For me it's the different voices he has and the way he really "performs" the vocal line. The sneer's, screams and the way he spits the words out with all the hard consonants. He is the Ronnie Dio of Emo.

@Cyber Space time passed... Now I'm 14 and I found myself as a dense baritone (in other words, I range Bb2 - G4 with my chest voice). But my voice is developing yet, and it can change.

E5 is not that high of a note, baritones can reach that with some training and for tenor its quite in the range

i got so emotional watching this because i've been listening to this band since i was in middle school (i'm 27 now) and i was toppled over by how his isolated vocals sound like they're bouncing off the walls of a cathedral and yiiiiikes...the tears came. i was boohooing like an idiot. i don't even know how, they just did! thank you so much for uploading this.

5:06 This is my favorite song by him. Cancer is such a short and emotional song. The reason I love the song so much is because his voice sounds incredibly beautiful and angelic but also this involves my grandpa. I only knew him until I was 2 Years Old and he was the greatest man I have ever met. He died from cancer, I forgot which type, but I know it was cancer. I was heartbroken and didn’t understand what happened to him until I was a few years older. I had a really strong bond with that man, you would’ve loved him. You may not think about this song the way I do, but I think this is the prettiest song that has been done my him. One of the most emotional ones too. Anyways, I hope you all are doing good. Remember your worth, and have a good day.

There's a Bb2 in The end, and mama in backing vocals, there's also a B2 in sleep if u listen closely, there's a C3 in this is how I disappear if u listen closely to the can u hear me cry part, and theres a E5 in dead, a D5 in welcome to the black parade and a C3 in i dont love you

Sounds like everything above Bb5 is heavyly processed, I can hear the autotune and the timestretch editing kicking in. Might be wrong, but it sounds like it

if you mean Bb4, then maybe he somewhat started to use mix if that's what you're hearing - I doubt they used autotune,Gerard loved overlaying his vocals (maybe that's why it sounds the way it does)

I'm a huge fan of gerard and trying to sing his songs and yes!! Absolutely hard to sing because of his style and high notes that hard to reach gerard is one of the great Frontman in history of rock N roll
His notes are taller than Frank 😂😂
My voice go around Brendon Urie's High notes but I usually can only sing lower than Gerard's voice

To be fair SOME of those really high notes are digitally pitched up on purpose or falsetto. And some are screams.
