im pretty sure there is a paper in the oriignal scp cb game that refers to some spiral that makes your guy immortal and let him ''save the game''. From anyone elses perspective he perfectly goes out from the foundation in super fast time, atleast recontaining a few scps while doing so
@@theultimatetrashman887 yeah batesee goes into more depth but the note is a black and white repeated over and over in a spiral shape with the center of the spiral saying gray, implying that the experiment the player character did without authorization( hence the dclass demotion) fused his perspective with ours. so while he isnt aware of the 4th wall unless you get a cup of that from the vending scp, he is able to see things like we do when he dies since we dont die with him giving him unlmited do overs.

@newmeta2668 they don't have eardrums either. They notice movements by spikes that are all over their spine. Sounds and movements create soundwaves, so these spikes just catch soundwaves. In a good scenario, they will be aware of 066. In worse scenarios, 066 or 939's would kill/harm each other. 066 is still capable of hurting spikes by resonance, and 939's have teeth and claws.
This for some reason is actually accurate to the Scp:CB lore. Basically your a d-class that has the ability to reload things like it is game. So this is approved as accurate gameplay

I actually did do a run like this to avoid SCP 049 early in LCZ.
Funnily enough, that's the route I normally take when playing this game since I also like to avoid 049 spawning in LCZ (mandatory for THIS run, also). I don't know why I never thought of the fact that 914 is straight up optional with this route lol.

The first time I found out you start coughing from the gas leak in 939, it caught me so off guard and I literally sat in the elevator for like 10 mins to see if I was going to die bc I thought I must have gotten poisoned by something prior to going down there and wanted to know if I needed to restart (I got the blurry vision from the gas leak super early too, so it wasn't just the coughing but both things), it does eventually kill you but it takes forever and then you just get a message about there being a gas leak down there on the death screen. It's nothing to worry about in casual runs bc of how long it takes but the coughing and blurred vision is honestly a nice touch to make it more challenging.
When that happened, I was worried that *somehow* the disease book got me infected even with the jade ring equipped, because I spammed the notebook fairly shortly beforehand.
I always kinda forget about SCP:CB until another video randomly pops into my recommended, and then I remember how cool Unity breach could have been then i get a little sad.
Scp deserves so much better in terms of gaming. CB is awesome but I like to fantasize about what an scp game would look like if it was made by a larger company with a massive budget

By the way, there absolute IS a pair of NVG's in the 939 tunnels, it's just in a different place. Near the 3rd 939 by the 'exit' elevator, if you follow the loop that 939 is doing, you will find a facility guard corpse with the NVGs laying beside him, similar to how the Level 1 card is found in the 2nd 939's area.

Hear me out- SCP-106 can leave a large black puddle in the floor of Light Containment Zone as an environmental hazard, jump into it to get into the pocket dimension and try to escape. This should bring you to Heavy Containment Zone, skipping the entirety of Light Containment Zone. You should pop out in either the little storage room with the elevators, or 106's room. The storage room has a medkit, level 3 card, alongside some other supplies. 106's room has a level 5 keycard, if you don't spawn here, you can open the door with a level 4 card that you can get from 049's chamber. Now that you have a level 5 card, the rest should be relatively simple. Recontain 008, turn off the door controls, talk to 079, turn them back on, and escape through whatever method you please.

You don't need SCP-500-01 for the skeleton key if it spawns in 409's room, I did this on my first run, just sneak around the railing and grab it through the railing and if you do it right, you can skip getting the pills. If your screen blurs and you get the achievement then just reset.

@@СергійСавелов he probably did because of the spiral research and o5 council didnt like that and so he was later demoted, the fact that he cant remember much items but he views them as familiar in 1162 implies that he wad probably first secretly wiped out his memory, then demoted and put into the cell, but the unauthorized research of the spiral might've been what caused its save/load abilities
im pretty sure theirs multiple of the same scp in this and labrat cause ive had 173 corner me with 2 of them and and running into 066 repeatedly in places he cannot get without going past me
Technically you CAN beat the game w/o 914. you just have to have some luck with where you spawn out of the pocket dimension and hope you get spat out by the level 3 card where the medkit is in heavy, or 106's containment cell where level 5 is. then its just a matter of taking things slow and easy and being extra careful with movement and its p much gg's
I got transported there in a keter speedrun, I did die to peanut shortly after but it relieved me that I got taken that far into the game on my, like, 5th keter run

The Butt Ghost is a real SCP, but also not a real SCP. It's an SCP-J. A joke. There's quite a few modern SCPs that should be Js, but aren't. And that's a tragedy. The Butt Ghost has my respect for not kidding itself and being proud of being a J.
First time watcher here. It's been a long time since I've watched anything to do with SCPs. I also don't comment very often but I have to say, the editing on this video is impressive. I know a decent chunk about the well known SPCs, but having little text blurbs with info on all of them is so nice for someone returning like me or for someone new to the whole thing. And I have no doubt it took so much time to edit them in, as well as the extra little comments. 10/10 subscribed
keep in mind guys he Is playing a modded version of SCP:CB called SCP Ultimate edition reborn which adds alot of new rooms, textures (which some I made), new animations, lighting, props and more. I highly recomend yall go check them out and show them some support

The first time I found out you start coughing from the gas leak in 939, it caught me so off guard and I literally sat in the elevator for like 10 mins to see if I was going to die bc I thought I must have gotten poisoned by something prior to going down there and wanted to know if I needed to restart (I got the blurry vision from the gas leak super early too, so it wasn't just the coughing but both things), it does eventually kill you but it takes forever and then you just get a message about there being a gas leak down there on the death screen. It's nothing to worry about in casual runs bc of how long it takes but the coughing and blurred vision is honestly a nice touch to make it more challenging.
When that happened, I was worried that *somehow* the disease book got me infected even with the jade ring equipped, because I spammed the notebook fairly shortly beforehand.

By the way, there absolute IS a pair of NVG's in the 939 tunnels, it's just in a different place.
Near the 3rd 939 by the 'exit' elevator, if you follow the loop that 939 is doing, you will find a facility guard corpse with the NVGs laying beside him, similar to how the Level 1 card is found in the 2nd 939's area.

SCP-106 can leave a large black puddle in the floor of Light Containment Zone as an environmental hazard, jump into it to get into the pocket dimension and try to escape. This should bring you to Heavy Containment Zone, skipping the entirety of Light Containment Zone.
You should pop out in either the little storage room with the elevators, or 106's room. The storage room has a medkit, level 3 card, alongside some other supplies. 106's room has a level 5 keycard, if you don't spawn here, you can open the door with a level 4 card that you can get from 049's chamber.
Now that you have a level 5 card, the rest should be relatively simple. Recontain 008, turn off the door controls, talk to 079, turn them back on, and escape through whatever method you please.

You don't need SCP-500-01 for the skeleton key if it spawns in 409's room, I did this on my first run, just sneak around the railing and grab it through the railing and if you do it right, you can skip getting the pills. If your screen blurs and you get the achievement then just reset.

@@СергійСавелов he probably did because of the spiral research and o5 council didnt like that and so he was later demoted, the fact that he cant remember much items but he views them as familiar in 1162 implies that he wad probably first secretly wiped out his memory, then demoted and put into the cell, but the unauthorized research of the spiral might've been what caused its save/load abilities

Technically you CAN beat the game w/o 914. you just have to have some luck with where you spawn out of the pocket dimension and hope you get spat out by the level 3 card where the medkit is in heavy, or 106's containment cell where level 5 is. then its just a matter of taking things slow and easy and being extra careful with movement and its p much gg's
I got transported there in a keter speedrun, I did die to peanut shortly after but it relieved me that I got taken that far into the game on my, like, 5th keter run
