I REALLY want to keep this set for myself because I want to have those handles! I guess I just love you all too much :-) ...and I’m not allowed to have any more lock picking kits. I agree with you my friend I would like to have it just for the handles. I would have like to see if you bend them a little if they stay bent or they spring back like the spring steal. I'm not sure how good the hooks would be but like I said the handles could be useful.
They seem pretty springy, but just like a standard stainless, nothing like 301 or government. The handles are really nice though :-)
Lock Noob yep I would really like handles like that for my Southord dimple pick set. Not to say that there's not some other really useful items in there because there definitely is. 🤔
That is one huge set. Those do look real nice for using with dimple picks like you said. I'm almost surprised they didn't have a few of them in there too seeing as how they included a good amount of dimple rakes.

The tightening system keeps the pick centered in the handle👍

It is nice that it includes TOK wrenches. I've bought several rather large kits, but never received any of those.

Looks like there are some very useful tops and some interesting ones as well. Too bad it doesn’t have a couple dimple pick flags.
Even if the tips end up being junk the handles look pretty nice.

Looks like a fairly good set, certainly you're spoilt for choice as to what to use and the handles are awesome. Perhaps the stranger shaped picks are for Chinese locks that we don't see over here? Somewhat like that dimple rake that you used on the KESO 2000 which turned out to be for an older stlye of Chinese lock that had no warding on it.
I think BB recommended filing down the edges of the dimple rakes to get into more locks :-)
Yes, that would help, some of the Chinese rakes are a bit on the wide side :-) I've got my fingers crossed that I get lucky :-)
Looks like a decent set with a lot of profiles! I would almost hope you can get into any lock with that many picks (if only). Thanks for the awesome video!

Not too bad. I must say, my first set was Southord and I honestly thought they were bad, but I still use them often simply because their strong.

Wow. Slight overkill kit, but it definitely looks pretty complete. I'd certainly love it since it contains a lot of picks and rakes that I currently don't have.

Loadsapicks for not a loadsamoney, ratio wise, considering the amount of picks and accessories in this set. Thanks for the review, I'm sold!
If only those handles were available in scarlet red! Whatever the colour, they're pretty fine and I've got loadsaextra stranded half-length picks that would fit those handles nicely, and bump that kit up to well over a hundred picks to choose from!
For the variety of picks, versatile and practical handles and stainless steel, to boot, this kit is uncriticisable!
The only downside is if you want to polish them up a bit and thereafter, decide on pick selection, you will probably be well into a pensionable age. 🤔
The question is, can you have too many picks? My wife has banned me from buying anymore tools, but I always manage to convince her that we are not safe, DIY-speaking, because of new technologies...blinded with science! 😀
Hmmm, not sure if you can have too many picks as long as you have enough different locks to warrant them. That being said, most of use about 3 picks 80% of the time so... :-)
I've been thinking about getting the Southord pen pick for the glove box. Now I have a second contender. Interesting kit.

If you're looking for something to use with dimple flags, I would assume xacto blade handles would be worth looking into. They're usually pretty inexpensive as far as I remember.

Lock Noob oh, I like them too. They are pretty slick looking. Just saying I think the xacto ones would be serviceable for pick tips. Actually, I might go pick some up and give it a try soon.
That's a decent set. Wouldn't be my go-to set but could definitely come in handy.

looks like a good idea to make some flags to fit the handles, and replace the junk picks in the case. Some of them look too strange. But nice space saving design

Those handles would be useful heck you could even use them for hobby knife blades and a lot more.

Hey I just got into picking a month ago, I bought a set of southord c3010,quite pricey but I really wanted a decent set that I wouldn't bend so easily anyway- they really hurt my fingers after 20 minutes,! So I really want some different handles,rubber or plastic, I do have 3-4 dimple locks too which a friend gave to me which I do not have the tools yet, so I need to win this set!

Great review man! I ordered the kit based on this review, but got screwed by banggood. They sent me essentially a nylon ziplock bag with no proper way to sto the picks. So everything is just jumbling inside a bag. Contacted their customer service, let’s see what they do.

I have a feeling he meant it was 53 pounds (as in the currency) for the weight of it which probably is not 53 pounds but he was probably surprised it was so weighty for the price.

And a tip for anyone reading, use 2x small washers to hold the spring tension tool closed and easily stored in the back of the set out of the way!

A great review. Like you I think the handle would be great on their own, you could make dimple flags that could fit. The range of picks is impressive, shows thought has gone into the kit as a whole. Some of the profiles look weird but so do some of Pickology ones and they work a treat. For me the wafer picks would be a bit wasted but I see their use. Sorry for the long comment
