so far.
I am in awe of your work and this video just makes me bawl like a baby. *sniffs* Amazing!!
One of the best 10th Doctor vids I've seen. Well done! I liked the show with Chris Eccleston, and Matt Smith is 'meh', but David is the one who made me fall in love with the Doctor. The one who STILL makes me laugh and cry.
I'm speechless...I'm used to get emotional after watching a video but there...*cries*
All the quotes and the music and the clips...everything was perfect ^^
You're one of the most (or the most) fantastic vidder around here...*claps*
BRILLIANT FANTASTIC SUPERB!!! (and sad, please don't die Doctor 10!)
Awesome video, well done indeedy! One of the best I have ever seen, and I have seen a few!!!
Bravo!!
OMG this is great I almost cried I'm really going to miss David as the Doctor
thanks for making this vid
Nolaspoir, I'm back AGAIN watching this video! It is truly amazing!!!
Watching in 2015!
Oh my gosh! That was brilliant! That was so beautifully edited and a great idea to make a farewell trailer. Just amazing!
This vid really helps ease the dread. I've been so scared for The Doctor. Have to keep remembering David will live on.
Gah! That was simply beautiful! I know it's the way of things, and Tennant has to move on, but oh my....it's going to break me. *cries*
Wow! That's amazing. That seems like an odd reaction, an odd thing to say when someone tells you you've made them cry ("Really? Cool!), but in this case, I'm honored! Thank you for all the lovely things you said :)
Gosh, I'm going to be all kinds of miserable and inconsolable when that final episode goes out. Luckily it'll be during the Christmas/New Years holiday, because I may not be able to properly function for a few days as I mourn, haha.
Excellent video. Well done. You really captured his Doctor. I think Matt Smith will be brilliant, but David was one of a kind.
Brilliant. David (& his various companions) will be sorely missed.
That was such a gorgeous video!! Great Job!! I miss David SO much.
WOWEE! That is fantastic. Even today it brings a tear to my eye. The tenth Doctor will and always will be the greatest!
This is so perfect. And it just broke my heart. *sobbing*
Amazing tribute. And very fitting to. After what he did in Waters of Mars I have a feeling this is going to be a kind of real death even though we know he's regenerating.
Great job. He just can't be replaced. He was the best.
Love it!
This was so beautiful. Voiceovers, scenes.. just everything. TT.TT ♥
amazing just amazing the best video I think I have ever seen. I will miss david in the doctor spot and will cry when he regenarates because it will be actually quit sad
One the best tributes I've seen in a long, long time.
That was... brilliant. Just brilliant. You made me cry =(
@Perinlyn Funny, I was thinking that they made too many references to his earlier incarnations. There was the montage of earlier Doctors and companions in the first episode, his library card in Vampires of Venice (ok, that one was funny), "reverse the polarity of the jelly baby," and meeting Sarah Jane and Jo on SJA. Probably a few others, too.
Wow...
I'm not much of a Ten fan really but this video just made me tear up. Fantastic job :)
That is such an amazing thing to hear, especially coming from you! Your videos are always so amazing! So thank you, really. You're very kind :)
That was so heartbraking. Thanks for making this video ! It was just brilliant :-)
Well done! Once we know what happens to the 10th doctor, loads of people will view this, i'm sure. And cry!
Matt IS the Doctor. And so was David. And so were all the others. Splendid fellows, all of them.
They make the part their own and I'm really glad they do. I love Nine, I love Ten, I love Eleven and have them be together on screen would be the most wonderful birthday present. Alas...
