Just got my 920 elite a few weeks ago. Jeff is one of the main reasons I came out of a skeeter and into a Phoenix. These are the baddest on the planet and customer service is second to none.
Spot on review. I just completed the break in on my 920 Elite. This boat is built with every convenience option you could ask for in a fishing platform. Premium construction throughout. I am still finding new options on it and I've owned for 3 weeks now. 50 Gallon fuel tank for long runs. All the boxes are large, lit and provide ample storage (center storage has a flexible light for early morning rigging). Front and rear decks are huge. Love that Phoenix lets you customize color schemes which makes each boat unique and not cookie cutter. The ride of the 920 is smooth and responsive. No buyer remorse here. Phoenix builds em right. Hats off to them!
I'd like to see you put a list together of all the "Undervalued" boats & another list of all the "Overpriced" boats and do a video, could be longer, or 2 videos. Keep up the great content!
Love these over unders. Got a video idea. You have a 40 thousand budget, maybe a little bit over. You want a tournament ready bass boat. It can be aluminum. What's the best you can build?
I ordered a 921 elite. They said 3 months for the build. Sux having to wait but much rather have a boat that is gonna last. Plus you can customize this with your TM of choice, motor of choice, and any colors your imagination allows for. That’s alone makes them a quality boat builder in my opinion.
Phoenix is the best boat brand on the market for the Price period. they ride amazing and the lay out is perfect. its something other brands need to do instead of insane prices for crap!
I've been in a couple of these and they are sweet rides! If I could afford a new boat, Phoenix would be at top of the list. Great video as usual Andy. Thanks for doing these!
I have a 2016 819 pro xp. It's a great boat and has been extremely reliable and held up well to all season fishing. That said, what sets Phoenix apart in my mind is the customer service. It has been excellent. Any question I have had has been promptly answered by Tim personally, phone and email. Most everyone out there builds a good boat. It's the service after the sale directly from Phoenix that has made me a customer for life. Even the trailer company they use (Marine Master) has provided excellent support when I had a hub rotor destroy itself when the brake pad separated. I sent them 2 pictures, and 2 days later I had all the parts with extras to replace it (even a tube of grease and extra caps, bearings and brake pads for a whole other axle.) They warrantied all of it on a 5 year old trailer. I have been impressed by them both to say the least. It really is the little things that can make the difference when picking a company to buy from. Glad to see the review is exactly what I expected it to be.
Man, if there’s anything i would like to see... i would love to see you do a falcon 195... i know there’s a ton of guys on your page in the market for 19 footers, and Falcon is coming in hot here lately!
I have always been a fan of pheonix from the start. Talked about them to all my fishing club buddies. Last year one finally listened and bought a used 2019 921phx. I was hooked on the idea of a Gatertrax but once priced out I just didn't think it was worth it and a used one just doesn't exist. Well I looked up used Pheonix boats and stumbled on a 2019 921 pro xp and was shocked when it had a Suzuki 250ss. I'm picking it up Monday for probably 20 to 25k less than a new one. I wish it had garmin everything but when buying used you can't be that picky. I mean finding the Suzuki on one is impossible used so .......... but it has 2 12" Lowrance units
Just bought a Phoenix 721 Pro XP this morning! Have to wait for some back ordered graphs. Went with a helix 15 with Mega 360 off bow, helix 12 at console, and a pair of raptor poles, Ultrex 112. Not quite at decked out as the over/under...but a 21 ft boat with a 250 Merc with a Altas plate, and all that...I was able to stay very reasonable! In fact I barely went over the Elite starting price!!
Thank you for doing Phoenix. My plans are to order one in the next few weeks. This video has definitely reassured me that Phoenix is a great choice and value.
That’s what I figured. I ran across your video while researching for a new boat build and almost came to tears. 😢 If I could find a dealer to come close to your numbers I would be ordering today. Thank you for some amazing information video’s.
Good review! Liked Phoenix boats for a while. Thinking about making it my next boat. Like their style and since I live in Phoenix I got to get a Phoenix boat. 😄
Really enjoying all the videos! Is is possible to do a 18 foot boat playlist? I would love to see a Phoenix 818 pro with dual poles and ultrek with a 10 up front and a 10 at the console. Thanks 🙏
I’m a bass guy through and through. But being up north where you guys are. I’m sure you work on a lot of walleye/multi-species boats. I’ve fished many tournaments against guys in big lake walleye rigs. Would love to see you do a crossover video of one. Depending on how many you deal with and know about them 🤷🏻♂️
Left ranger for Phoenix. Customer service is awesome with Phoenix. Ranger was two hour wait to get anyone on the phone. It is what it is. Thanks Phoenix boats for building a great boat and supporting us buyers.
How about a series of undervalued/overpriced on used older used boats? Enjoy the series and time and effort you put into it. I am still running a 1996 Ranger 461vs, paid for redone bench seats, carpet, ultrex talons ( I know your opinion on them.😂) with a 150 efi. Still runs and rides great.
He did a cx 20 video already. I have a CX 21 and it is amazing... test drove a Phoenix 921 pro Xp and a 921 elite before buying my Caymas. Phoenix finishes are dated, but they are solid in rough water. If you’re in the market, test out a caymas and it will be hard to buy anything else.

I have 2 buddies that own Pheonix and I've driven them both 20footer running 83mph with 2 guys I cant complain but in rough water I had to run the trough without getting wet in it 2018 pheonix 20 footer
I’m looking at purchasing an 819. I keep comparing all the other competitors and keep ending back up at Phoenix because of the quality and what you get for the money. I want drive one just be sure, but on paper they are my winner so far.
I've had my 819 for 5 weeks now. Just turned over 10 hours. I've had boats for over 20 years. By far the best bass boat I've ever had. Btw, full tank of fuel, live wells, tournament load, two anglers, 70 mph boat. Rides and fishes like a 20' boat.

These folks are for sure skeeters competition and will pass them up quick IMO. Skeeter were dropping the ball in so many areas till the r series. And customer service is one of those areas.
Phoenix started off from the old bee line boats. I don't see why they would buy the old cobra hulls. Nothing in their line up is close to those boats at all.
No it was bumble bee. They called them pheonix bee line and was new 20 footer with a 250 for $30k or just over. They then came out with the 721 and after a few years stopped making the bee line. The bee line was priced to sell and were very light and fast but narrower and not as stable in ruff water. Bumble bee boats was a go fast company like Alison and bullet. Now the son of the old bumble boats is the owner of Falcon bassboats.
@@SigOhSig yeah the bee line was just an easy way to get started and have money coming in while they designed and made their own molds/hulls. They left stratos because they didn't want to cut corners for profit anymore. They wanted to built something top notch. I'm coming out of a stratos and it has treated me well for many years. 1998 stratos 201xl. Selling it if anyone is interested.
Here’s my opinion on Phoenix. The boat is very sweet. However I would like to see a model with a big center rod box. I also don’t like the console that’s half plastic. And I don’t think they offer fiberglass fenders. (I could be wrong I just never see but 2 with them). Not a fan of that flat black cheap looking fender
They offer fiberglass fenders but many don't want to spend the extra money. Plus fiberglass fenders can crack and are not as sturdy. I know people with cracked fiberglass fenders and they don't replace them because they are so expensive. Just the paint alone add so much cost. If the metal fenders rust 20 years later it's very cheap and easy to replace.
Thumbs up to Phoenix and Jeff Hartung!
Finally !! I still can't afford one but they sure are nice
👍🏻👍🏻
A big thank you to Jeff and Dave for helping us out with this video!

I know it’s aluminum but I’d love to see a video on an Avid 20 XB. Not a whole lot out there on these boats yet and I’m curious about them.
Sounds like the service I used to get from Ranger…..before Johnny Morris😢😢
These folks are for sure skeeters competition and will pass them up quick IMO. Skeeter were dropping the ball in so many areas till the r series. And customer service is one of those areas.
Blazer 650 pro tour and bass cat lynx
Is it true they bought cobras mold when they went out of business?
I guess we don't know that for sure Robert. Anybody in the comment section here know the answer?
Phoenix started off from the old bee line boats. I don't see why they would buy the old cobra hulls. Nothing in their line up is close to those boats at all.
No it was bumble bee. They called them pheonix bee line and was new 20 footer with a 250 for $30k or just over. They then came out with the 721 and after a few years stopped making the bee line. The bee line was priced to sell and were very light and fast but narrower and not as stable in ruff water. Bumble bee boats was a go fast company like Alison and bullet. Now the son of the old bumble boats is the owner of Falcon bassboats.
@@adamportner8102 that's right i misspoke
@@SigOhSig yeah the bee line was just an easy way to get started and have money coming in while they designed and made their own molds/hulls. They left stratos because they didn't want to cut corners for profit anymore. They wanted to built something top notch. I'm coming out of a stratos and it has treated me well for many years. 1998 stratos 201xl. Selling it if anyone is interested.
How heavy is the 31 series batteries
Great price for all that!!
Definitely is a great price!
I got sent to chris at phoenix for a sponsorship for a high school team and he sent me to a dealer and im not looking for a demo boat
Let’s have a video on Bullet Boats.
In the catalog you have to pay for the prop...doesn't come with Poles
Interesting!
Over under new Allison? 😜
How about a over/under boat for the weekend guy working man's bass boat ?
Let's see multispecies over/under.
Where is the FFS?
If I ever sell my Champion, Phoenix 920 is what it will be replaced with.
Good price! But still high price for the normal fisherman!
You are correct Lonnie!
I wonder if they have any rebates. Sometimes they do.and most people take a 15 year loan on an expensive boat which makes the payments doable.
