This is the content I love!Tuscany in summer, delicious seasonal veggies and other foods, chubby, tanned Gianfranco enjoying his life, and beautiful, glowing, Mother Earth Kylie in the center of it all.😆
Some people on here act like you're not paying attention...You're teaching that amazing soul what life looks like and doing an amazing job in every area of what you show us. Take good care of yourself, family and the wonderful life inside of you ❤ A dopo 😊 The zucchini can be sliced and dried in the sun for a few hours, then saute in a pan with 4 tbsp olive oil garlic and get them golden. Once done, dress zucchini with red wine vinegar, salt and fresh mint. Buon appetito
Kylie, for the fly problem... simmer whole cloves in water for twenty minutes or so. Pour all into a jar and leave out on the counter. I make enough to keep some in a spray bottle to use around my door, threshold, etc. I am amazed at the difference.
Excellent meals!! Those tomatoes look amazing. So peaceful and inspiring to grow even more vegetables and herbs around the house. And that little man is so tan. We are so happy for you !! Thanks for sharing once again. Beautiful footage. Love the views… and even the details of the flies you have in your kitchen now. So much we relate to. Bravo film👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Those suntanned baby toes are just too scrumptious 🥰 what a good helper you have 😊 Loved the naration, I could indeed picture myself near the Mediterranean Sea. You are an expert in setting a mood- I love it!! Have a wonderful week.
Beautiful, GianCarlo is so blessed being raised in this bucolic Tuscan paradiso, and to have you & Guido as his parents. Thank you for sharing a bit of your paradise with us all. I will definitely be trying out these yummy recipes!🌻
Beautiful food, thanks for sharing Kylie. Hope you’re feeling better no more pregnancy sickness. 👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍
Oh gosh Kylie, I‘m so happy that I found your channel. Your catching the beauty of everydays life in a cinematographic way which is just indulgent. And GianFranco is just SO adorable. As a mother of 2 grownup sons, my heart gets wide 💚. Love your content. Greetings from northern Germany
Sending love from Devon England 🏴 ❤ oh congratulations wonderful news. 😊🎉🎉 i know your a wonderful Mother, but i did have my heart miss beats with the large knife so near baby boy, it takes seconds. Sent with respect and care from a maybe over fussy Grandmother.😊
Thank you for these healthy, summer lunch ideas! I made the tomato salad for my husband and he enjoyed it very much! will make open faced tuna sandwich for lunch tomorrow! Congratulations to you, Guido and Gianfranco on your expected new addition to your beautiful family! I had too much zucchini in the garden when I was expecting my first child! I spent all day making ratatouille and zucchini bread. When I sat down in the mid-afternoon I got the 1st labor pain!! Here is a recipe my family and I have enjoyed for many years: Zucchini Feta Pancakes from the Mooswood Cookbook by Mollie Katzen One usually thinks of a pancake supper as a generally starchy affair. However, the bulk of these lovely pancakes consists of eggs and zucchini with just enough flour to bind them. This makes enough to comfortably fill four average sized persons. About 30 minutes to prepare, before frying. 4 packed cups coarsely grated zucchini 4 eggs, separated 1 heaping cup finely crumbled feta cheese ½ cup minced scallions ¾ tsp dried mint salt and black pepper 1/3 cup flour (I usually add a bit more) butter for frying sour cream or yogurt for topping Place the grated zucchini in a colander in a bowl, salt it lightly and let it stand 15 minutes. Rinse it, and squeeze out all excess water. Combine squeezed zucchini, egg yolks, feta, scallions, flour, and spices. Mix well. Beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks. Fold into first mixture. Fry in butter, on both sides, until golden and crisp. Serve topped with sour cream or yogurt.
Kylie, you make the simplest of things look so beautifully and delicious. I always think the simplest ingredients are the best. You are such a good Mother too.x 🌸🌻🌸
Love these two recipes and I have all the ingredients ! Oh Giancarlo is so talkative and love hearing him call you Mamma❤. He’s going to be the best big brother 😊.
Dear Kylie, your heirloom tomatoes are such an essential luxury for quality food. That is an extraordinary beautiful summer salad. Jazzing up cold lentils with the marvel of marvelous fresh herbs is the ingredients of memorable tasting. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could just run up to that flat screen and grab a bit to taste. Herbs are like magic. We could feed the world 🌎. Love to hear the conversation you have with your darling boy. You are teaching him important things. He does so well watching "Mumma"... So do we! Caio
I love what you said about lentils, Kylie. I fell in love with their simplicity when living in Turkey. I spent many a day making a lentil, tomato and parsley salad dressed with lemon juice and olive oil. You are a lovely mama.

I wanted to come back to share an idea for extra zucchini. My former professor from way back, Frances Mayes, who also lives (at least part of the year) in Tuscany, makes a lemon pesto to serve on grated and sauteed zucchini. The lemon pesto includes some peel, not just lemon juice.
I always learn so much from you and your cooking and baking with so much love! I also am one of those people that likes things to match and color patterns to blend. Even when others may not notice, I do, and it is so soothing and lovely to notice little things like the color of purple in the fresh food and the way it blended with the cloth pattern. ❤❤❤ You are one of my favorite filmmakers on UA-cam. It is like always visiting a garden for our senses. 🍊🍋🫛🧀☕️💐🌼🪴🌱⚘️🪻🌼
Hehehe look at little man and spade, ready for some digging Gianfranco ❤😊 helping mummy pick veggies, your tomatoes look good 👍🏽 Lentils are introverts that's so true 😂 Both dishes looked amazing. Definitely going to try add capers more to salads as I do like them. Hope all is well with you and the family, can't wait for next episode. Coccole e baci, grazie tesoro come sempre ❤ xx
Truly appreciate the attention you gave to cutting the cucumber so fine, to go with the tuna blended with herbs , yoghurt and then plating it with such flair , spreading each slice of crusty bread with this beautuful salad coming alive with a bit of lemon zest, and topping it with freshly scooped out avocados...and then enjoying it in peaceful quiet, sitting on your patio overlooking the sun drenched flower and brittle grass fields , and allowing the dreamy langour of that hour to seep in.
The purple of the onion matches the design in the tablecloth & so too does the yellow of the olive oil. Thought I'd point that out, as you've obviously the eye of a designer too.
Beautiful Kylie. I always envisioned myself living this lifestyle and was so close it and it all slipped away so I live it through you. I’m so glad you had the balls to give everything up and chase your dreams I wasn’t brave enough now in my early 40’s wondering if this is it. Cause it’s boring lol (my life not yours)
Love sharing recipes! For zuccini I like to do two things. One is peel it and zoodle it up into noodles, then add spagetti sauce to it. I don't cook the zuccini but I peel it because the raw skins are hard to digest. Just hot sauce on raw peeled zoodles, with parmesan. Next I cut zuccini into rounds and layer a cookie sheet, then it's like making pizza, sauce, sauted veggies, salami, olives, cheeses. Bake it up.
for the second recipe, you just have the layers of zucchini rounds and add sauce on top and then serve with the other things you mentioned? or you put it all in the oven?
@@ConorMcGuire-rl5rn yes olive oil on cookie sheet...zuc rounds put on...like the pizza crust. Then sauce etc. Bake at 375 for about 25 min. I still give my veg a quick stir fry...but its probably fine not to as well. Low carb...eat more!
Just love watching your videos . Was just sending messages too your Auntie Sally and chatting . I used too live in Melbourne now SA. Sally and I would spend days out coffee and cake ,nurseries , opshops . Also have craft days . Miss that . Oh can't believe how quick how your little boy has grown .
1. Zucchini Baba Ganoush - smoke, drain the zuccs even overnight. ( dont think it freezes well ) 2. Zucc and Cucumber cold soups ( freeze for winter ) .
I looked for these recipes o your site but cannot find them by name or by searching just “salad”. Any tips? Maybe it’s my internet, not sure. But love these ideas for summer! ❤❤❤
Thank you! You really should be arrested for making summer food look so delicious.. Mouth watering .. Gian Franco Is getting to be a lil brown bear.. His toes are so precious! Love you and yours Kylie! Thanks again for this wonderful inspiration!
Nice recipes! I love lentils in a veggie burger. I make a lentil soup, then the next day put some of the thickened cold soup in the food processor. Blend it, then put in a bowl, add as much oatmeal as needed to make burgers. Add some fresh herbs, or more spice? Form patties and fry them up, maybe avocado oil or olive. I do put them on paper towel to blot oil, then serve however, beside a salad or in a bun with pickles, cheese. (you could probably not make soup and wing this somehow with canned lentils.)
I'm happy to see that you seem to embrace each moment as it's given to you. If it's hot, keep cool and relax. Excess heat drains energy anyway, whether you're pregnant or not. And Mediterranean heat, despite the sea, still sizzles. You don't want to risk heat stroke in any event.
Those summer dishes look wonderful Kylie❣️We are blessed here too in Fresno, California with an abundance of delicious fruits and vegetables ❣️🍇🍉🫐🍋🍒🥬🍅🫑I like to lightly fry zuchini slices in a little olive oil on both sides until golden. I salt and pepper them and add a teaspoon of goat cheese on top of each slice❣️Yummy❣️😀
That sounds delicious. Greetings from...California. There are so many fruits and vegetables on offer there. I was born in the Central Valley, so I know the abundance we are blessed with.
Watching from my husband's childhood home here in Greece. Its so hot We are also living off salads.l and this morning my husband d ran outside to catch the fish munger to buy fresh fish for tonight's bbq with friends. Greetings to your little helper too!
Those salads look so amazing. Soaking the red onion for 10 minutes in vinegar before using them may help you to enjoy them more without the heartburn later. It helps me anyway. That beautiful little boy is more adorable every time you post another video. Thanks for sharing.
Shred the zucchini and remove as much of the moisture as possible (seeds too if it's a very large) and freeze it in portion sizes. In the winter you can add it to sauces, zucchini bread, quiche, etc. A Little taste of summer. when it's cold. Your garden is beautiful and bountiful. Brava.
I love all your recipes, as well eat very similar food as a rule. I’m totally in love with Faro salads at the moment, as they fill me but by adding freshness and lemon juice, they remain light and summery too! Such wonderful ideas! Grazie Kylie 🤗🪻🌞🐝♥️
Loved the recipes in the video, thank you for sharing! I like how you add your personal touch to the ingredients. 🥗 look perfect for a hot ☀️summer day!
I enjoy every moment of all your episodes, this is a perfect simple lifestyle, and love the music ,I always watch big screen tv ,your editing and filming is more then professional, thanks for all this beautiful films
I LOVE your healthy lunch videos! I come back to the recipes again and again. In fact, JUST this morning, I bought ingredients to make one of the salads you've shared in a previous video (the one with roasted broccoli, squash, lemon, chickpeas, olives, feta etc) to make for lunch tomorrow. Love these videos so much. I love the flavor profiles that you like. Can't wait to try the lentils one especially.
Cooking is a therapy for me & watching you cook/prepare dishes using beautiful fresh ingredients in a magical location is pure joy. We'll soon have our place ready in Tuscany & we can't wait. You're a wonderful family. ♥️♥️
I'm making the lentil salad for lunch tomorrow. It fits right into my Mediterranean meal plans. This is perhaps the 10th recipe or so of yours that I've made and have yet to be disappointed. It's hot here too in LA. I'm not melting. Yet. The sounds of those summer bugs bring back childhood memories.
Another Beautiful video! Thank you so much for the inspiration… I’m in America and trying to slow life down and savor the flavors of our garden! This inspires me so much!!! ❤
Lidia Bastianich on TV cooking show made a zucchini and tuna appetizer/salad. She 1st pare boiled whole zucchini for 8 minutes. Cooled them, then sliced. She added tuna, evoo and lemon. Season to taste. It looked delicious. Something to do with your zucchini!
Thank you, Kylie. I love all your videos, I love those two recipes that you made. I’m gonna try them.!! Love your little baby is so cute especially when he says mama , especially with the Italian accent, so adorable!!
Kylie, are the lentils must be uncooked? I didn't know one could eat raw lentils. That salad looks delicious. I haven't watched the tuna one yet - I'm about to and I'll bet it's just as good.😊
Good very early morning, Kylie. I just started thinking about you & was reflecting on the beauty of your flowers .Your son will be learning so much about them. This idea that I have might be a very fun thing to do with him. If you were to pick one of each of the flowers in bloom that you have.( By increasing increments, meaning today you pick two flowers, mastering their names, seeing what he can absorb) By putting them in separate vases or bottles & then teach him to repeat their names he might greatly expand his understanding in a beautifully practical way. Little by little he could remember every one of their names. One could certainly review to reinforce the names. In my imagination, this would be a celebration of your garden. How practical hopefully this might be to his language development of many languages.
Make ratatouille with zucchini, aubergine and peppers. It is a wonderful side, hot cold or room temperature and is also great over pasta. You can also pickle zucchini. You have built a beautiful family and a beautiful life with Guido and the little one(s).
Looks delicious❤ I use to love working with my kids sitting on the countertop helping me and chatting away, now I do it with the grand babies. Precious times❤
Thank you for the lovely video and recipes. I was s o nervous with your little boy so close to you while chopping. At one point you stepped away with the knife in front of him. It only takes a second for him to reach forward. Please be careful.
I live life this way. It’s too hot here in Italy to cook inside. So we cook outside. Baby girl #3 sits outside and helps me cook. Babies 1-2 were not so helpful. It’s up to mama to judge if baby can’t handle a particular situation. I trust Kylie.
Dear Kylie. Once again I would like to Thank you for those two lunch recipes, they look delicious. I also loved love to see how your son is so well behaved where ever you take him. (Well except when he cant sleep which I think soon it will be over.) He does not look like some children that can not stay still/ I love his precious hands and feet good to be kissed.

Zucchini Feta Pancakes from the Mooswood Cookbook by Mollie Katzen
One usually thinks of a pancake supper as a generally starchy affair. However, the bulk of these
lovely pancakes consists of eggs and zucchini with just enough flour to bind them. This makes
enough to comfortably fill four average sized persons.
About 30 minutes to prepare, before frying.
4 packed cups coarsely grated zucchini
4 eggs, separated
1 heaping cup finely crumbled feta cheese
½ cup minced scallions
¾ tsp dried mint
salt and black pepper
1/3 cup flour (I usually add a bit more)
butter for frying
sour cream or yogurt for topping
Place the grated zucchini in a colander in a bowl, salt it lightly and let it stand 15 minutes. Rinse
it, and squeeze out all excess water.

Can’t wait to try these lovely salads. Thank you for sharing.
By the way your Son is growing so handsome and healthy.
Kylie please be careful with the knife lying so close to Gianfranco.
Thank you, Kylie. I love all your videos, I love those two recipes that you made. I’m gonna try them.!! Love your little baby is so cute especially when he says mama , especially with the Italian accent, so adorable!!
🤗🤗🤗
Do the lentils get cooked before they’re in the salad?
Make ratatouille with zucchini, aubergine and peppers. It is a wonderful side, hot cold or room temperature and is also great over pasta. You can also pickle zucchini. You have built a beautiful family and a beautiful life with Guido and the little one(s).
Looks delicious❤ I use to love working with my kids sitting on the countertop helping me and chatting away, now I do it with the grand babies. Precious times❤
Merci, c'est un grand plaisir que de vous voir cuisiner dans un si bel environnement🌿☀️
I you have flies you can use those nice food net umbrellas; pretty handy when you cook or eat outside.
Thank you for the lovely video and recipes. I was s o nervous with your little boy so close to you while chopping. At one point you stepped away with the knife in front of him. It only takes a second for him to reach forward. Please be careful.
Knife too close to baby. Glad he didn’t reach for it.
I live life this way. It’s too hot here in Italy to cook inside. So we cook outside. Baby girl #3 sits outside and helps me cook. Babies 1-2 were not so helpful. It’s up to mama to judge if baby can’t handle a particular situation. I trust Kylie.
In Europe we teach kids the danger of knife / fire and we teach them how to prep food - it is safety through education
Looks very hot and dry there! 🥵 But these dishes look so good I’m going to need to try making them this weekend! Buon fine settimana. 😊
It is!! 🌞 Happy cooking.
Send you love from London.
