Hey Steven, I really enjoyed your performance! One question: At 2:12 - 2:14 it sounds like a neat little improvisation that you did, what exactly did you play there, I think it sounds nice and I want to include it into my playing :)
Sorry I just got to this! I think I changed up the rhythm slightly so that it’s two sixteenth notes followed by an eighth, whereas the original version is written as an eighth followed by two sixteenths. I think I did this change without realizing 😂 after playing a song for years you start to develop weird habits, but I’m glad you pointed it out!
I appreciate that! My favorite recently has been one called Gladiolus rag, which in my opinion is just a better version of Maple Leaf haha. Definitely check it out if you’ve never heard it!
Maybe he keeps it that way for rag times... agree tho that piano looks like it could sound amazing properly tuned, rag time will still sound great but so will everything else.
@@MikeWalls7829 Yeah, I generally dislike new pianos being out of tune, on older instruments the wood has aged enough to actually give the piano a warmer tone when it's slightly out of tune, new pianos just get trashy
A ten and what a beautiful piano.
It's rare to find such a good and well recorded rendition of such a famous song with this few views, even though it's new. Criminally underrated!
You got that right!
So clean
Banger alert
Thanks for playing it
exceptionally well done. thanks for not racing through it. most people play it way too fast. this was sheer perfection. thank you!
Thanks so much!
finally, a gem in the algorithm.
So good!!
soo good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice, Steven. Thanks.
nice hat
Thank you for reminiding me of my great dad, who passed away in 2019. He used to love to play this tune
Happy I could bring back those memories, thanks so much ❤️

Made my day! Greetings from Norway
Bravissimo!
🔥🔥🔥
What make and model piano are you using? Nice Performance!
That sounds notoriously Yamaha. And I think I can make that out printed above the keyboard.

Great job! I really like your style of interpretation. I hesitate between this one, The Entertainer and Magnetic Rag, which one do you prefer playing?

Thank you I have listened to it, and it reminds me of Mapple Leaf! Thank you and keep publishing videos!@@steveneliya2046

Nice playing! Just one thing, please get the piano tuned, it sounds like it sat in garage for 10 years xD
