I agree when you have your own house, renovation is a never ending journey. Before, my only dream is to have my own house. little did I know that expenses comes with it. hahaha so, every year my bonus goes to the house repair/renovations. but I am happy. I've been living in my house for 15 years and it still looks brand new!
this could be a nice episodes or playlist, "HOME RENOVATIONS". From this we could really learn that there are some things that will be missed out and will not be anticipated from the planning stage. And this skypod is a very good example of this renovations that we can watch and learn if they will document the renovations that might take place in thier home that maybe we could apply to our houses soon. Great house great people hope to see more vlog like these type of contents.
Far from it. He's teaching bad building practices and it's precisely why they're having so many renovations so early on. Unfortunately he's still making simple but drastic mistakes

I think I need PERGOLA in my life now. Its really meant for gatherings and chilling.
In some older houses where I live, the window casing extends down into the wall so you can just slide the whole window down into the wall. I don’t know if they make windows like that anymore, but it’s great if you want maximum airflow and no obstructed views.

Hi engr. Slater great content. If may I suggest as a constructive criticism. Have you considered using double glazed in your glass, with low-e to reduce SHG. Also these is too expensive, and YOU CAN AFFORD this one using thermally broken frames to your aluminium. This will minimize solar heat gain and loss. Thanks and by the way who is your local FACADE contractor? Kudos to all in the field of technical profession. Been watching you during your PBB days 😁😁😁 thanks for the technical tips specially to the engineering side

When he explains about the jalousie windows hehe 100% true but some people that has very smaller budget really wont appretiate that, they just want sliding windows because it feels way more fancy but nuuuhh, it just depends on the design of your jalousie windows and / needs and wants for your houzy hehehe.... this vid so noice
