i love this masterpiece it gave me a peaceful mind, also you play it good, some slow bpm that are so good to listen, i mean that from start which has slow note
@@steveneliya2046 thanks for the reply i am actually going on a concert very soon to play this song and some other pieces at a school i went to. and as well as going to another concert in North Carolina soon to play as well.
This is fantastic! I was so inspired by Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf rag that I taught myself to play it only knowing how to read treble clef from playing saxophone and learning to read bass clef. Definitely not the most efficient way to pick up playing piano🤣, but it was so worth it. I learned Gladiolus rag, too. It's so much fun to play! I've listened to a bunch of your songs now, and so far this is my favorite from you. Now you're my inspiration to want to keep going.
Great playing, a fantastic piece, I love playing this, do you agree that ragtime is exciting to play, I love the syncopation with base note and chord, and how that allows the ragging effect to come into play, also the last 2 movements as well as well as the intro and the first two for me makes the piece, greetings from wales uk.
Use a metronome. Don’t increase tempo until you can play a section with no mistakes 3-5x in a row. Isolate problem areas with even slower tempo. Then work up from there. Hope this helps :)
In ragtime in general, I try to use the pedal to extend the duration of the bass notes as my left hand jumps to each chord. Then when I play the chord, I release the pedal. Hope this helps :)
Hey I have the same rug.
I wish I could play the song like this. My grandma’s mother (dad’s mom) was really good at playing the entertainer
I love It's The only one I've seen is where the pedal work is shown!

Thanks! Yes, I love ragtime (if you couldn’t tell 😉). I’m glad you enjoyed!
😮😮😮😮🎉
As heard in Don't Whack Your Teacher.
I just learned maple leaf rag. I want to learn this next. I wonder how it compares as in difficulty
I think you’ll find The Entertainer to be a little easier than Maple Leaf. Both iconic rags for sure though!
@@steveneliya2046 ok cool, thank you cant wait

its very awesome, can you give me some tips to use the sustain pedal in this piece? i'm a bit confuse

Can you learn the Tom Brier version?
It would be good to have some close ups of the piano keys being played.
It's so refreshing to hear old classic music from the early 1900s....It seems America's political system was so innocent in those days 🙄🙏🎩👒🎓💍
what does that even mean
wow wtf
