  • Hi Guys,
Today we get stuck into a conversion of the 1/35th MiniArt French Café. There will be cutting stuff, sanding stuff, making moulds, resin casting, 3D printing and some surfacing and painting, so lots of different things to see.
Also a bit of important news about Model-Creators Kickstarter.
Thanks for taking the time to watch, I hope you enjoy the video and as always look forward to your comments.
    Cheers,
    Glen

Great video very professional. You might consider a florist shop and a coffee house next door. 🇮🇪

Thanks David, I like the idea of a florist, that has lots of potential. I have a future dio in mind where a cafe with sidewalk tables will feature, along with an exploding staff car amongst other things 🤪

A very nice and informative step by step build. Attention to detail is great and after painting this should look great. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.

Thank you, it came out ok in the end, but I did learn heaps along the way so the next one I do will be my own design in 3D design software. "unfortunately" I will probably need to buy a bigger and better 3D printer 😇 What a shame!!! My longer term aim is to develop a module set of components that can be printed to make almost any style of building, which might even have some appeal as a product for people to buy, will see, at the pace I work that could be years away!!!

That was really good Glen you have really got a handle on the 3d printing now . Regards Gav.

Thanks Liam, much appreciated mate, I think fruit and veg is leading the poll right now, and I have the Miniart fruit and veg accessory kit so that's almost meant to happen 😃 Stay safe mate, email on its way to you tonight 👍

@@HalidonDioramas years ago when those mini art buildings were everywhere, a friend of mine suggested casting replacement windows in different styles, more detail, more shapes, damaged, undamaged etc... it was a good idea but not my thing, but these days with 3d printer I bet alot of people could benefit from your designs to jazz up those terrible kits like you did... Great job making that kit do something better than expected! thanks

    - I loved this video on multiple levels! Thank You! Learned- Laughed- Appreciated- Hell, your News Segment had me laughing with ticker-tape scrolling- and your commentary spot real- Ol’Rupert Murdoch could use your skill sets for the crap they call News at FOX network here in the States… Horrid. I was sanding down Mini-Art DAK tankers for the second run (… I bought 3 sets of Mini-Art 1:35 panzer crews a few weeks ago- thinking along same lines as you- as I watched you working on Mini-Art - then the 3-D printing that I’ve never really WATCHED before- and the mold making as well. Fascinating. Well done in All- Be Well- and Cheers from Detroit-

Awesome Glenn, as usual. I'd love to get a 3D printer. I have a vehicle I want to print; I know no one will ever make one. Anyway, I just received my cordless airbrush and I must say I love it. Is yours a neat&handy? Or should I say Chinese, haha. Looking forward to your next update.

    • @HalidonDioramas

Hey Clay, I am starting to get a basic grip on the 3D printing, it has a world of possibilities, so I am looking forward to getting better at the design side of things. Yes I have the Neatandhandy airbrush, I love it, for the price you pay, I recon you get good value and I find myself using it a lot for little jobs rather than fire up the compressor for my normal airbrush. Also I find it so easy to clean, I can take it to the sink and rinse and blow and its all sorted in a minute!!! Hope you are all keeping safe and well mate 👍

U.N. ruled years ago that since Ukraine didn't have any established borders then they were not an independent country but part of Russia. And the Russian government was given license to hunt Nazis by the U.N. since about 47 or 48
