The 10th is my Doctor. Love him to bits. Just something about him that is special. All of them are special, and everyone has their 'own' Doctor but 10th is awesome!
+Cryer24597 I can understand how Tom Baker is a favourite doctor to many people... but from the classic era it's Jon Pertwee for me. I just can't help it! And it's not important anyway. They ALL are THE DOCTOR and so it should be! They are all the BEST in one way or the other :)
10 will always be my Doctor. He was just so brilliant and heroic and.. broken. David Tennant played him with such vigour but portrayed the hurt and suffering of all the Doctors before him especially those involved in the time war. I miss Ten so much. If we could have him back I would be the happiest whovian ever.
When I am old I will tell a story to my children and grandchildren of a man. The greatest man ever. The man who walks with stars in his eyes. The man who saves worlds the man who burns so so bright. The man who snatches us from danger and shows us that we matter. He once said I never met anyone who wasn't important but he shows us how small we are but then helps us rise so high. I have never met him but I know he walks among the stars. Thank you doctor.
people think that DW is a nice sci-fi show for kids that teaches them about science and has nice fancy aliens. HAVE THEY EVEN SEEN THIS SHOW BECAUSE THATS NOT WHAT I THINK IT IS. THIS SHOW TEACHES PEOPLE THAT YOU NEVER GET WHAT YOU WANT AND WILL ALWAYS BE SAD BECAUSE STEVEN MOFFAT/RTD WILL ALWAYS RIP YOUR HEART OUT.
+gudee Dahab Doctor Who is not for kids indeed, try watch Sarah Jane Adventures. Doctor Who is adult, maybe when you grow up and whatch it again you will understand many things you haven't.
You know what makes this world so much better for me? Making myself believe this man is real, he actually travels the universe -our universe- in his blue box, he saves us... Every. Single. Time. The lone survivor of his home planet. He's real to me... And even though people tell me he's not, I don't believe them. He is real.
Yeah. At the end of the day simply imagining the idea that there's an improbable and determined, wandering savior risking his life to save our planet and the cosmos while he's at it in a rickety, flying Police box is just...fantastic
He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful
Oh, how I miss David Tennant as the Doctor. Thank you for awakening some wonderful memories for me. Now I'm off to rewatch his entire tenure. Ha! TENure. I love it when that happens!
I have been watching through all of the revival series, all the way from Rose episode 1. Last night I said farewell to Ten, and it was the end of a delightful song, and the start of the next. Tennant was so great as the Doctor, and I cherish his memory.
I have to say that the 10th Doctor is my favorite. There is something about his facial expressions, and the way he walks. Heck, everything about him says Doctor. He plays the part very well. I still go back and watch the seasons with him. I cried so hard when he said in his final episode 'I don't want to go' with tears in his eyes. It was the most emotional and memorable regeneration of them all. I do love to believe that he is real. People do think I'm a bit crazy, but until someone can bring me undeniable proof that he does not exist, I will continue to believe he does. I tend to believe in all sorts of things that are supposed to be impossible. But I love idea that he could be real.
when i was 16, in 2013, this video was my favourite thing in the whole wide world. i had just finished watching the Tenth's run and the sadness was hitting hard, even after the Eleventh's fun times, and this edit took the cake for me. i eventually moved out to other fandoms and i stopped watching this video. until today, in 2023, in my mid-twenties, after the Fourteenth's special. thank you for making my teen years special, i guess. ❤️
It’s been 10 years now since David left. Personally doctor who hasn’t been the same since, it’s also the year Russel left. Those two made dr who my favourite show and it hasn’t and never will be the same again
David Tennant owned the show in a way no one has ever done before since RTD brought it back, I even read somewhere that there was talk from the BBC of stopping airing Doctor Who once David Tennant left, thank the Norns that didn't happen, but 10th will forever be MY Doctor, not my first but MINE.
I think you mean dare XD Also no that isn't completely true. He dares not go back because of the people he has let down, people that have died for him since they believed in him that would hurt to remember and to look back on. Yes all the lives he has touched along with those he has left behind would also be something to not want to look back on.
HarbingerofFire Yeah, sorry about the typo. Mobile sucks sometimes. But I agree. I just said I think part of it is that he's afraid to stay when people are happy because he knows how it will end. Because like mentioned in this video, that's what happens when you touch the Doctor. Even for a second.
yeah. the doctor - especially post-rose ten - carries an unbelievable burden. he has a very serious guilt complex. no matter how many lives he saves, there are always those he can't save. in his mind, the dead ones pretty much cancel out the living ones. he believes they all deserved a chance at life and that if he had never known them, they would be living that at the moment. he is an amazing man though, and he runs around trying to save people. the only person who can't see his amazing aspects is the doctor himself. but it is the guilt, combined with the loss of his beloved ones that leads to his downfall at the end. david tennant's acting and RTD's unmatched characterization create this absolutely beautiful and incredibly tragic arc for ten.
mimiHTcat do you think the doctor believes in his own saying about the good and the bad in life? or do you think he was talking to himself as well when he said it
I think he believes in the 11th's saying. That the bad never spoils the good, but the good never outweighs the bad. Unless that's what you're talking about, then I think that he was mostly talking to himself. Personally, I think that 9 was when the Doctor started to crack. In the beginning of 9, he was a bit ruthless, especially in the episode when the Daleks come back, and it wipes out an entire military base. When he's talking to it, I noticed he got so much more violent, and so angry. And when they came back, he was willing to kill every person on Earth to kill the Daleks as well. But Rose was his way of healing. He got better with her, and he even states it when he leaves the Doctor clone with Rose. When he lost her, he became so depressed. And when Donna forgot, he tried to give up saving humans forever. He failed, but he tried. Then the Master came back, and he gave up his life for Wilbur. He then made a fair well round, saving most of his companions, helping Jack, and seeing Rose for one last time. And so came the 11th. He ran with the ponds and Riversong, and it was wonderful. He forgot most of his worries! But, then came the damned weeping angels. It zapped them back in time, and the Doctor died. Not physically, but emotionally. That time, he officially gave up. Would I blame him for anything he has done? Never in 12 lifetimes. Do I envy him? No. Do I feel pity for him? While sad, never. But I'll say this: He may be the universes greatest hero, or worst villain, but he has cried. Enough to water a Rose. Enough to fill 2 Ponds. Enough to make a River flow. Enough to make a Noble forget that land was ever there. Enough to drown a Jones, and keep another afloat. Enough to lose 2 Smiths. Enough to let a Captain sail forever. All people break. And one day, so will the Doctor. But until then, he'll just keep on running. Allons-y!
when you a doctor who fan you never forget your First 10th doctor was my first doctor it was hard for me see him go but we will never forget you devid tenant you were amazing
Katrin, I have watched so many of your videos... and they make me cry, laugh, sing, dance, and fall with emotion... This... yes... Thank you... (thinks) Ridiculous how much sentiment is attached in fandoms... (chuckles)
This is a seriously great video. Well-done. The best part is that it's about as spoiler-free as a compilation video of this nature could be. Like I would show this to someone who hasn't seen the show to try to get them to watch it (along with maybe Gladstone's Cracked article, "How Doctor Who Became My Religion") Just brilliant. Allons-y!
How am I just now discovering this?! It's AMAZING!!! Tennant has always been and will always be my FAVORITE Doctor!! I miss him terribly in this role!! Your tribute was just beyond words AMAZING!! LOVED every second!!!
I'm applauding. Not many UA-cam videos can make me do that. An amazing tribute to 10. Honestly, this is so well done. I've got chills. This makes me miss him even more.
I've replayed this vid about 45.3 million times... It's so good to see this video getting more popular everyday. Most people like the music videos because they like their songs, but I like this video because it tells the story of a man on a mission. He is doomed to fail from the second adventure, but he continues until he cannot even do or say anything but "I don't want to go". For that, thank you for making this great video and I hope you can break more people's locked heart of missing the tenth doctor because for this video, you must miss the doctor, then watch this and love it to death... 🤧
+Cryer24597 Sir, don't bash other's opinions just because your own happens to oppose their's. I personally agree with them as well as most of who have left comments here. And if you haven't noticed, the 'minority' is the majority in the comment section of this wonderful video.
I was just thinking of how much I miss seeing David and the Tenth Doctor last night, and when then I wake up to this! Argh... so many emotions! Beautiful work.
Absolutely amazing! I miss David Tennant so much, he showed amazing emotion and made you care about the program. Wish he was still the Doctor today... Thanks for the amazing video!
Even if now i'm making music videos and tribute after...three years of this I still continue to watch this and your others tributes, thanks. These are absolutely fantastic. (cit.)
Do you ever think you'd do a tribute to the ninth doctor? I loved his era and he never seems to get any appreciation. I think you could do a great job of showing off what makes him just as wonderful as ten and eleven :)
You manage to help reach back to a character I absolutely love. It's been a long time since I've rewatched a Ten episode and now I miss him all over again, his gorgeousness and his good bits and bad bits and even bad episodes (love how you've utilised Love and Monsters here). You really do make the best fan videos.
Dear KatrinDepp, your masterpiece of editing and love for DT reminded me of how much fun it was to watch the Tenth Doctor and his adventures. I miss him soooo much.Thank you.
I was thrilled to see another Tenth Doctor tribute by YOU!!!! Thank You so much...your DW & Broadchurch (wow) videos are wonderful!!! And this one is just perfect.....I miss him, too.
I really enjoyed this. its a video that can sum up doctor who! it sums up how he is, who he is, and that no matter what he moves forward even after touchimg so many lives! Very good job the music also fit quite well
I love you forever for making this. FANTASTIC job! You've captured everything we know and love about the doctor. Oh, how I miss David Tennant! Off to watch this video again, now... and then maybe 10 more times in a row for good measure.
i love theses types of video's when there is more than 1 emotion in it, first you make the Doctor look like a BADAAS then you make him look like a great person this video is amazing :)
Thank you so much for posting this; you have an incredible gift! I never would have thought anyone could capture how much I enjoyed the Tenth Doctor until you posted that.
The 10th is my Doctor. Love him to bits. Just something about him that is special. All of them are special, and everyone has their 'own' Doctor but 10th is awesome!
Same here, with both those comments.
Ron Klak agreed!
Anakinfan12002 Tennant was the best of them all, still is and will ever be
Tennant will always be in my heart
+Cryer24597 I can understand how Tom Baker is a favourite doctor to many people... but from the classic era it's Jon Pertwee for me. I just can't help it!
And it's not important anyway. They ALL are THE DOCTOR and so it should be! They are all the BEST in one way or the other :)
10 will always be my Doctor. He was just so brilliant and heroic and.. broken. sorry but that is kind of cringy, but i really respect your love for the tv show
So your going to tell them about a fictional person that only exist in a tv show called doctor who. and all the great things he have done
people think that DW is a nice sci-fi show for kids that teaches them about science and has nice fancy aliens.

This is my doctor... not nine, not eleven, but ten, because he encapsulates the true character better than I've seen the others ever do.
I MISS THE TENTH DOCTOR SO MUCH...
this is actually one of the best tributes i've seen, it perfectly depicts the tenth doctor. i miss him so much :'
I literally cry every time I see him.
David tennant can keep this sadness in his eyes.
Made me cry :( I miss him.
You've captured the reason why I love 10 so much in less than 4 minutes, amazing

David Tennant, you will always live on in our hearts and souls. Matt Smith could not replace you, and Capaldi will never equal you.
