Its just a knife. I have a Green River Traditional Hunter knife. 5 inch blade, thin blade. So about 10 inches over all. I've used to to clean game, whittle tent pegs, cut food and leather. I still have it to this day, and its a great knife. Plus, Dexter Russell, is still making Green River knives, in the USA, out of good steel. If the Kephart knife was so good, why was it never mass produced? I am building one, based on the Condor tool and knife blank. Its not very impressive. Plus that BK62 is so way out of my price range. I've had my Green River knife, since the late 70's, and its still going strong.
had one for a year, i love it
I got one and it’s been very nice to have.
If you know about Kephart, he also carried a hatchet, to chop and split wood.

It's a nice looking knife! Something to be said for simplicity and function forward design.
How wide is the blade how wide can I contact you
I don’t have it on me at the moment, but it’s like 1.25 inches wide. About that.
@@pathrstThis 1.25-inch is measured from the base of the blade, or the middle of the blade
@@belligerencewar I was measuring from spine to edge. From handle to tip is 4 inches, I believe. You can check kabar website.
